As an immigrant to Australia, I have had the opportunity to experience the education system here, particularly in regards to primary school. Overall, I have found the system to be quite different from what I was used to in my home country.

This is in contrast to my home country, where rote memorization and following instructions were the norm.

something that was not emphasized as much in my home country.
In terms of language learning, I have found that the immersion approach used in Australian schools has been very effective. By being surrounded by English all day, every day, I have been able to improve my language skills much more quickly than I would have otherwise.
Overall, I have found the education system in Australia to be very welcoming and supportive of immigrant students. Teachers and administrators are always willing to help and provide resources to ensure that all students have the opportunity to succeed.
