My first part-time job

My first part-time job

My first part-time jobThere are so many unforgettable memories which gave me vivid lessons.Among them,it was my first part-time job that impressed me most .We have a summer holiday, which is longer than the others. Most of my classmates were plan to find a part-time job in order to kill the boring time while we got the news. So it was the same with me, of course. I've been itching to take the part-time job when I was in the junior high school, more for getting some value experiences than for money. Because lots of my friends have works experiences and have a more independent life. They are willing to share their interesting work experiences with me. In the work life, they told me how happy they got and how many difficulties they met; they would try to do something on their own. Then,I know part-time practices made them more stronger and go easy on something afterward. I felt somehow ashamed of myself ,I like to be independent, but it is difficult for me. I live under my parents' wings, then hide mine. My parents arrange everything for me,let me depend on them for food、clothing and even anything.I know I can't go on like this. If I couldn't get rid of the protect from them ,I can't be independent and never.Their love will cut my wings. For this reason, and fortunately ,I found a job from a market manager , to send out leaflets. send out leaflets? I am a student and a man! why? Why was I arranged to do that ? However ,on another day, a new idea occured in my mind . I saw some students sending out leaflets lightly . What is more ,it is so normal to do that. then, I got my balance in my heart, expecting the working day happily. The day came with my expectations, but the work was hard more I could imagine. I held 2000 leaflets ,which meaned I had to go to almost 200 families. It is amazing !I had a little complaint ,but I did my best to persuade myself to begin my work, also, with great excitement. So, I ascended and descended stairs as quick as I could ,expecting to finish my task, but the earlier I wanted to end ,the more tired I felt .The leaflets in my hand seemed not to decrease. I felt my legs as heavy as lead.seeing the watch ,it is half past eleven .God,I wanted to sleep ,I wanted to have meals .I felt so tired !But I had to do them all, I had the responsibility to finish my job. I had no choices now .Fatigued, I sent out leaflets to every family in the street, one by one ,little by little,I finished my task. At this moment ,I felt quite pleased in my deep heat while weary in the body. In the following days, I worked as the first day,and even work harder than before. In this summer, I also did some other work sush as the waiter. At last,I finally finished my summer vacation work.In the twinkling of an eye, my first unusual summer holiday was over. I just wanted to say, thank you! My unforgettable part-time job. When I took the first salary of my life, I earned more than 100 yuan. I know it's very difficult to make money. All in all, my firstsummer work life was over, I learned lots of things. That's meaningful. As I look back, scenes of the past leap before my eyes. Once there are chances for me .I will try it heart and soul. Now, I know, so opportunities for people who only come prepared. Only have experienced sth can we have the real meaning of it. from sending out leaflets, I have learned a lot. Also, it would be one of the most precious memories in my following life.。

第一次兼职英语作文My First Part-Time Job。

When I was in high school, I decided to take on myfirst part-time job. I was excited about the idea of having my own money and gaining some work experience. After searching for a while, I finally found a job at a local coffee shop.On my first day, I was nervous and unsure of what to expect. The manager, a friendly woman named Sarah, greeted me warmly and showed me around the shop. She explained the tasks I would be responsible for, such as taking orders, making coffee, and cleaning the shop. I was a bit overwhelmed at first, but Sarah assured me that I would catch on quickly. As the days went by, I grew more comfortable in my role.I learned how to operate the coffee machine, make different types of coffee drinks, and interact with customers. I alsobecame more efficient at handling the cash register and keeping the shop clean and organized. One of the most challenging aspects of the job was dealing with difficult customers. There were times when customers would complain about their orders or become impatient during busy hours. However, I learned to handle these situations with patience and professionalism, and I always made sure to resolve any issues to the best of my ability.Working at the coffee shop also taught me the value of teamwork. My coworkers and I had to communicate and coordinate our tasks to ensure that everything ran smoothly. We supported each other during busy periods and always had each other's backs. In addition to the practical skills I gained, my part-time job also helped me develop important qualities such as responsibility, time management, and customer service. I learned the importance of being punctual and reliable, andI always made sure to prioritize my work commitmentsalongside my school responsibilities.Overall, my first part-time job was a valuable experience that taught me a lot about the working world. I gained skills that will be useful in any future job, and I also learned the importance of hard work and dedication. I am grateful for the opportunity to have had this experience, and I look forward to applying what I have learned in my future endeavors.。

我的看法关于大学生兼职英语作文

我的看法关于大学生兼职英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Views on College Students Working Part-TimeHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm a 5th grader. My big sister Emily is a college student and she has a part-time job. I want to share my thoughts about college kids working while going to school.First of all, I think it's really cool that Emily has a job! She works at the campus bookstore a few days a week. Having a job teaches you important life skills like responsibility, time management, and money smarts. Emily has to wake up early, get to work on time, and do all her tasks properly. If she goofs off, she could get fired! So a job forces you to be a hard worker.Emily also gets to practice her people skills at her job. She has to be friendly and helpful to customers, which are good social abilities to have. Talking to different people every day makes you better at communicating. That's an important talent for any career.Another reason I like Emily's job is because she earns her own money! Our parents give us a small allowance, but Emily makes way more from her bookstore paychecks. She can pay for her clothes, school supplies, entertainment, and even some food and gas for her car. Having a job makes you independent and not just relying on your parents all the time. With her job income, Emily is also saving up money for after she graduates college. She won't have huge student loans to pay back like some people. Getting an early start on saving is very smart. Plus, she can use that money to move out, get an apartment, buy a car, or whatever she needs when starting her grown-up life. Making money in college gives you a head start on being a financially responsible adult.Of course, having a part-time job isn't all fun and easy. Emily has to carefully schedule her work hours around her classes and study time. Sometimes she's super tired after a long shift followed by lots of homework. It's a challenge to find the right balance between job, school, and free time. You have to be really organized and treat your job, classes, and stuff like clubs and sports as your top priorities.I've also noticed Emily sometimes gets stressed out when things get really hectic with midterm exams, work schedulechanges, and other unexpected stuff all at once. It can be overwhelming trying to juggle so many responsibilities and commitments. Taking on too much can make you anxious and run down. So having a part-time job forces college kids to manage their time wisely and know their limits. But despite those downsides, I still think working while in college is an excellent idea overall. Sure, it adds extra stress and time commitments to an already busy life. But in my opinion, the benefits of gaining real-world work experience, making your own money, and learning crucial life skills definitely outweigh the negatives.Emily says her job experience has taught her so much beyond just earning a paycheck. She's become a greatmulti-tasker and problem-solver. She better understands the importance of professionalism, customer service, and being a team player. Emily developed amazing organization abilities to handle all her job, class, and activity obligations. These are priceless life lessons you can't really learn from just going to school.I'm really proud of my big sis for working so hard and being so driven and responsible. She's getting a head start on becoming a successful adult. I look up to Emily and can't waituntil I'm old enough for my first part-time job too! Then maybe I'll truly understand the challenges of being a working college student. But based on Emily's experience, I think every college kid should at least try having a part-time job if possible.Well, that's my take on why it's awesome for college students to work while in school. Making that choice isn't easy, but the benefits are fantastic. You learn job skills, money management, and how to be a focused, hard-working grown-up. Those are some of the most important lessons you can get as a young adult. So good luck to all you college kids out there balancing jobs with classes! I'll be joining those working ranks before too long.