Step 1 Lead in (导入环节)上课伊始,我播放热映动画电影《疯狂动物城》的主题曲Try everything,让学生兴奋起来,并将学生的注意力集中,使他们情绪饱满地投入新课学习。

并激励孩子在课上要trytheir best.随后,我截取电影中的2个片段,让学生进行配音表演,锻炼他们的语言模仿和表达能力。

表演后,询问其中两个角色的性格特点.What do you think of the sloth (树懒)? Whatdo you think of the rabbit ? 一方面是为了让学生回忆起上节课学习的关于描述动物特征的英语表达,复习一些描述性的形容词。

另一方面是为即将要讲的内容做情感和知识铺垫。

Step 2 Pre-reading (读前环节)1. 通过插图,抓住文章的核心首先,呈现课文2b的插图,询问What are they talking about in this article? 启发学生通过插图抓住文章的核心。

然后通过一张幻灯片,对大象的外貌,性格,特点等进行描述.增进了学生对大象这种动物和它的生活习性的了解。

同时引出词语remember,water,places with food and water.为学生理解课文内容扫清障碍。

2. 通过标题的选取,预测文章的内容和主旨让学生关注课文的标题,指出标题通常揭示文章大意。

并提供四个备选题目,让学生做出判断。
