Unit 6 Lisa was laughing loudly
Lesson 1
一、教学目标
①知识目标:较好地掌握过去进行时态。

What were you doing? I was digging a hole.
②能力目标:初步掌握一般现在进行时与过去进行时的转换。

③情感目标:用过去进行时态表达简单的个人意愿。

二、教学重难点:掌握过去进行时态时间含义。

三、教学过程:
1. Review.
1) Place Picture Cards 9—16( from SB 4 Unit 2) on the board. For example: exercising, working, shouting, thinking etc. Ask Ss What are they doing? [Ss: He’s exercising. She’s shouting.]
2) Take picture cards off the board, ask one student to come up and pick one of the cards. Tell him/ her to act out what is on the card. T: What’s he/ she doing? [Ss: (S1’s name) is thinking.]
2. Presentation
Have Ss look at the pictures on the page.
(T Point to the first and second picture.) Who’s this ? [ Ss: It’s Gogo, Jenny, Ben and Lisa.] T: ( Point to the second picture.) What are they doing? [Ss: They are talking.]
T: Look at the third picture. Ben is digging. Let’s dig. Model digging. T: I’m digging. Repeat. [Ss: I’m digging.] T: OK, everyone. Sit down.
3. Listen and read.
T: Let’s listen to the tape.
1) Have Ss look at the page and point to each picture for Ss to follow. T: What’s Jenny doing? [ Ss: She’s talking.] T: What is Ben doing? [ Ss: He’s digging.] T: What is Lisa doing?[Ss: She’s laughing.] T: Let’s listen to the tape and read the story.
2) Play Ss into four groups and give them the roles of Jenny, Gogo, Ben and Lisa . Encourage groups to add voice expressions and actions.
4. Read and say
1) T: Listen to the tape and repeat. Point to each word as you say it.
2) Have Ss listen, repeat and point to each picture.
3) Play the tape again, and have Ss repeat each word.。