篇2My Opinion on College Students Having Part-Time JobsHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you what I think about college kids having jobs while they are still students. My big sister Jenny is in college and she has a part-time job too. Let me explain why I think it's a good idea for college students to work!First of all, having a job helps college students earn their own money. My parents always tell me that earning your own moneyis really important. It teaches you to be responsible and independent. College is expensive with all the fees for classes, books, housing, and food. By working a job, students can pay for some of those costs themselves instead of always asking their parents for money. Jenny works at the campus bookstore a few days a week and uses her paycheck for gas, her cellphone bill, and going out with friends sometimes. She doesn't have to ask my parents for as much money anymore.Another reason I think it's good for college students to have jobs is because it teaches them useful skills for the future. Jobs require things like showing up on time, speaking politely to customers, solving problems, and working as part of a team. Practicing those kinds of abilities while in college can prepare students for bigger career jobs after graduation. My sister has learned how to use the cash register system and handle inventory at her bookstore job. Those are skills she can put on her resume when she applies for other jobs later on. Her boss also said she has become a lot more confident talking to people after doing customer service. However, the biggest reason I support college students working is because it gives them amazing time management experience. College involves a lot of classes, homework, studying, activities, and socializing. Adding a part-time job on top of that means students must plan out their schedule extremely carefully. They have to make sure they don't overcommit and get overwhelmed. My sister struggled with balancing everything at first. But she got better at using a calendar, setting priorities, and cutting out distractions. Practicing time management in college can help students develop habits for success in demanding career jobs someday.Of course, there are some negatives to college students working too. If they take on too many hours at their job, it can start affecting their grades. My sister had to cut back her work schedule during finals week so she could focus more on studying. It's also possible a job could make students too tired or stressed out. My mom worries sometimes that Jenny doesn't get enough sleep. Fortunately, most college jobs let students make their own hours and work around their class times. As long as students are careful not to overdo it, the benefits of working outweigh the drawbacks. In conclusion, I believe it is a terrific idea for college students to have part-time jobs, as long as they are smart about it. Working teaches independence, useful career skills, and amazing time management abilities. Those are all incredibly valuablelessons that will help students become successful adults after college. Of course, their main priority should still be their classes and grades. But a part-time job alongside that can make college students even more prepared for the real world!篇3My Thoughts on College Students Having Part-Time JobsHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to share my thoughts about college students havingpart-time jobs while they are students. This is something I've been thinking a lot about lately. You see, my oldest brother Jake just started college this year. He's 18 and going to State University which is a couple hours away from our house. Jake has always been a hard worker. In high school, he played football, was in the drama club, and worked a few hours a week at the grocery store bagging groceries. Now that he's in college, he decided to get a part-time job again to help pay for some of his expenses. At first, my parents weren't sure if Jake should work while in college. They were worried it might distract him from his studies and make it hard to keep his grades up. But Jake convinced themthat having a job would teach him responsibility and time management skills. I tend to agree with Jake on this one.In my opinion, I think it's a good idea for college students to have part-time jobs for a few reasons. First of all, having a job helps teach important life skills that students will need after graduation. Things like showing up on time, working together as part of a team, and managing your time wisely are all skills you can learn from having a job. These are skills that can help you be successful in your career later on.Another reason I think college students should work is to earn spending money. College is expensive with tuition, room and board, books, and all sorts of other costs. Having a part-time job can provide income to pay for entertainment, clothes, food, and other fun things. That way, students don't have to always ask their parents for money. My brother Jake likes being more independent and paying for some of his own stuff with his job money.Additionally, having a job looks really good on a resume. Future employers like to see that applicants have work experience, even if it was just a part-time job in college. It shows you know how to commit to something and be responsible. Mydad says Jake's grocery store experience definitely helped him get his first big job after graduating.Of course, there are some potential downsides to working while in college too. Having a job does take up quite a bit of time that could otherwise be spent studying, hanging out with friends, joining clubs, or other activities. If students work too many hours, it could negatively impact their grades or cause burn out from being too busy. That's why I think it's important to only work a reasonable number of hours, like 10-15 per week. Some people also argue that students from wealthier families don't necessarily need to work while in college since their parents can afford to pay for everything. While this might be true, I still think working offers valuable experiences that are worth it regardless of how much money your family has. Being employed teaches you lessons that just can't be learned in a classroom. My brother seems to be striking a good balance so far between his job, classes, and having a social life. He works about 12 hours per week at the campus bookstore stocking shelves. He says the job isn't too hard and the hours are flexible enough to work around his class schedule. Jake has made some new friends at work too which is a bonus!Overall, while working as a college student requires juggling priorities, I believe the benefits of having a part-time job outweigh the drawbacks for most students. A job provides spending money, valuable experience for the future, and important life skills beyond what can be learned through classes alone. Of course, students do need to be cautious about not taking on too many work hours that could hurt their academic performance. But in my opinion, a well-balanced approach that includes a modest part-time job alongside academics and a social life can be a very positive experience. Those are my thoughts as a 10-year-old on the topic of college students working part-time jobs! I'm sure as I get older and closer to college age myself, my perspective may evolve. But for now, I think having a job in college, as long as it's not too many hours, is a great way to earn money, gain real-world experience, and prepare for life after graduation. What do you think about college students working? I'd love to hear your thoughts!篇4My Opinion About College Students Having Part-Time JobsWow, you want to know what I think about college kids having part-time jobs? That's a big topic for a little kid like me! But I'll give it a shot and tell you what's on my mind.First of all, I think it's really cool that college students can work while they're studying. When I grow up, I want to be able to do that too! It seems like a good way to learn responsibility and time management. My parents are always telling me how important those things are.At the same time, I can understand why it might be hard for college students to balance a job and their schoolwork. College is already a huge step up from elementary school in terms of how much studying you have to do. I can't even imagine how much harder it must be with a part-time job on top of that! I get tired just thinking about it.Maybe that's why some college students choose to work - to pay for things like books, food, rent, and fun stuff to do. I know my parents have to work really hard to be able to afford to give me and my siblings what we need. It's probably even harder for college kids who are just starting out on their own without mom and dad's help all the time.Although, now that I think about it, couldn't college students get money from scholarships and student loans instead ofworking? That way they could just focus on their classes. But then again, I guess some people don't like being in debt after they graduate. My dad is always complaining about how much student loans he had to pay back. It's all so confusing! If I had to take a side, I suppose I would say that having a part-time job as a college student is a good idea overall. Yeah, it adds a lot of stress and time pressure. But it teaches you skills that will help you out later in life when you need to get a career job. Things like showing up on time, talking to customers or coworkers properly, and managing your schedule. If you can juggle a job and tough college classes at the same time, it proves you have a good work ethic.Plus, you get to make a little bit of spending money instead of constantly asking mom and dad for cash! I mean, I would love to be able to buy video games, candy, and toys with money I earned myself rather than begging my parents all the time. Wouldn't you?At the end of the day, it's up to each individual college student to decide if a part-time job is right for them or not. Some people might be OK with the extra workload and financial freedom. Others might want to take it easier and fully devote themselves to just their studies.Personally though, if I make it to college someday, I think I'll probably try to at least get a little part-time gig working a few hours a week. It could be something fun like working at a movie theater, video game store, or ice cream shop! That way I get a little taste of the working world while still leaving plenty of time for my schoolwork, friends, and hobbies. But who knows, by the time I'm college-aged, maybe some of the rules will be different. The adults will figure that kind of stuff out, I guess. For now, I should just focus on doing well in elementary school so I have a shot at making it to college in the first place! Though I do hope they'll let kids my age work simple jobs someday too. A boy can dream, right?Anyway, that's what I think about college kids with part-time jobs. Let me know if you agree or disagree with my perspective! I'm just a fourth grader trying to make sense of the grown-up world the best I can. Sometimes us kids can see things a little more simply though. At least I hope I was able to clearly share my opinion with you, even if it's not a perfect essay. Thanks for letting me practice my writing!