My Summer Vacation

My Summer Vacation
Hi everyone! My name is Andy, and I am a primary school student. Today, I want to share with you all about my amazing summer vacation. It was the best summer ever!
During the summer break, my family and I went on a trip to Guangdong. Guangdong is a beautiful province in China with lots of interesting places to visit. We visited many cities like Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Zhuhai.
The first city we went to was Guangzhou. It's a big city with tall buildings and lots of delicious food. We went to the famous
Canton Tower and took a ride on its glass elevator. It was so exciting! We also visited Yuexiu Park, where we saw beautiful flowers and played games with other children. I even tried Cantonese food like dim sum and roasted goose. Yum!
Next, we went to Shenzhen, which is known as the "Silicon Valley of China." We visited some high-tech companies and learned about the latest gadgets and inventions. I was amazed to see robots and drones in action! We also went to Splendid China Folk Village, where we saw miniature replicas of famous landmarks from all over China. It felt like I was traveling the whole country in just one day.
The last city we visited was Zhuhai. It's a coastal city with beautiful beaches. We spent a whole day playing in the sand and swimming in the clear blue sea. I built sandcastles with my sister and had a sandcastle competition with other kids. It was so much fun! We also went to Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, one of the biggest aquariums in the world. I saw colorful fish, playful dolphins, and even scary sharks! It was like being in a different world.
Apart from visiting cities, we also explored the countryside of Guangdong. We went to a village called Kaiping, known for its unique Diaolou buildings. These are tall, fortified watchtowers
built by the locals in the olden days. I felt like I was in a fantasy movie! We also visited some orange orchards and picked fresh oranges. They were so juicy and sweet!
In the evenings, we enjoyed delicious Cantonese cuisine. I tried different kinds of dim sum, like shrimp dumplings and barbecue pork buns. I also had my favorite dessert, mango pudding. It was the perfect way to end each day.
I had such a great time during my summer vacation in Guangdong. I learned so much about the history and culture of the province. I made new friends and tried new things. It was an unforgettable experience!
Now that I'm back in school, I can't wait to share all my stories with my classmates. I hope one day they can also visit Guangdong and have as much fun as I did.
