Materials:
- Textbook

- Pictures of different school subjects
Introduction (5 minutes):
Start the class by asking students to share what subjects they enjoy in school. Write their responses on the board and encourage them to use the phrase "My favorite subject is..."
Vocabulary (10 minutes):
Introduce new vocabulary related to school subjects and adjectives to describe them. Use pictures to help students understand the words. Teach words like "science," "math," "history," "interesting," "boring," "challenging," "easy," and "difficult."
Grammar Focus (15 minutes):
Focus on comparative and superlative forms of adjectives. Use
examples to explain the difference between "more interesting," "most interesting," "more difficult," and "most difficult." Practice with sentences like "Math is more
difficult than science," and "English is the easiest subject."
Reading Comprehension (15 minutes):
Distribute a reading passage from the textbook that talks about different students' opinions on their favorite subjects. After reading, have students answer comprehension questions
to check their understanding.
Speaking Activity (20 minutes):
Divide students into small groups. Each group should discuss and list the reasons why they like or dislike certain subjects. Encourage them to use comparative and superlative adjectives in their discussions.
Listening Practice (10 minutes):
Play a recording of a conversation between students
discussing their favorite subjects. After listening, have students answer questions about the conversation to check
their comprehension.
Writing Task (15 minutes):
Ask students to write a short paragraph about their favorite subject, using the vocabulary and grammar points covered in
the lesson. They should include reasons why they like the subject and compare it to others.
Wrap-up (5 minutes):
Review the key points of the lesson and ask for volunteers to share their written paragraphs. Provide feedback and correct any mistakes.
Homework:
Assign a homework task where students write a short essay comparing and contrasting two school subjects, using the comparative and superlative forms of adjectives.
Assessment:
Assess students based on their participation in class activities, their written tasks, and their understanding of the grammar and vocabulary covered in the lesson.。