篇5My Thoughts on College Kids Having Jobs on the SideHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. I'm in the 5th grade and I love sports, video games, and making silly jokes with my friends. My big sister just started college this year and I've been thinking a lot about her life lately. She has thispart-time job at a restaurant and I'm not sure if I think it's a good idea or not for college kids to be working while they're trying to study and go to classes and all that stuff. On one hand, having a job seems like it would be really hard for a college student. They already have so much homework and studying to do, not to mention trying to fit in time to hang out with friends and join clubs and sports teams. Adding a part-time job on top of that seems like way too much! I can barely handle my homework some nights, so I can't imagine also having to go to work after a long day of classes. It just seems too stressful and overwhelming. My sister often looks really tired when she comes home from her restaurant job super late at night. She has to wake up early for classes the next morning too. I don't know how she does it! I need way more sleep than she's getting. If I was that tired all the time, I would be falling asleep in class and probably failing all my tests. So in that way, having a job seems like it could really hurt acollege student's grades and make it hard for them to perform their best at school. But then again, my sister seems to get a lot out of her job too. For one thing, she's earning her own money which I think is pretty cool. She doesn't have to ask our parents for cash as much anymore to go to the movies with friends or buy new video games and clothes and stuff. Having her own income must make her feel really independent and grown-up. I can't wait until I'm old enough to get my first job!My sister has also learned a ton of responsibilityskills from her part-time job. She's gotten way better at time management - writing out schedules, using a calendar, and planning ahead. She's become a master multi-tasker too. Our parents are always complimenting her on her work ethic and how mature she's become. Maybe having to juggle work and school is helping get her prepared for life after college when she'll likely have an even crazier schedule with a full-time career. It's also been amazing to see my sister's confidence grow from her customer service experience. She used to be pretty shy, but now she has no problem talking to anyone and addressing problems directly. Just the other day, she calledthe internet company to straighten out an issue with our bill - something myparents always dreaded doing. Her restaurant job has really helped her become a great communicator.Another thing I've noticed is that my sister seems way more money conscious now that she's working. She's begun saving money for her future instead of just spending it all on unnecessary stuff like she used to. She's developing awesome financial management skills that I know will come in super handy once she needs to start paying rent, buying a car, and covering all those other crazy adult expenses. Part of me is jealous that she's being so responsible with money while I still beg my parents for new toys and video games every month! So I guess when I step back and think about it, there are actually a lot of benefits to college students working part-time jobs. Yes, it adds a lot to their already full plate of responsibilities. But it's helping them build crucial life skills that will prepare them for the real world. It's teaching them independence, time management, money smarts, customer service skills, and so much more. Maybe all the stress and exhaustion is worth it in order to develop into a responsible, well-rounded adult.Although I'm still just a kid, I can definitely see the advantages of my sister working during college. It's not easy, but it's helping mold her into someone who can confidently take onany challenge thrown her way. I have a ton of respect for what she's taking on and can't wait to get my first job someday too. I'll be sure to take my cues from her on how to handle thatwork/school balancing act!So those are my thoughts - straight from the mind of a10-year-old who can't even fathom what it's like to be in college yet. My advice? If you can swing it without burning out completely, get that part-time job! Just don't take on so much that you neglect your studies, health, and social life in the process. It's all about finding that magical in-between. Baby steps, college kids! From what I've seen with my awesome big sis, a little hard work never hurt anyone.。

Inaddition, doing part-time job in different places can contactwith different people, which is sure to make more new friends. Moreover, students can get some working experience from theirpart-time job, which will not from school course teaching. This experience is good for their career after graduation.一方面,做兼员工作能够赚一些钱,交更多的新朋友,并获取一些工作经验。

To begin with, students can learn how to get along with people and know the society better by taking a part|time job. Furthermore, to take a part-time job provides the students with a valuable opportunity to put what he has learned from books into practice. Finally, students can make some money, which helps to unload their families financial burden. However, problems may also arise. Firstly, some students spend too much time doing part|time jobs while neglecting their studies. Secondly, when taking part-time jobs, the students may be distracted from their studies by the colorful lives in the society. Thirdly, some students may be cheated or hurt by their employers, because they dont know how to protect themselves. As for me, I share the view that college students need to step out of the campus and take some part|time jobs if their schedule permits. After all, it opens them a window to know about the society, which is essential to their maturity.怎样看待大学生做业余兼职英语篇2Remember the blogosphere "the second starting line"? Life is actually in the unceasing start and spent compete. If as college students we have in the "first starting line" on hard won, so, nextwe will set foot on "the runway", will be full of more challenges, it is our career. And our "second starting line", will start from part-time. In the scheduled before, and let's listen to a part-time students heart: turn on the TV, newspaper and Internet browsing, all kinds of such as "graduation is unemployed," "college graduates below one thousand yuan a month," "difficult obtain employment" information inexorably filled with my audio-visual, that I admitted to Beijing from the key university that day on, he has carried the future employment pressure, for tomorrow uncertain "bowl" and faint uneasy. Students working part time usually have a positive attitude towards this extracurricular experience. Besides earning some money to support themselves, they can learn a lot which cannot be learned from textbooks. They will learn to get along with different kinds of people, get useful working experiences and learn the value of labor. However, there are also some disadvantages in students doing part-time work. For example, too much work may cut into student's study time when they should get the best out of their college llfe and lay a good foundation of knowledge for their college life and lay a good foundation of knowledge for their future work. Another disadvantage is that money earned, if not properly used, may lead to some bad habits, or even greed.Good or bad, it is not easy for students to get part-tithe jobs in China now. Even if they do get some work, they are often badly paid. To change the situation, the society should develop a fresh look at students doing parttime work and provide them with opportunities in applying what they learn in the classroom to the real life situation of our society.怎样看待大学生做业余兼职英语篇4The long summer vacation only lasted a few days, and I stayed at home doing nothing. Others believe that it is better for them not to work at all.In my own point, I believe that it is good for students have part-time jobs.Along with us grow up, we should be independent. If we have a part-time job, we will be able to be independent. Also, we will be able to learn new skills. Maybe we will be afraid of failure, but everyone could make a mistake.Think about the pocket money that you earn it by yourself, you will feel proud. If you have a part-time job, you will have pocket money. In other words, you don’t need to use your parent’s money, so you ease your parent’s burden. If you are an international student, you can improve the language from working. In my mind, I think that have a part-time job not means your purpose is to earn money. The most important thing is to get the experience. It is good for the future job.In addition, we can make some full of experience friends. If we need help one day, we will be able to ask for helping form them. All in all, I believe that it is goof for students have part-time jobs.怎样看待大学生做业余兼职英语篇12In recent years, more and more college students choose to take part-time jobs in or outside school. Many teachers complainthan there are fewer and fewer students who pay attention to their study. Should we put the blame on part-time jobs? Is it a good thing for college students to work part time?It is true that excellent academic: qualifications are something essential if you want to find a good job after you leave school. But on the other hand, for those who can easily get high marks in examinations, it is worth trying to find something to do in their spare time. Then they can get some work experience which is as valuable as their academic achievement. From what I have said, it is difficult to judge whether taking part time jobs is good or bad. It depends on how you deal with the relation ship between working and learning. If you can balance it well, you are sure to get enough knowledge as well as working experience, so as to get ready for you future success. 怎样看待大学生做业余兼职英语篇13Some peolpe think there are more advantages for colleges students to take part-time jobs than disadvantages, others don't think so. What's your view on this? And tell why.A serious problem has arisen in recent several years that more and more collegestudents abandon study because of their taking part-time jobs, so quite a few people are opposed to part-time jobs. However, taking part-time jobs has at least three benefits for college studens in my eyes.First, students can promote their study through part-time jobs. For instance, If a law student finds a part-time job in a law firm, his practice will enable him to better understand what he's learned from books. What's more, the part-time job can offer him opportunities to go beyond what he's been taught in class, and he'll learn something that doesn't exist in books but in practice.Second, students can also accumulate work experiencesthrough part-time jobs, which will benefit their future job-hunting. Actually, part-time jobs act as warm-up exercises for students to take full-time jobs after they graduate, and help them prepare for their future careers. In addition, as fresh blood in the society, graduated students are often unfavored in job-hunting markets for lack of practical work experiences. It's easier to find jobs for those who have accumu lated experiences in part-time jobs.Last but not the least, part-time jobs can partly relieve students' financial burden, especially those who are from poor families. College tution fees have greatly increased in the past ten years due to the new educational policy. Many students from poor families cannot afford college fees, and our bank system fail to loan college students as effectively as it does in developed countries, sotaking part-time jobs becomes a way for them to meet their great expenses in campus lives. It's an undenied fact that students break the balance between their jobs and studies, especially when they fall into conflict with each other. But I think students should spend their spare time taking part-time jobs. Only following this principle can they benefit from their part-time jobs.怎样看待大学生做业余兼职英语篇14More and more college students are taking part-time jobs. Some people argue that part-time jobs take up too much time that students have no time to focus on their studies, whereas others think that doing part-time jobs should be encouraged in that students can get rich experience from the jobs. As far as I concern, I think we should encourage students to do part-time jobs for the following reasons.First of all, part-time job experience provides theopportunities for students to know about what jobs are really like and enhance their personal abilities. What’s more, suc h experience can help them be prepared psychologically for their future jobs. Second, the part-time jobs can enrich students’ daily life activities and help them to make more friends. If one has friends from different fields, these friends will help him with his personal development in the future. Third, taking part-time jobs can reduce the financial pressure. Many college students still ask their parents for money. This can be a heavy burden to some families. But if the students can do some part-time jobs and make money on their own, the family pressure can be relieved to some extent. Last but not least, part-time jobs can help students to find out their strengths and shortcomings. When they overcome the difficulties, they will become more confidence. To sum up, doing part-time jobs has more advantages than disadvantages. The students can not live in the ivory tower forever. They will meet the challenges from this cruel world sooner or later. And doing part-time job is the first step to walk in this society.