Drilling engineering can be classified based on the type of well being drilled, including vertical, developed, and horizontal wells
It can be divided into roller cone bits, fixed cutter bits and polycrystalline diamond compact bits according to different working mechanisms

Drilling activity
The drilling contractor will employ a tool-pusher （钻井主管 also called superintendent）to be in overall charge of the rig. He is responsible for all rig floor activities and liaises（保持联系） with the company man to ensure progress is satisfactory. The manual activities associated with drilling the well are conducted by the drilling crew. Since drilling continues 24 hours a day, there are usually 2 drilling crews. 在钻井过程中，录取有关资料是不可缺少的，在钻
进过程中，不应该忽略任何的数据采集。在钻进过 程中主要的数据来源是：钻井记录、泥浆录井、随 钻（MWD）测试。 1.钻井录井 钻井录井是一项最为直接的资料，特别是当其它参 数（如钻压、钻头速度和泥浆密度）为常数的情况 下，机械钻速更为重要。 2.泥浆录井 泥浆录井主要用色谱分析和酸性气体（H2S）检测 仪对从循环泥浆中提取的气体进行连续分析。

首先将油管下至油层顶部，装好采油树和防喷管， 射孔枪和电缆接头装入防喷管内，准备就绪后，打 开清腊阀门，通过油管用电缆送射孔枪下出油管 鞋，用电缆接头上的磁定位器测出断套管位置，点 火射孔。
