About the spirit of criticism
Someone once said that the spirit of criticism is the shining spark that calls for progress, which proves that at least we have not sunk; the spirit of criticism is the sacred light that pursues truth, which proves that at least we have not fallen; the spirit of criticism is the fervent aspiration for the future, which proves that at least we have not despaired.
If the problem is the cry of the times, then criticism is the response to this cry. At the epistemological level, critique is the logical starting point for understanding problems; from the methodological perspective, critique provides an opportunity to solve problems and promote progress. However, does the spirit of criticism alone clarify the chaotic world and solve the numerous problems?
Going further than criticism, Feuerbach contributed the ideological weapon of materialism, and Copernicus sketched out the real picture of the operation of the solar system. The attitude of the Chinese Communists was clearly stated by Mao Zedong: "We are not only good at destroying an old world, but we will also be good at building a new one".
Such an attitude is the attitude of dialectical materialists as well as that of historical materialists. In their eyes, the force that drives history forward is not the cynicism of staying out of the way, nor the emotional venting of the painful moment, but the unity of the opposites of
breaking and standing, the complementarity of criticism and construction. They know that when the spirit of criticism is alienated into "criticism for the sake of criticism", indiscriminately denying yesterday, despising today and doubting tomorrow, the result is only to fall into historical nothingness: nothing yesterday, nothing today, nothing tomorrow.
The 1.3 billion people of China, the rapid development of the transition period, there are problems, even a lot of problems, are more than normal. Compared to solving problems, it is not difficult to be a "critic", compared to the ideal, the reality of the shortcomings are overwhelming. It is even easier to be a "cynic". However, complex contradictions do not naturally disappear because of criticism, and social justice does not automatically materialize because of criticism.
Criticism is a shortcut to a sense of justice and an excellent way to manifest a sense of existence, but the responsibility of history does not allow us to be satisfied with moral racing. China's progress requires not only the judgment of "whether it is good" and "whether it should be", but also the search of "whether it can be done" and "whether it can be done". The search for "can" and "can't" is also needed. The reform of the system, the improvement of the society, the improvement of the people's hearts and minds, all of us need to work together. When scourging the darkness, light the candle; when scorning greed, refuse the same stream;

The times not only need deconstruction, but also need construction. Don't keep the freedom to criticize to yourself, but give the right to create to others. The wilderness of history is so vast that as a member of the times, you can plant flowers and leave fragrance, and plant trees and leave coolness. Be not only a critic, but also a builder.