怎样看待大学生做业余兼职英语篇15Most college students tend to do a part-time job, because they want to make their college life colorful and interesting.Doing a part-time job brings them so many benefits. For one thing, college students can earn pocket money by doing part-time jobs, so that they needn't ask money from their parents any more. For another, the part-time jobs can help them get more working experience.Nowadays, the working experience is an important thing in job hunting, for most companies prefer to hire someone who is experienced. What's more, through the part-time jobs, they canmake more friends and know the society better.Nevertheless, it's not absolutely right for college students to do the part-time jobs. Since most of them are always busy with their part-time jobs at night, so that they may not have a good rest. Therefore, they can't listen to the teachers carefully and fall asleep in class. I don't think it's wise for them to do so. As college students, study is their major task. If their part-time jobs have a bad effect on their study, they had better give them up and pay more attention to their study instead.。

以大学生有必要做兼职吗为题写一篇英语作文

以大学生有必要做兼职吗为题写一篇英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Do College Students Need to Have a Part-Time Job?Hi there! My name is Timmy, and I'm a 3rd grader at Elmwood Elementary School. Today, I want to talk about something that's been on my mind lately – whether college students should have part-time jobs or not. I know, I know, I'm just a kid, but I've been thinking a lot about this because my big sister, Sarah, is in college, and she has a part-time job at the mall.At first, I didn't really understand why she needed to work. Aren't college students supposed to just focus on their studies? That's what my parents always told me – that school is my job right now, and I shouldn't worry about anything else. But then Sarah explained to me that having a part-time job can be really helpful for college students, and now I kinda get it.One of the main reasons why college students might want to have a part-time job is to earn some extra money. College is expensive, you know? There are tuition fees, books, supplies, and all sorts of other costs. My sister says that her part-time job helpsher pay for some of those things, so she doesn't have to rely entirely on our parents or take out too many student loans. That makes sense to me because I know my parents work really hard, and it must be tough for them to pay for everything.Another reason why college students might want to have a part-time job is to gain some work experience. Sarah tells me that employers like to see that students have had some kind of job before, even if it's just working at a retail store or a restaurant. It shows that you're responsible, can manage your time well, and know how to interact with people. I guess that makes sense because when I grow up and get a job, I'll want to show that I've had some practice and know how to be a good worker. But having a part-time job isn't just about making money or getting experience. Sarah also says that it helps her learn important life skills, like budgeting, time management, and multitasking. She has to figure out how to balance her classes, homework, and job, which can be really tricky sometimes. I know I have a hard time just juggling school and my after-school activities, so I can't imagine having to add a job on top of that! But overall, I think the benefits of having a part-time job as a college student outweigh the drawbacks. It's not easy, but it teaches you so many valuable skills and helps you become moreindependent and responsible. Plus, who doesn't like having a little extra spending money for things like going to the movies or buying video games? So, if you're a college student and you're thinking about getting a part-time job, I say go for it! Just make sure you don't take on too much and that you still leave enough time for your studies and your social life. And if you ever need any advice, just ask a wise 3rd grader like me – I may be young, but I've got plenty of wisdom to share!篇2Do University Students Really Need Part-Time Jobs? An Essay by a Little KidHi everyone! My name is Timmy and I'm 8 years old. My teacher Mrs. Johnson asked us to write about whether university students should get part-time jobs while they are studying. At first, I wasn't sure what to think. University seems so far away for me! But then I remembered that my big brother Jason is in university, and he has a part-time job at the grocery store near our house.Jason says having a job is really hard when you're also trying to study and go to classes. He often comes home looking reallytired after his shift at the store. Sometimes he complains that he doesn't have enough time to finish all his homework because he has to work so many hours. On the other hand, our parents remind him that the money helps pay for his expenses and teaches him to be responsible. After thinking about it, I can see good reasons why university students may want to get part-time jobs, but also some important downsides. Let me share my thoughts! Why University Students May Want Part-Time Jobs:To earn money for expenses: Going to university is expensive! There are so many costs like tuition, textbooks, rent, food, and more. A part-time job can provide income to help pay for all those things. My brother uses his job money for his car, gas, and going out with friends sometimes. To gain work experience: Lots of adults say it's really important to get work experience while you're young. Having a part-time job teaches you skills like communicating with colleagues, managing your time, and being responsible. It looks good on your resume too when you apply for future jobs after graduating! To explore career options: Maybe you're not 100% sure what job you want after university. Working part-time jobs in different fields can help you figure out what you like or don't like. My brother's friend worked at a vet clinic and decided he wants to be a veterinarian. To develop independence: When you have your own job and earn your own money, it helps you become more independent and responsible. You learn to manage your time and money wisely between work, study, and fun. It's awesome practice for life after university! Why University Students May Not Want Part-Time Jobs:Less time for academics: This is a big one. Between attending classes, studying, doing assignments and exams, university is already a huge time commitment. Adding a part-time job on top of that means you have even less free time, which could negatively impact your grades.Increased stress levels: University is stressful enough with so much to juggle. Having to work part-time on top of that can make you feel overwhelmed, anxious, and burnt out really easily. My brother always seems frazzled when he's working and studying at the same time.Potential for unhealthy habits: When you're super busy and tired all the time, it's easy to slip into unhealthy habits. You might sleep less, eat lots of junk food, and have no time to exercise. That's not good for your physical and mental health!Difficulties balancing life: With a part-time job, it's harder to spend time with friends, join clubs, volunteer, or just relax. You have to sacrifice a big part of your social life and hobbies, which are also really important in university. So what do I think after weighing the pros and cons? Personally, I lean towards thinking university students probably shouldn't get part-time jobs, at least not during their really intense semesters. Getting good grades and focusing on your education seems most important when you're investing so much money into tuition. But I can understand why some students really need to work due to financial difficulties. And having a little part-time job, like 10 hours per week, could be okay if you're really good at time management. Just don't overdo it!At the end of the day, every student's situation is different. Some thrive while balancing work and study, while for others it's way too much added stress. University students need to be honest with themselves about their abilities and priorities. If you can swing it without part-time work, that's probably ideal so you can concentrate fully on your academics. But if you need to work, just be careful not to take on too much! Getting through university in one piece, passing your classes, and taking care of your well-being is the ultimate goal.Phew, who knew the life of a university student could be so complicated? No wonder my brother always looks exhausted. I'm definitely going to focus on getting good grades when I'm older so I don't have to stress about jobs until after graduation! Anyways, I hope Mrs. Johnson likes my essay. Let me know if you have any other questions!篇3Is It Necessary for College Students to Have a Part-Time Job?Hello, my name is Tommy, and I'm a 10-year-old student in primary school. Today, I want to talk about whether college students should have part-time jobs or not. It's a big topic, but I'll try my best to explain it in a way that's easy to understand.First of all, let me tell you what a part-time job is. It's a job that you do for a few hours a week or a few days a month, usually to earn some extra money. College students often take part-timejobs because going to college can be really expensive. They need money for things like tuition fees, textbooks, food, and rent. Now, let's talk about the reasons why college students might want to have a part-time job.Earn Extra MoneyAs I mentioned before, college is expensive. By having a part-time job, students can earn some extra money to help pay for their expenses. This means they don't have to rely too much on their parents or take out big loans.Gain Work ExperienceHaving a part-time job can also help students gain valuable work experience. This can be really helpful when they graduate and start looking for a full-time job. Employers often like to see that someone has had some work experience before.Develop SkillsPart-time jobs can also help students develop important skills like time management, customer service, and teamwork. These skills are useful not just for work, but also for life in general.Meet New PeopleWorking a part-time job is a great way for college students to meet new people and make friends. This can be especially important if they're studying in a new city or town and don't know many people yet. However, there are also some potential downsides to having a part-time job as a college student.Time ManagementJuggling classes, homework, and a part-time job can be really challenging. Students might find it hard to balance everything and end up feeling stressed or overwhelmed.Grades Might SufferIf a student is spending too much time working, it could