英文绘本课:Brown bear, brown bear, what do you see?
一、教学背景:
1. 学生分析:三年级学生在一年的英语学习后,学习了较多的颜色及动物单词,并有了一定的句子认读能力。
2. 教材分析:国外绘本读物,句型简单、重复,有节奏感,能唱读。
二、教学目标:
1. 学生能听、说、读句子:What do you see? I see … looking at me.
2. 学生能听、说、读单词:
(1)颜色:blue、green、yellow、red、purple、white、brown、black(2)动物:duck、cat、bird、bear、horse、frog、dog、sheep、goldfish
(3)人物:teacher、children
3.学生能理解、听、说、读绘本内容。
4.了解押韵词、反复修辞等写作方法。
三、教学重难点:
1. 学习新句型“What do you see? I see … looking at me.”以便于理解绘本阅读书的故事内容。
2. 通过复习旧单词:blue、green、yellow、red、purple、white、brown、black、duck、cat、bird、bear,并学习新单词:horse、frog、dog、sheep、goldfish、teacher、children,拓展学生单词知识。

Step1.Warming up & lead-in

2. Enjoy a song:《The animal sounds song》
3. Lead in:
a. T: Hello, boys a nd girls, let’s have fun with English together, OK? Ss: OK.
T: First, let’s do a finger play.(边说边表演动物主题的手指儿歌)
One finger, one finger, turn, turn, turn.
Turn to a cow and moo, moo, moo.
Two fingers, two fingers, turn, turn, turn.
Turn to a rabbit and jump, jump, jump.
Three fingers, three fingers, turn, turn, turn.
Turn to a cat and miaow, miaow, miaow.

b. T: OK. What do you see in that rhyme?
Ss: I see a cow, a rabbit, a cat and a dog.
T: So they are animals. Do you like animals?
Ss: Yes.
T: Good.Today we are going to read a book about animals. Guess! What animal is it? Listen! It’s very big and fat. It likes honey. What is it? Ss: It’s a bear.(教授单词bear)
T: Do you know the teddy bear? Let’s enjoy a rhyme about teddy bear. You can say after it and act it.

d. T: Now look at my big picture book. On the cover, there is a big…Ss: A bear. T: Correct. Look at the bear, what colour is it?
Ss: It’s brown.
T: You’re right. It’s brown. It’s a brown bear. So this book is called Brown Bear, brown bear, what do you see? Let’s read the title together.(师
带读课题,生跟读)
e.T: This book is written by Bill Martin Jr. and illustrated by Eric Carle. Let’s open the picture book and have a look. Wow, so many beautiful colours here. Can you say the colours?
Ss: Yes. T: Now let’s try. What colour do you see?
Ss : Brown, red, yellow, blue, green, purple, white, black and orange. T: Perfect. Can you say a rhyme about colours? Ss: Yes.
T: Let’s say a rhyme about the rainbow.
I see green. I see yellow. I see blue. I see purple. I see the beautiful rainbow. Shining over there, outside my window.
Step2.Presentation and drills.
a.T: So you know this is a pretty book about animals and colours. Do you want to read it? Ss: Yes.
T: Now listen to the record and enjoy.(生听绘本录音)
T: Children, what do you see in this picture book? Let’s try to look and say. If you can’t say some of the ne w words, I will tell you .
Ss: We see a brown bear, a red bird, a yellow duck, a blue…a green…a white cat, a black… a …
T: Horse, frog, sheep, goldfish(师提醒) and a teacher.
T: Good. That’s what we see. Can you tell me what“looking at”means? You know “look at”means “看”. Look at me, look at my eyes. I am looking at you , and you are looking at me. So it means“ 正在看”。
b. T: Let’s learn some new words.

T: Can you read this word, for, or, horse, who can read? You are right.
I have many horses here, white ho rse, black horse… Now , look! What do you see? You should answer like this, “I see a …”.Clear?(师在大屏幕上展示不同颜色的马,生快速回答)
Sheep

Goldfish
T: What abou t this word? Let’s learn. Old, gold, goldfish. Here are some more goldfish here. What do you see? Quick respond. (师在大屏幕上展示不同颜色的金鱼,生快速回答)

Magic eyes 的图片最后定格在children, T:Who are they? Some boys and girls. We call them children.
e. T: Children, Let’s listen to the computer. And follow it.
f. read it yourself and read together.
g. Find the rhyming words.(师解释)They are the same ending sounds. So these are called the rhyming words
h. Find the rhetorical repetition
T: Children, can you find something interesting? At the end of the first sentence, there is “red bird”, and at the beginning of the second sentence, there is “red bird”. The same as “yellow duck”-“yellow duck”, “blue horse”-“blue horse”…It is called rhetorical repetition. Inte resting? Isn’t it? Let’s keep on saying.
