Step II Lead in
Ask students whether or not they want to have a pet dog at home. And show a picture of a pet dog, Let them be the dog’s master and ask them to look after the dog.
Do you want to have a pet dog at your home?
Now you are the dog’s master.
You must look after the dog.
☆master n. 主人
e.g. The dog runs to its master.
那狗向它主人跑去。

☆look after意为“照看,照顾”,后接名词或代词。

e.g. Please look after my cat.
请照看一下我的猫。

My mother is ill. I have to look after her. 我妈妈生病了,我得照顾她。

1. hello是人们见面时常用的问候语,有时为了引起对方注意也用hello, 意为

hi可与之互换,不过,hi比hello更常用,显得更亲近、随和。

它们都用于口语,使用时不受时间的限制。

英美人一般在打招呼时,也说称呼语。

如:Hi, Dale! 喂,戴尔!
需要大家注意的是,在打电话时,多用hello,而很少用hi。

另外,还要注意的是,对老师、上级、年长者以及有身份地位的人打招呼时,一般不用hello 或hi,以免对其不尊重。

reading由动词read后加-ing构成,作名词,意为“阅读”。

动词加ing成为名词,类似的单词有
dance (跳舞) – dancing (舞蹈)
swim – swimming (游泳)
draw – drawing (画画)
walk (散步) – walking (步行)
sing (唱歌) –singing (唱歌)
say (说) –saying (言语;格言)
shop (购物) –shopping (购物)
run (跑步) – running (跑步)
2. She likes music.
likes是like的第三人称单数形式。

be from来自……什么地方
e.g. I am from Wuxi. 我来自无锡。

4. He is good at Maths.
be good at意为“擅长,精通”。

be good at 后通常接名词或v-ing形式作宾语。

此外,这个短语中的be的形式要和主语的人称和数保持一致。

e.g. I am good at Chinese. 我语文学得好。

Linda is good at singing. 琳达歌唱的好。

【链接】be good at和do well in意思相近,可以互换使用。

例如:
Jin Jie is good at singing English songs.
= Jin Jie does well in singing English songs.
金洁擅长唱英文歌。

Step I Presentation
1. Tell students today we’ll learn the simple present tense of the verb to be. (be动词
一般现在时)
2. Ask students to look at some sentences and find the rules of simple present tense. ★描述客观事实
I am a student.
I am from China.
我来自中国。

★描述目前的事实
Sandy is my classmate.
She is 12 years old. 她十二岁。

★描述现在的状态
We are in class 1.
We are very happy. 我们非常高兴。

Step II Grammar
1. 学习一般现在时的基本概念。

一般现在时表示现在发生的动作或存在的状态,也可表示经常性或习惯性的动作、真理或客观事实等。

2. 学习动词to be的三种形式:am, is, are。

I am a student of Class 2, Grade 7.
我是七年级二班的一名学生。

Mimi is a cute cat. 咪咪是一只可爱的猫。

We are good friends at school.
我们在学校是好朋友。

You are always so kind. 你总是这么热心。

be 动词的一般现在时形式有三种:____________。

be动词用法口诀:
我(I)用am ,
你(you) 用are,
is用于他(he)、她(she)、它(it),
复数人称都用are。

如果主语是代词,动词be与前面主语在一起时,在非正式行文中可以缩写。

e.g. I am = I’m You are = You’re
She is = She’s He is = He’s
It is = It’s We are = We’re
They are = They’re
2.学习动词to be的一般现在时肯定句、否定句、疑问句及其肯定和否定回答形
式。

be动词一般现在时的三种句式
★肯定句式:主语+ be + 其他.
Mike __ from England. 麦克来自英国。

★否定句式:主语+ be + not + 其他.
He Jie’s father ______ a doctor.
何杰的父亲不是医生。

【注意】am和not不能合在一起缩写,is和not可缩写成isn’t,are和not可缩写成aren’t。

be动词一般现在时的否定句是在be后面加not构成。

动词be与not可以缩写,如:is not = isn’t; are not = aren’t。

be动词一般现在时的一般疑问句是将be提前于句首构成。

★一般疑问句式:Be +主语+ 其他?
肯定回答:Yes, 主语+ be.
否定回答:No, 主语+ be not.
—Are those boys in the playground?
那些男孩在操场上吗?
—Yes, ________. / No, ___________.
是的,他们在。

/ 不,他们不在。

1. 将下列句子变成:
(1) 一般疑问句并作肯定和否定回答;