start to affect their grades. They might not have enough time to study or do their assignments properly.Lack of SleepWorking late shifts or having to wake up really early for a job can also lead to a lack of sleep. This can make it harder for students to focus in class or do their best work.Missing Out on College LifeFinally, having a part-time job might mean that students miss out on some of the fun parts of college life, like clubs, events, or just hanging out with friends. So, what do I think? Well, I believe that whether or not a college student should have a part-time job really depends on their individual situation. If a student is struggling financially and needs the extra money, then a part-time job might be a good idea. It could help them pay for their expenses and avoid taking out too many loans. However, if a student already has enough money from their parents or scholarships, then a part-time job might not be necessary. They could use that extra time to focus on their studies or get involved in extracurricular activities. It's also important for students to be honest with themselves about how much they can handle. If they're already feeling really stressed or overwhelmed, adding a part-time job on top of everything else might not be a good idea.At the end of the day, college students need to weigh the pros and cons carefully and decide what's best for them. Theymight even want to try out a part-time job for a little while and see how it goes.As long as they're being responsible and not letting their studies suffer, I think having a part-time job can be a really valuable experience for college students. It can teach them important life skills and help them become more independent. But if a student finds that they're struggling to keep up with everything, it's okay to take a step back and focus on their studies first. Their education should always be the top priority.Well, that's my take on the topic! I know I'm just a kid, but I hope I was able to explain it in a way that made sense. Let me know if you have any other questions – I'm always happy to chat about big topics like this one!篇4Is It Really Important for College Kids to Have a Job Too?Hi there! My name is Emily and I'm 8 years old. My big sister Sarah just started college last year and she got a job working a few hours a week at the campus bookstore. I was really curious why she needed to work since my parents still give her money. So I asked her about it and this is what she told me.Sarah said that in college, it's really common for students to get part-time jobs while they are studying. There are a few big reasons why. The first one is to earn some spending money. Sure, our parents help pay for the big stuff like tuition, housing, and meal plans. But Sarah still needs cash for little things like going to the movies, buying snacks, or going out with friends. She uses her job money for that instead of always asking our parents.Another reason Sarah got a job is to get some work experience. She told me it's hard to get hired for a good job after graduation if you've never had any real work experience before. Employers want to see that you know how to show up on time, work hard, and be responsible. Her campus job helps build those skills.Sarah also said having a job helps students manage their time better. If you have a set work schedule, you can't just laze around all day. You have to plan out when to go to class, study, work, eat, and have fun. Good time management is a important skill for college and life. The last big reason is to help pay for extras. See, tuition and housing are the main costs. But there are lots of little fees and expenses too - like lab fees, books, supplies, transportation, andactivities. Some students need jobs to cover those added costs so they don't go too far into debt. But for Sarah and a lot of her friends, a part-time job of10-20 hours per week is really helpful. She likes earning her own money and getting that job experience. She just has to be super organized to get all her work done for classes too.I think it's really cool that college kids can work if they want to. My parents always tell me I'm too young and need to focus just on school for now. But I'm excited to maybe get a fun job when I'm older, like at an ice cream shop or a pet store! I'll just have to be really responsible like Sarah and get all my homework done first. What do you think? Do you have an older brother or sister who works while in college? Or if you're a college student yourself, do you have a part-time job too? I'd love to hear about your experiences! Just remember, moderation is key. Don't work so much that your grades suffer. Studies come first, but a little job can be a great thing too!篇5Is it Necessary for College Students to Have Part-Time Jobs?Hello everyone! Today, I want to talk about whether it's necessary for college students to have part-time jobs. As a young student myself, I believe this is an important topic to discuss.First of all, let's think about why college students might want to have part-time jobs. One reason is that it can help them earn some extra money. College life can be quite expensive, with tuition fees, textbooks, and other expenses. By workingpart-time, students can have their own money to pay for these things and also learn how to manage their finances wisely.Another reason why some college students choose to work part-time is to gain practical experience. Sometimes, what we learn in class is not enough to prepare us for the real world. By working in a job related to our field of study, we can apply the knowledge we've learned and develop important skills that will be valuable in our future careers. However, there are also some challenges that come with having a part-time job while studying. College life is already demanding with classes, assignments, and exams. Adding a job on top of that can be overwhelming and lead to stress and fatigue. It's important for students to find a balance between work and study to ensure they can still perform well academically. Moreover, some students may argue that working part-time can distract them from focusing on their studies. They believe that their main priority should be their education, and any additional commitments may hinder their academic performance. It's important for students to evaluate their own capabilities and make sure they can handle the responsibilities of a job without neglecting their studies. In my opinion, whether or not college students should have part-time jobs depends on their individual circumstances. Some students may have financial responsibilities that require them to work, while others may prioritize focusing solely on their studies. It's a personal decision that should be made based on what is best for each student. To conclude, having a part-time job as a college student can offer benefits such as earning money and gaining practical experience. However, it also comes with challenges and the need to find a balance between work and study. Ultimately, the decision to work part-time should be based on each student's own situation and priorities. It's important for college students to consider their goals and capabilities before making a decision.篇6Title: Should College Students Have Part-Time Jobs?Hi everyone! My name is Tommy and I'm 8 years old. Today I want to talk about whether college students should havepart-time jobs. This is a very important topic that many big kids think about.I have some older cousins who go to college. Some of them have jobs like working at restaurants or stores. Others don't have jobs and just focus on their classes. I think having a part-time job in college can be a good idea for a few reasons.First of all, a job helps you earn money! College is very expensive. My parents are always talking about how much they have to pay for my cousin's tuition and rent. A part-time job can give you extra money to help pay for those big costs. Instead of asking your parents for more money, you can use your own paycheck. I like earning my own money by doing chores like taking out the trash or washing the car. It makes me feel very grown up and responsible.Having a job also teaches you important skills that you'll need after graduation. My cousin Jessica works at a clothing store on weekends. She told me that her job helps her practice talking to customers in a polite way. She also has to show up on time, solve problems, and be organized. Those are all skills she'llneed when she gets a big job after college. Just going to class isn't enough - a part-time job gives you real practice. On the other hand, I can understand why some college students choose not to work. College classes seem really hard with all the homework, papers, and exams. If you add a job on top of that, it might be way too much! My cousin Mike doesn't work so he can spend more time studying. He says he would rather take out student loans than risk getting poor grades because he's too tired from working late. Getting good grades is super important for getting into grad school or finding a good career.Another reason not to work is that college is supposed to be fun! You only get to be a student once in your life. A part-time job means you have less free time to join clubs, go to parties, play sports, or just relax. My cousin Julie says her job is pretty boring - she wishes she had more time to hang out with friends instead of folding shirts for 6 hours. Being a cashier doesn't really sound like much fun, at least to me! College should be about making memories, not just making money. So those are some of the pros and cons of college students working. If I had to choose, I think I would want to get a small part-time job, but not work too many hours. That way I could getmoney, learn skills, but also have plenty of time left over for studying hard and enjoying the full college experience. Maybe I could work at an ice cream shop or the campus library - those sound like fun jobs to me!What do you all think? Should college kids get jobs or not? I'd love to hear your opinions! We might not be in college yet ourselves, but it's good to start thinking about these big decisions early. Let me know if you agree or disagree with me. Thanks for reading my essay!。

