1.Why do many graduates fail to find a job? How do they perceive the problem? Do you agree / disagree with them? What other factors do you think also contribute to their temporary unemployment?
Leader: Let’s talk about the first question.Why do many graduates fail to find a job?
A: Because they are not used to the new life that thoroughly different from the sheltered school env ironment. They haven’t been well prepared.
B: They are in aimless days and spend the summer “hiding”.
C: For example,my major is about running a company,but we have few chance to approach it.As a result,we have only study theory but no experience.
D:Becau se their expection to the job is so high that they don’t want to do these jobs like pub server.
E: Because they had just left the university with no work experience. But the big companies don't want a novice.他们才刚刚离开大学,没什么工作经验。
而大公司不想要新手。
Leader: So there are many reasons and how do students perceive the problem? Do you agree or disagree with them?
A: Most of them try hard to find a job to change the current situation. However, all roads lead to Rome. we should always try our best to lead our life. Tomorrow will be better, tomorrow is always better.
B: There is a big queue in the university careers serv ice but they straight back out and don’t have a try. And I don’t agree with them. Because the chance may be all around us . No try, no chance.
C: Some people realize their shortness and try every effort to meet the boss’s requirement. Those who realize their disadvantage and get progress through their efforts is good while those who only complain about others else is selfless and wrong.
D:They think there are not enough situable jobs that the society can provide with them.I don’t agree with them,either.
E: They think a low salary job doesn’t match their value. I disagree with them.他们觉得工资太低不符合他们的身价。
Leader: What other factors also contribute to their temporary unemployment?
A: They reach for what is beyond their grasp. They don’t realize who and where they are precisely.
B: They don’t have contacts or they can not use those rightly.
D:Parents are so tolerant and soft when they deal with their children’s unemployment.
E:Their parents are too rich so that they can live very well even without a job他们的父母太有钱了,以至于他们即便没有工作也可以过得很好。
2.According to the expert, what should parents do to address the problem? Which advice do you agree/disagree with? Do you have any other good suggestions?
A: Treat sympathetically after a job setback for a few days or even weeks. Parents must balance being positive and understanding with not making life too comfortable for their offspring.
B: Put limits on how much money you give them and carry on life as normal. I agree with the advice what I said.Because they must learn to be independent.Too comfortable life only makes them more lazy and give up finding jobs.
C: "The main job for the parents is to be there because if they start advising them what to do, that is when the conflict starts. If you have contacts, by all means use those.I totally agree because parents and kids have different ideas and kids become more sensitive when are upset.
D: Treat sympathetically after a job setback for a few days or even weeks.
After recovering the son or daughter needs to be nudged firmly back into the saddle.
E: Carry on life as normal and don’t allow them to abuse your bank account.I agree with all of those except for using contacts.
Because their children won’t get any experience about how to find a job through that.
Leader: Is there any other good suggestions?
A: Parents should believe in their offspring when they have their own opinions. And try to support them profitable.
B: Graduates can find some easy jobs firstly .Little by little ,they will strengthen their confidence and adapt the enviromemt of work.
D:When the hassle is difficult to deal with,just leave it alone and do something interesting to cheer up.
E: Sometimes, just look at and do nothing would be nice.

1.Did the girl have any ambition in life before graduation?
A:Yes.She would like to go on to get her master’s.
Why did she have to give it up and bow herself toward the inevitable?
B:Because her family couldn’t afford to support her any more .
C:Because she had financial problems and her family couldn’t support her to further study.
What did she find in the big wide world beyond her sheltered campus life?
D:Real life is not all it’s cracked up to be,there aren’t so many opportunities as teacher said.

E:Yes,first of all,the sustain of life is a challenging,and finding a job is hard.

B: Investing in people gives the best return you can even hope for.

A: maybe, Something unexpected may happen any time. You can expect what will happen.

1. In the passage “Danger! Books may change your life”, the author claims: “From the bedtime story read by
a parent to their child all the way through to the sitting room lined with books in our adult homes, books define our lives.” What do you understand by “books define our lives”? Do you agree or disagree?
A: I can’t agree more with the writer. We need to grow by reading
different books. we are educated to read many books that are good
for our health in school ,in this way can we become a better person.
B: I disagree with this view.If you ask me,although we started to read books at an early age,we have our own principle to life.Readi ng more books can’t mean that books define our lives,but means that we have more ideas to solve problems than those who don’t read books.
C: I am in favour of the writer’s view.We have studied for many years and the books are always with us.It taught us a lot.
D: Book can make us enter a wonderand,and observe life from different perspectives. I agree with it ,we may travel around the globe to countries and cultures that we never dream of visiting by reading books.
E: I agree with this view. Since the childhood, we read the book which we like and we like what we read. These books have a great influence on the outlooks we established, so the book defines our life. 我同意作者的观点。

A: Of course, I can’t live my efficient life without computer and the internet.

1. In the passage “They were alive and they spoke to me.” Why does the author su ggest resisting your impulses and not opening a book as soon as you get it?
A: There are countless books in the world, but our time is limited. Thus, we should calm down and choice the right one that worth to read.
B: Because the author think that we should read as little as possible not as much as possible.What is important in reading isn’t quantity but what we are thinking.So the book you got it just now may be not necessary to be read.
C: In many times we read a book just because of our inner curiosity and impulse.After finishing reading it,we will find that it is boring and form of wasting time.However,if we can manage to resist our impulse before opening it,we can avoid these troubles.

A: Hemingway’s novel, like The old man and the sea. It shows a real man to me. It’s so vivid that it seems that he is talking to me, and moving in front of me.
B: Aesop's Fables(伊索寓言) is my favorite book and I think it is unique.Many fables in this book can teach me how to behave and how to be a wise person.I believe that this book is a precious wealth of human.
C: Martial arts novels(武侠小说)written by JinYong.The rich imagination of JinYong impress me a lot.Every character in his novel is vivid,leading me to a new exciting world.I enjoy reading his books very much.
D: A series of Harry Potter are my favorite books. The wizarding world in the book made me diresable.I can’t image that people can fly in the sky by riding a broom!It’s almost amazing!Reading these books can broaden my horizon and enrich my childhood.What’s more,the friendship between Harry and his friends also made me trust that there are still having pure love in the world.I do regret if I don’t read this book any more!
E: The book,《Toyotomi Hideyoshi》is my favorite book. It tells the story of a legend —— hideyoshi in Japan's Warring States Period. He turned into the leader of Japan from a humble farmer. His story has inspired me to strive.

A: I think one of the constant factors in relation to fashion is leopard(豹纹),because it is the symbol of cool style or sweet.jeans is also a constant factor,and there are a large amout of people have a passion for jeans because of its convenience.
B: I think spot and lace are the constant factors in relation to fashion because spot and lace are girls’ favorite factors forever。
I think Girl’s favor have an important influence on the trend of fashion.
C: They all talk about the aspects of dressing,and i think fashion must be related to something new and creative,which is one of the constant factors.Vintage Style(复古风)is also loved by people,and there are different contents of vintage style,but all the forms of vintage is in connection with fashion in that time。

And it was also related to fashion。
It led to the change of chinese dress and gave birth to some new forms of clothes such as Chinese tunic suit(中山装)。
C: I heared of th new negro cultural movement.In the 1920s,the New Negro Cultural Movement occurred in Harlem,New York,the new black intellectuals acted as the pioneers.many literary works appeared in that time such as Afro American Fragment and so on,which expressed the negro’s spirit of struggle.
