如何培养和提高学生的英语书面表达能力,笔者进行了有益的尝试。

一、从小处着手,循序渐进提高表达能力规范的大小写、标点符号和整洁的卷面是书面表达的基本要求,要让学生加以重视。

这是培养学生严谨的学习态度的一个方法。

单词是构成句子的基本单位。

单词的拼写和用法是学生学习的重点。

不少老师忽视单词的教法,缺少指导学生如何记忆单词。

这也是学生英语学得不好的主要原因。

部分高中学生记忆单词的方法还停留在初一那种"顺口读"的水平。

初学英语时,单词少而短,学生通过拼读字母的方法记忆单词,如 bus 读 B - U - Sbus ,coffee ,读 C - O - F - F - E - Ecof - fee 。

高中英语单词长了,字母多了,用这种方法记忆单词肯定事倍功半。

如 perseverance ,读了不知多少遍 P - e - r - s - e - v - e - r - a - n - c -e ,还是记不住,或很快就忘了。

老师没有指导学生用更科学的方法记忆单词,学生觉得单词很难记住,准确率也不高。

高一学生,来自不同的学校,在开学之初,老师要花点时间教导学生如何记忆单词。

利用音标、音节的方法是比较有效的。

初中学过的开音节、闭音节、字母组合发音等规则对记忆单词是很有效的。

不少学生知道 make , we , he , bite , use 是开音节单词,pen , map , dig , hot , but 是闭音节单词,却不知道 pupil 中的 pu 是开音节, hospi - tal 中的 hos 是闭音节。

浅析如何提高学生英文书面表达团风县总路咀高级中学黄攀书面表达是中学英语教学的重要组成部份,是查验学生书面交际能力的一个重要途径,也是学生英语综合能力的表现。

只要勤奋学习英语语言,勤于英文写作实践,人人都能在规定的时刻内按要求写出优秀的英文短文。

作为英语教师,我以为应从以下五个方面指导学生,进行教学实践。

一抓好讲义教学,夯实英语基础。

学生的要紧学习时刻是课堂学习时刻。

学生的要紧知识来源于讲义,讲义是学生学习的全然。

讲义给学生提供大体的句型,语法知识,辞汇等。

中学英语讲义内容均属精读内容,学生应把讲义中的知识学透记熟。

讲义中的许多句型需要学生记熟。

在学习每一课的时候,教师引导学生把其中的重点句型找出来,通过反复练习,熟记于心。

讲义中的课文需要学生背熟,熟背课文有很多益处:1熟背课文有利于对课文内容的明白得。

每篇课文都是一个整体,前后呼应。

学生通过反复阅读课文后,不仅对每句话有更好的明白得,对整篇文章的内容也有更好的明白得。

书读百遍,其意自见嘛。

2熟背课文有利于巩固课文知识。

反复通读,随着对课文的进一步明白得,对课文的巩固也在继续。

课文背得越熟,便明白得得越深刻,知识就巩固得越好。

一个学期只有十几篇课文,咱们有什么理由不让学生背熟这些课文呢?平均半个月一篇课文,学生有什么理由不背熟课文呢?熟背课文后,学生会从中取得成功的体验,会对学生产生专门大的鼓舞,鼓励学生进一步学生英语。

3熟背课文能增强英语语感。

英语跟汉语属于不同的语系,英语属于印欧语系,汉语属于汉藏语系。

不管在语法结构上,仍是在表达适应上都有专门大的不同。

通过背诵课文,学生能增强英语语感。

语感确实是人们对某种语言的感性熟悉。

凭着语动人们能够流畅地进行交流,运用语言。

正确的英语语感不仅能帮忙学生正确的阅读文章,明白得文意,也能帮忙学生准确地写作。

4熟背课文有利于学生写作。

中学生擅长仿照,通过背诵课文,一些句子就会在学生心中生根发芽,学生就会成心无心地仿照如此的句子进行写作。

在考试中最常见的形式是要求学生根据所给信息(information)和思想(idea)来作文,亦称为"情景作文"或"提示作文",而学生对于语言要素综合应用的能力较弱,写出的东西往往是不符合英语表达习惯的"中文式英语"。

作为一名英语教师,就必须经常提醒学生注意这一问题,有意识地让学生逐步接受英语表达的思维方式,久而久之学生才能写出比较地道的英语,少犯甚至不犯Chinese English 的错误。

故书面表达训练从初二下学期就应开始,并逐步强化提高,最终达到应考要求。

在此就自己日常教学中的经验浅谈如何提高中学生英语写作能力,最终达到"All roads lead to Rome "的目的。

一、掌握写作技能,知道该怎样动手。

写作和其他笔头练习,如造句、填空、改错等有根本的区别。

写作要求表达清楚而完整的思想,主要目的是提高学生用英语表达思想的能力,写作涉及的问题很多,除了语言各方面的问题外,还有思想内容和所用材料、组织条理、书写格式等,都需要仔细考虑,认真对待。

1、掌握各种体裁文章格式(1)记叙文(Narration)这是最普遍、最基本的一种文体。

写作中应遵循以下几点。

〈1〉交待要素,即人、时、地、事。

〈2〉按事件发生的先后顺序叙述完整、具体。

〈3〉要重点突出,目的明确。

记叙文所记的都是过去发生的事,原则上通常用过去时态写。

(2)说明文(Exposition)、描写文(Description)这是英文常见的两种文体,以解说和描述为主要表达方式。

我们的中学里(美国人管中学叫high school,junior high相当于我国的初中,senior high相当于我国的高中),语文教师教
学生写作文,有严格的套路。

第一段必须开门见山,紧扣题目。

随后各段展开,从正、反两方面去论述,最后一段是结论,再回到第一段提出的主题。

用美国人的说法叫做:introduce,develop,sum up.每一段落本身,也得按一定路数来写。

这样的作文套路,几乎成了一种定式。

我们中国学生写作文,自古以来也有一个固定的套路,叫做:起、承、转、合。

文章的第一段是起,就是破题,把题目的要旨点出。

然后,文章的第二局部是承,用一段或数段文字,通过正面的事例或论点,支承你在破题段落中说明的根本观点。

文章的第三局部,树一个对立面,然后对反面的观点加以批驳。

问:相对而言,中学生的英文水平还比较有限,他们在练习写作方面
应当注意些什么问题?
陈琳教授:我想主要有三点:
一是宁用小字不用大字,少用外来语,如源自拉丁语、法语的单词,
尽可能用英语的固有词汇,用 general 一点的词。

譬如在通常情况下,最好用leave 而不用 depart ,当然这也不是绝对的,飞机12点起飞Theflightdepartsatl 2.就很贴切。

适当使用一些形容词、副词作修饰语很重要,否则文章容易显得枯燥,但是如果堆砌辞藻,使用一些空洞、不能真正说
明问题的修饰语,那只能让人感觉不着边际,还不如用一些自己比较熟悉的、
具象的词汇来描写,这样反而更真实、更亲切,更能打动人。

二是不要过分拘泥于书面体与口语体的区别,中学生基本上还处于习
作阶段,客观上也还难以把握各种文体之间的界限;而且由于中学生的词汇和
阅读量都还有限,如果过分强调这一点,往往会使自己缚手缚脚,影响表达的
流畅。

句子结构上,最好以简单句为主,少用长句和各类从句。

如比赛要求的
散文体尤其不要追求书面化,要写得抒情、亲切,让读者感觉文章像讲话一样
娓娓道来。

最后,切记文章一定要简洁。