Today I want to talk about an important topic - should kids my age be allowed to have part-time jobs? It's something a lot of my friends and classmates have been discussing lately. Some of us think it's a great idea to start earning our own money, while others think it's too much responsibility at our age. I've given it a lot of thought and here's what I think.First off, let me just say that I totally understand why some parents and teachers might be against kids having jobs. Their biggest worry is probably that it will distract us from our schoolwork and extra-curricular activities. Having a job does mean extra responsibilities and time commitments on top of homework, sports, music lessons, and just being kids. I get that it's a lot to handle. But you know what? I think kids today are more capable and mature than a lot of adults give us credit for. With the rightguidance and limits in place, I believe most of us could totally handle a part-time job while still keeping up with school and having fun. My parents have taught me good time management skills and I'm pretty responsible when I put my mind to it.There are actually a lot of benefits to having a job at a young age. The biggest one is learning the value of hard work and earning your own money. Getting a paycheck that you worked hard for gives you a great sense of pride and independence. It's fun to be able to buy videogames, clothes or treats for yourself instead of always asking your parents for money. Having a job helps build character too - you learn skills like showing up on time, dealing with customers, taking direction from a boss, and a whole lot more. Some kids are really fortunate that their parents can give them an allowance or buy them anything they want. But a lot of families don't have a ton of extra money. Having a part-time job could allow those kids to contribute around the house and learn money management skills. It's awesome practice for becoming a responsible adult one day.As for what types of jobs are good for kids, there are quite a few options in my opinion. The classic kid job is doing yard work or odd jobs around the neighborhood like raking leaves, shoveling snow, or walking dogs. Babysitting is another popular choice, especially for girls. Older kids could work at places like grocery stores, restaurants, or retail shops. I've even heard of entrepreneurial kids running their own small businesses like lemonade stands or lawn mowing services!Of course, there would need to be some rules and limits. Maybe no more than 10-15 hours per week so it doesn't interfere too much with schoolwork. The jobs should be local and have reasonable hours, so kids aren't working late at night or having to travel far. Parents would need to approve the job and make sure their child is safe and treated properly by their employer. But with some sensible guidelines, I think student jobs could be a really positive experience. One other thing to consider is that kids are already working in lots of families. We help out by doing chores around the house, watching younger siblings, or pitching in at a family business or farm. In that light, having an official part-time job doesn't seem that much different. It's just formalized work experience.I've heard people say that childhood should be a time for playing, learning, and being carefree. And while I agree that it's vitally important for kids to have time to be kids, I also think exposure to the working world is valuable. Having a part-timejob doesn't mean the end of childhood fun. It just means finding a balanced schedule and learning responsibilities. Lots of adults with full-time jobs still find plenty of time for hobbies, spending time with family, and enjoying life. Kids can too!In the end, I suppose it comes down to maturity levels. Some kids may not be ready to handle the extra obligation of a job. But for those of us who are hard workers and self-motivated, having a part-time job can be an incredibly rewarding experience. It provides great lessons about money, responsibilities, and growing up. We shouldn't dismiss kids' capabilities entirely. Those are just my thoughts, but I'd love to hear your perspectives! What do you all think about students havingpart-time jobs? Do you agree or disagree with my points? I'll do my best to respond to your comments and questions. This is obviously a complex issue with arguments on both sides. I just wanted to bring a kid's point of view into the discussion! At the end of the day, we should have open conversations about things like this and make decisions based on each individual child's best interests. Thanks for reading!篇2Should Students Be Allowed to Have Part-Time Jobs?Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to talk about whether kids like me should be allowed to get part-time jobs while we're still in school. It's a pretty big topic that a lot of grown-ups argue about. Some think it's a great idea because it teaches us responsibility, while others think we're too young and should just focus on our schoolwork. Personally, I think students should be allowed to have little jobs if they want to, but only if some rules are followed to make sure we don't get too stressed out or behind in our classes. Let me explain my point of view!First of all, having a part-time job is a fantastic way for kids to learn all about responsibility. Just think about it - if you have a job, you have to show up on time, work hard, listen to your boss, and do your tasks properly or else you could get in trouble or even lose your job! That's lots of responsibility right there. At school, teachers remind us to do our homework and behave in class, but at a job you have to motivate yourself and stay on track. It's great practice for later in life when we're adults with full-time careers.Plus, part-time jobs help us develop important life skills that they don't teach you about in school. Through my job experiences, I've learned how to provide good customer servicewith a smile, manage my time wisely, be a team player withco-workers, and even handle cash registersr! Those are all abilities that will come in super handy when I'm older. My parents can try to teach me lessons about hard work and responsibility at home, but having an actual job really drives those lessons home in a meaningful way.Another cool thing about student jobs is that we can earn our own money! Think of how awesome it would be to paid for doing tasks and jobs instead of just getting an allowance from your parents. You would really appreciate earnings that you worked hard for and could spend it however you want - new video games, clothes, sports equipment, you name it! It's exciting. Getting paid is also good motivation to do a good job at work.I know what you're thinking though - won't having apart-time job on top of school be too much stress and strain for kids? That's a fair concern, but I think it can be avoided if we're smart about it. The solution is simple - just limit the number of hours kids are allowed to work during the school week so that it doesn't interfere too much with studies, homework, and extracurriculars. Maybe students could only work on Fridayevenings and weekends. That would allow us to get job experience and income while still prioritizing our academics. There would also need to be rules about what kinds of jobs students can work so that we don't get overworked doing tough manual labor or anything potentially dangerous. I'm thinking jobs more along the lines of retail, food service, tutoring, or doing chores for neighbours. Basically, simple tasks that aren't too demanding for kids. Oh, and parents should probably have to approve any job their kid wants so they can make sure it's appropriate. With some sensible regulations to protect kids, I don't think part-time jobs have to cause burnout or tank our grades if it's balanced properly. At the end of the day, I believe that the benefits of student jobs outweigh the negatives as long as there are safeguards in place. Working teaches young people so many crucial life skills around independence, time management, work ethic and handling money responsibly. It's awesome preparation for adult life. Part-time jobs allow us to earn our own cash to spend how we wish. And despite the extra workload, it can be manageable for students if there are limitations on the hours and types of jobs we can work. I'm just a kid, but if you ask me, I think studentjobs are an awesome idea and could be a really positive experience! Schools should definitely allow them. What do you think? Do you agree with me that part-time jobs can be beneficial for students, or do you think we should just stay focused on school until we're older? I'd love to hear your perspective! Thanks for reading my essay.篇3Should Kids Be Allowed to Get Part-Time Jobs?Hi there! My name is Alex and I'm a 5th grader. Today I want to talk to you guys about whether kids like me should be allowed to get part-time jobs while we're still in school. It's a kind of controversial topic that adults seem to have very different opinions about. Some grown-ups think kids shouldn't be working at all until we finish school. But others believe it can actually be good for us to have a little job, as long as it's not too many hours and doesn't interfere with our studies. I've given this topic a lot of thought, and here's what I think.First off, I know some of you might be wondering - why would a kid even want to get a job in the first place? Aren't we supposed to be playing and having fun? Well sure, playing is awesome and I love video games and sports as much as the nextkid. But there are actually a bunch of really good reasons why a student might want to try working a few hours a week at apart-time job.One of the biggest reasons is to earn some spending money. How cool would it be to be able to buy that new video game or toy you've been wanting, with money you earned all by yourself? Or to go to the movies with your friends without having to beg your parents for cash? Having a little bit of your own income can feel really empowering and grown-up.Another big plus of a part-time job is that it can teach you incredible life skills. Things like learning how to manage your time, be responsible, work as part of a team, and provide excellent customer service. Those are all skills that can help you get better grades in school, but they're also crazy useful for any career you might want after graduating. The earlier you start practicing those kinds of skills, the better prepared you'll be for the future. But one of the biggest benefits, at least in my opinion, is getting some real-world work experience. Finishing up our schoolwork and getting good grades is super important. But part-time jobs can give us a taste of what it's like to actually have a career when we're older. It can help us figure out what kinds ofjobs we might like or not like. It's almost like getting a head start on deciding our future profession! Those are some of the major advantages I see of students having part-time jobs. But I definitely understand the concerns that some adults might have about it too. One of their biggest worries is probably that a job could distract us from doing well in school and getting good grades. And they're not wrong - trying to juggle a job on top of schoolwork, homework, sports, and hobbies could potentially lead to overwhelm and burnout if we take on too much. That's why I think any part-time jobs for students need to have some reasonable limits and rules in place. Maybe there could be a maximum number of hours we're allowed to work each week, so it doesn't consume too much of our free time. And we'd absolutely have to prioritize school - if our grades started slipping because of the job, we'd need to cut back on work hours or quit until our studies were back on track. Our education has to come first.Parents, teachers, and employers would all need to be on the same page about promoting a good work-life balance too. Teachers couldn't assign tons of excessive homework that makes it impossible for working students to keep up. And bosses wouldneed to be understanding about scheduling around big school projects, tests, and activities. With some cooperation and flexibility, I truly believe most kids could manage both part-time work and part-time academics successfully.Another worry I've heard from grown-ups is concern over the types of jobs kids would be allowed to have and making sure the work environment is an appropriate one. And that's a fair point - we probably wouldn't want 10-year-olds operating heavy machinery or anything super physically demanding like that! I think good student jobs would involve lighter tasks like retail, restaurants, tutoring, babysitting, yard work, or generaloffice/clerical work. And of course, any employers would need to follow all the child labor laws to ensure kids aren't being exploited or working in unsafe conditions. At the end of the day, I know that student jobs aren't the right choice for every kid. If sports, clubs, or just hanging out with friends is a higher priority for some students, that's totally fine too! Part-time work should be an optional choice, not something forced on anyone. Personally though, I really hope I can get a little job sometime in the next few years. Even just working 5-10 hours a week would be amazing! I'd get my own income, learn some super useful career skills, and get a headstart on figuring out what I might want to do after graduating from high school and college. Does that sound pretty awesome or what?Well, that's my take on whether kids should be allowed to get part-time jobs. Even though there are some potential downsides, I think the incredible benefits of a little work experience make it a great idea for students - as long as we're smart, safe, and keep our priorities straight. What do you guys think? I'd love to hear your opinions! Let me know if you agree or disagree with me. Thanks for reading, and have a wonderful rest of your day!