状语从句共分九类： 1. 时间：when, whenever, while, as, before, after, since, till/until, as soon as 2. 地点：where, wherever 3. 原因：because, as, since, now that 4. 目的：so...that, so that, in order that, in case 5. 结果：so that, so/such...that... 6. 条件：if, unless, as long as, in case, on condition that 7. 让步：although/though, even if/though, whether...or..., 疑问词+ever,

1.我一进入教室， 老师就问我为什么来这么晚。（as soon as/ the moment/ the instant / immediately/ directly/ instantly ...一......就......） As soon as/ The moment /The instant /Immediately/ Directly/ Instantly I entered the classroom, my teacher asked me why I was so late.
Providing/Provided/ Suppose/ Supposing (that)/ On condition that I'm honored enough to be part of your team, I’d spare no effort to serve the visitors as a good guide.
2. 每当我经过那所学校，我就想起我的第-一个英语老师。（each/ every time每次，每当......）

（一）状语从句的类型及连词
e.g.: 1> If it is convenient for you, let's meet at 8:30 outside the school gate. 2> I'll help you read and understand the selected poems before we have a discussion of them. 3> We can set out early so that we will have more time to read and select books. 4> We lost the game, though everyone played well. 5> Because the paper is scheduled to come out early July, please send your work to me via this email before 28th of June.

养成良好的答题习惯，是决定高考英语成败的决定性因素之一。做题前， 要认真阅读题目要求、题干和选项，并对答案内容作出合理预测;答题时，切忌 跟着感觉走，最好按照题目序号来做，不会的或存在疑问的，要做好标记，要 善于发现，找到题目的题眼所在，规范答题，书写工整;答题完毕时，要认真检 查，查漏补缺，纠正错误。总之，在最后的复习阶段，学生们不要加大练习量。 在这个时候，学生要尽快找到适合自己的答题方式，最重要的是以平常心去面 对考试。英语最后的复习要树立信心，考试的时候遇到难题要想“别人也难”， 遇到容易的则要想“细心审题”。越到最后，考生越要回归基础，单词最好再梳 理一遍，这样有利于提高阅读理解的效率。另附高考复习方法和考前30天冲刺 复习方法。

（四）读后续写练习
阅读下面短文，根据所给情节进行续写，使之构成一个完整的故事。
Pumpkin (南瓜) carving at Halloween is a family tradition. We visit a local farm every October. In the pumpkin field, I compete with my three brothers and sister to seek out the biggest pumpkin. My dad has a rule that we have to carry our pumpkins back home, and as the eldest child I have an advantage-I carried an 85pounder back last year.
（二）状语从句的省略
当状语从句中的主语与主句的主语一致，且状语从句中含有be动词时， 可以将从句中的主语和be动词一起省略，避免累赘重复，使句子更加灵活 高级。 e.g.: 1>The student, when questioned why he had cheated in the exam, just looked at the teacher and said nothing. 2>When young, he used to build castles in the air and thus completed nothing.
9. 你们如此善良、体贴，以至于我们希望成为你们的朋友，无论你们在哪儿 。（no matter wh- .. wh-+ -ever ...无.....）

This year, it was hard to tell whether my prize or the one chosen by my 14-yearold brother, Jason, was the winner. Unfortunately we forgot to weigh them before taking out their insides, but I was determined to prove my point. All of us were hard at work at the kitchen table, with my mom filming the annual event. I’m unsure now why I thought forcing my head inside the pumpkin would settle the matter, but it seemed to make perfect sense at the time.

阅读下面短文，根据所给情节进行续写，使之构成一个完整的故事。
