As a student, I have experienced both living on campus and living off campus. Living on campus means staying in
the dormitory provided by the school, while living off campus means renting an apartment or house outside of the school.
Living on campus has its advantages. Firstly, it is convenient. Everything you need is within walking distance, such as the library, gym, and dining hall. Secondly, it is
a good way to meet new people and make friends. You can easily find someone who shares the same interests as you
and hang out together. Thirdly, it is safer. The school has security guards and cameras to ensure the safety of the students.
However, living off campus also has its benefits. Firstly, you have more freedom. You can cook your own meals,
decorate your own room, and come and go as you please. Secondly, it is usually cheaper. Renting an apartment or house can be more affordable than staying in a dormitory. Thirdly, it is quieter. You can have your own space and not be disturbed by noisy neighbors.
Personally, I prefer living off campus. I enjoy the freedom and privacy it offers. I can study and relax in my own space without being disturbed. However, I do miss the social aspect of living on campus sometimes. It was easier to meet new people and make friends when I lived in the dormitory.