篇4Should Students Be Allowed to Have Part-Time Jobs?Hi there! My name is Johnny and I'm a 5th grader at Oakwood Elementary School. Today I want to share my thoughts on whether kids like me should be allowed to have part-time jobs after school or on the weekends. It's a topic that comes up a lot between me and my friends!First off, I think having a part-time job can teach kids really important life lessons. Like how to be responsible, manage our time better, and gain valuable work experience. My buddy Markworks a few hours on Saturdays at the local pet store, and he's learned so much about taking care of animals and dealing with customers. Those are skills that will help him out later in life when he needs to get a real full-time job.Working also teaches us the value of money. Instead of just asking our parents for things, we'd have our own income to pay for stuff we want, like video games, sports equipment, or even saving up for a car when we're older. I mean, how cool would it be to buy your first car with money you earned yourself? My parents had to work hard as teenagers to save up and buy their first junky old cars. Learning money management at a young age would be awesome.Another big reason I think kids should be allowed part-time jobs? It keeps us out of trouble! If we've got something productive to do after school instead of just roaming around the neighborhood or sitting in front of screens, we'll be way less likely to get mixed up with the wrong crowd. Having job responsibilities gives us purpose and keeps us focused. My pal Eric works at the mall a few nights a week, and he says it's helped him stay on the straight and narrow instead of falling in with some of the sketchier dudes in our class.Of course, there would need to be some rules and limits if kids were allowed to work part-time jobs. Like maybe only a set number of hours per week so it doesn't interfere too much with schoolwork. And probably only kids in middle school and up, since little kids need more time to just play and be kids. There'd have to be laws about what kinds of jobs we could do too - nothing too dangerous or sketchy obviously. But overall, I think giving kids the opportunity to work shows that society trusts us and believes we can be responsible. That's not to say there aren't some downsides to kids having part-time jobs though. My friend Jessie tried working at the grocery store for a while, but between school, homework, her job, and dance practice, she was exhausted all the time. She ended up quitting because she wasn't getting enough sleep and her grades started to slip. So yeah, it's definitely possible to overdo it and take on too much with a job on top of everything else kids have going on.My parents have told me that back when they were growing up, it was pretty normal for teenagers to work at least some part-time job to have spending money and save for college. But these days, they say academics and extracurriculars are so competitive that there's a lot more pressure on kids. My daddoesn't want me to have to work while in school so I can just focus on getting good grades and test scores. He thinks it will help me get into a better college. Which I get, but I'd still like the option!Another concern is that kids could get taking advantage of by employers and not get paid fairly or get stuck with all the crummy jobs adults don't want to do. My friend Caleb worked at a dishwasher at a restaurant for a while and said it was pretty tough coming home smelling like old food and dishwater every night after slaving over a hot sink for hours. Not very glamorous! So those are some of the pros and cons to think about when it comes to kids having part-time jobs. Ultimately, I think I lean towards being in favor of it, as long as there are some reasonable rules and limits in place. Working teaches massively important life skills around responsibility, money management, and gaining work experience. And it helps keep kids out of trouble and on a productive path.At the same time, I know it's not for everyone. Some kids really do need to devote all their time and energy to their studies to keep up academically. And some families might not be able to rely on their kids to provide extra income if money is really tight.I just think for those of us who are able to handle it, having apart-time job while in school can be an awesome way to grow and mature. What's your opinion - should kids be allowed to work? Let me know!篇5Should Students Be Allowed to Have Part-Time Jobs?Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm a 5th grader. My teacher, Mrs. Miller, asked us to write an essay about whether kids like me should be allowed to have part-time jobs. At first, I wasn't sure what to think. Having a job sounds kind of grown-up and maybe a little boring. But after thinking about it more, I realized there are some good reasons why students could benefit from working! One of the main reasons I think we should be allowed to have jobs is to earn our own money. I always have to ask my parents for cash if I want a new video game or toy. With a job, I could use my own paycheck to buy things I want instead of bugging Mom and Dad all the time. Having my own money would help me learn how to manage it responsibly too. Maybe I could open a bank account and start saving up for a car or college!Another perk of having a part-time job is gaining valuable experience and skills. Lots of jobs require you to interact with customers, manage your time wisely, and be a team player. Developing those abilities now would prepare me for bigger job responsibilities as a teenager and adult. I could work on communicating clearly, being punctual, and taking initiative. Who knows, I might discover a career path I'm really interested in pursuing down the road!Of course, having a job wouldn't be all fun and games. I would have to balance my work schedule with homework, chores, extracurricular activities, and hanging out with friends. That could be pretty tricky! I would need to have excellent time management mastered. There's also the possibility of burn-out if I take on too much between school and a job. That wouldn't be good for my health or my grades.Despite those drawbacks, I believe students should absolutely be allowed to have part-time jobs with some reasonable limits. I'm thinking somewhere between 10-15 hours per week during the school year could work. That would allow enough time to stay on top of schoolwork while benefiting from a job. During summer vacation, we could work closer to 25-30 hours weekly. As for the types of jobs, there are tons of options! We could babysit, mow lawns, walk dogs, do yard work, referee sports games, operate concession stands, stock shelves at stores, wash cars, and more. Employers would need to follow labor laws about time limits and job duties, of course. But I think we're responsible enough to handle jobs like those. In the end, having a part-time job wouldn't be for every student. Some kids would want to focus entirely on academics, sports, and clubs. Others might come from families who prefer they don't work until they're older. That's okay too! But for those of us who want to work, I think we should have that opportunity from a reasonable age like 13 or 14.Just imagine all the benefits - earning money, gaining skills, keeping active, feeling accomplished! It could even inspire us to start thinking about future career goals. Personally, I'd love to save up for that new video game system. Or maybe I'll start a college fund instead. With a part-time job, the choice would be up to me! What do you think - would you want to work if you could? Let me know!篇6Should Students Be Allowed to Have a Part-Time Job?Hi there! My name is Timmy, and I'm a 4th grader at Oakwood Elementary School. Today, I want to share my thoughts on whether kids like me should be allowed to have a part-time job. It's a pretty hot topic these days, and a lot of grown-ups seem to have different opinions about it.First of all, let me tell you why I think kids should be allowed to work part-time. The most obvious reason is that we can earn our own money! Isn't that just the coolest thing ever? Imagine being able to buy all the toys, video games, and candy you want without having to ask your parents for money. You'd have your own cash to spend however you like! But it's not just about buying stuff, you know. Having a part-time job can also teach us a lot of valuable life lessons. We'll learn how to be responsible, punctual, and hardworking. Those are all super important skills that will help us when we grow up and get a real job.Another great thing about working is that we'll get to meet new people and make new friends. Sure, we have our school buddies, but working lets us interact with all sorts of different people from different backgrounds. That's pretty awesome, right? Now, I know what some of you grown-ups might be thinking. "But Timmy, won't a part-time job distract you from your studies and other important activities?" Well, let me tell you something –kids these days are pretty darn good at multitasking. We can juggle schoolwork, extracurricular activities, and a part-time job without breaking a sweat (well, maybe a little sweat, but you get the idea). And let's be real here, a lot of us already have chores and responsibilities at home. How different is that from having a part-time job, really? At least with a job, we get paid for our hard work!Of course, there are some rules and regulations that should be in place to make sure kids don't get taken advantage of. For example, we shouldn't be allowed to work too many hours, especially on school nights. And the jobs we do should be safe and age-appropriate, nothing too dangerous or inappropriate. But as long as those guidelines are followed, I don't see any reason why kids shouldn't be allowed to work part-time. It's a great way for us to learn valuable skills, earn our own money, and gain some independence.I know some of you might still be a bit skeptical, but just think about how proud you'll feel when your kid comes homewith their first paycheck. That's a pretty awesome feeling, let me tell you.So, what do you say, grown-ups? Are you ready to let us kids show you what we're made of? We promise we won't let you down! Just give us a chance, and we'll prove that we can handle the responsibility of a part-time job.Who knows, maybe one day I'll be the next big business tycoon or something, all thanks to the lessons I learned from my first part-time gig. Wouldn't that be something?Anyway, those are just my two cents on the matter. I hope I've at least given you something to think about. And if you ever need a hardworking, responsible kid to help out at your shop or office, you know who to call – Timmy's the name, and working hard is my game! Thanks for listening, and have a great day!Word count: 2038。

