摘要：PURPOSE:To prolong the lifetime of a xenon discharge tube and to call driver's attention by providing the xenon discharge tube and other light emitting bodies in a strobe of a speed shooting system of a car and by combinationally using them. CONSTITUTION:A measurement system consists of speed detector 10 of car 1, camera 11 arranged at the front of car 1 so at to photograph a driver and operated depending upon the detection speed, and strobe 13 synchronizing with a shutter of the camera. Then, detector 14 is provided which detects daytime lightness around the system arrangement position and strobe 13 is provided with xenon discharge tube 29 and other light emitting bodies 31 and 32. When lightness of surroundings is above a certain value, light emitting bodies 31 and 32 are made to flash synchronizing with the shutter and when below, discharge tube 29 is made to flash synchronizing with the shutter.
