I went strawberry picking last weekend with my family.
It was a fun experience and we were able to pick a lot of delicious strawberries. The strawberry farm we went to had rows and rows of strawberry plants, and we were given baskets to fill up with strawberries.
As we were picking, I noticed that some of the strawberries were bigger and juicier than others. I asked the farmer why this was, and he explained that it was because some of the plants were getting more sunlight and water than others. This made me realize that even in nature, some things are more privileged than others.
I also noticed that some of the strawberries were
harder to reach than others. My younger sister, who is shorter than me, had trouble reaching the strawberries on the higher branches. I helped her out by picking the ones
she couldn't reach. This made me realize that sometimes, we need to help others who are not as fortunate as us.
Overall, it was a great experience and I learned a lot about nature and helping others.