part-time job

part-time job

I strongly believe that it is ideal for high school students tohave a part-time job because; firstly it allows them to learn responsibility, teaches them how toproperly manage their time and prepares them for their futureFirstly, it teaches the students about being responsible. Being a teenager, is the phase oflife when we are not fully matured yet, and having a part-time job will grant us the basic traitsof what our future will consist of, which is having to be responsible. Responsibility is promotedthrough having a job on a couple different terms. First, when students have a job, they areexpected to be punctual, which is a good quality to retain for life. For example, I have a friendwho currently has a job at a grocery store, and I have noticed many changes in her timemanagement; she has become much more punctual. Plus, when they have a job it is necessaryto complete the tasks that they are assigned, which teaches them to obey the rules. And thereare more of course, but they would take too long to fully explain. In addition, another great quality to retain which is portrayed when having a job is proper time management. When having a job it is necessary to properly manage your time, inorder to both have a job and earn money, but also have a social life. When having a job, students must properly arrange their time around family, friends, and their school work, which...Nowadays some may hold the opinion that students should not take part-time jobs while they are studying in universities, but others have a negative attitude. The answer of this statement depends on our own experience and life style. To be frank, I disagree with this statement. My arguments for this point are listed as follows.First of all, although university educ ation definitely takes very significant role in one’s later life, some students have to do some part-time jobs to afford their education. I t is a commonsense that a large majority of students think alway s spend parents’ money is very shameful act for the u niversity students. For example, my family’s financial condition not so good, and I cannot always turn to my parents. Besides, being a grown man, I mustafford myself by doing part-time jobs.Furthermore, It is undeniable fact that society requires students not only have a good command of academic qualities, but also they must grasp social skills. How to obtain social skills? Just from reading book? Of course not. Taking part-time jobs will provide us the opportunity to make up our those weak points that cannot offset in the school. For instance, from doing part-time job, we can learn how to be a good employee; how to take responsibility and how to deal with co-workers and so on.Finally, maybe from doing part-time jobs we can find out ou r real field of interest, and it may lead us to the success. During part-time job, students can get a deeper understand about their major. School education can only instill abstract knowledge but cannot teach us how to imply them in our daily life. For example, my major is architectural design. If I have a chance to take a part-time job in a design company, it is very helpful for me to get a practical design experience. In conclusion, the advantages of taking part-time jobs outweigh its disadvantages. By doing part-time jobs, we can release our parents’ financial burden; we can grasp more useful social...One of the advantages is that students can earn money. Some students have to earn money on their own to pay the tuition while some students just earn money to pay for their expenditure or satisfy their desire. In this material-oriented society, money is important and indispensable in our daily lives, so it’s a beneficial advantage to work part time. What’s more, another advantage is that students can acquire more expe riences and polish their skills when taking part-time jobs. For example, if you enjoy teaching, working part-time as a tutor may help you improve your teaching skills and gain experiences. Different kinds of jobs require different skills; therefore, you are likely to gain experiences and improve skills as long as you devote yourself to working.Generally speaking, college students can benefit a lot from part-time jobs.First, with the development of society and economy, students are getting higher education,as a result of which, the family are under the economic pressure.Taking a part-time job,in this point, students can pay a part of their living cost, and at the same time relieve their parents’ burden.Second,it also ne eds communication skills when you are taking an interview to get the job,as there are many other competitors. If you fail to take the first job,you will take efforts improving youself to win the next.Third, doing part-time jobs is not only a process of self-development,but also a process of experiencing social life, which will contribute to their job-searching in the future. And at last, they are making their college life colourful byhaving various part-time jobs and meeting people from different industries. What are the benefits of doing work experience?Work experience lets you see if you'd enjoy doing a job on a day-to-day basisLearning about a job or industry, and making contactsDuring work experience you can see first-hand what happens in a typical day on the job. Getting a realistic idea of the positive and negative parts of a job helps you make a more informed choice.Meeting people in the job means you can ask them questions, such as what they like best about their job, how they ended up in their line of work, and what qualifications they have.Meeting people in the job also helps you to start building a network of contacts in an industry you like, which can help you find a job later on.You can learn about related jobs in the same field, which could give you more ideas about what kind of career you might go into.Improving your job opportunities later onJob advertisements often ask for people with experience. Work experience can be the kind of experience an employer is looking for. It also proves you were motivated enough to find out about their industry.Doing work experience lets a potential employer see what kind of person you are - and you also get to find out about the employer. If the employer likes your attitude and you are a good fit for the company, there could be a potential job offer later on.Getting more out of school - and earning NCEA creditsWork experience can help you see what school subjects relate to the job you are interested in. It might even help you stay motivated and do better in those subjects. You can earn New Zealand Qualifications Framework credits through programmes such as Gateway. Not only are you working towards a workplace qualification, but these credits count toward NCEA as well.Advantages:1) Allows student freedom to make their own money which means they can choose how/when to spend it2) Gives the student responsibility to juggle their time and plan ahead with regards to: school, work, sports (if there are any), friends, family, church (if they go to church), band (if they play an instrument)3) If the student is younger, it gives them the opportunity to save for university/college OR if they are in Uni/College already, it gives the student some money to use for bills since we all know college is expensive4) It allows them to save up for anything they need/want (trip, car, clothes, etc.)Disadvantages:1) Student could become too busy with work and neglect other responsibilities2) The student may be tried from work and may not do their best in school3) The student may be at work a lot and not have as much time to spend with family and friends.I personally think having a job as a student is great. As long as they budget their time properly and don't work too many hours it is a great learning opportunity and a way to make an income.Learning While WorkingWorking part-time will give you more time for other things. You could go home after work and enjoy more time in TV, have fun in otherextra-curricular activities or you could go back to school for graduate studies. The first option is ok if you do not have a dream, but it is highly recommended to get yourself involved in other activities or getting a masters degree. You should count yourself lucky since you have more time to do other thing while having a good source of funds.Exploring other OpportunitiesThere are college graduates who opted to have a part-time job since they have to take care of a business. If you have landed on a part-time job, maybe you should also consider starting a small business in your area. There are many businesses that you could start in no time at all with little to no start-up cost. This will increase your source of income and might even improve overtime. There are also online jobs that you can do in your free time which could also become profitable. Just make sure you are not scammed when doing online work so that your efforts and resources will not go to waste.Aiming to go Full-timeIf you were hired as a part-time employee in a good company, do not let this chance slip in front of you. Be sure to work really hard and show that you can contribute more to the company if you are hired as a full-time employee.Nowadays more and more college students are crazy about taking part-time jobs. It's estimated that more than 30 percent students are busy spending over 60%of their after-school time on part-time jobs. What's more, the tendency seems to be on the rise. I believe that a part-time job has both advantages and disadvantges, and it is important for the students to strike an appropriate balance between study and work.Surely, the students can benefit from a suitable part-time job in at least two aspect s. First, students who do a part-time job can earn themselves certain sums of money which helps to release the financial burden on their parents. Besides, it's necessary for the students to take some real-life courses and learn more about the society so as to keep up with the outside world, which can help to prepare the students psychologically for theit future jobs. However, if a stud ent spends too much time and energyon part-time job, it would inevitably lessen his time and energy for academic learning. What's worse, too much lure in the part-time job may even corrupt the students' motivation for academic success. When I went to the English Corner last time, a schoolmate told us about his experience of being a volunteer in Xiamen during the last winter holiday. His pronunciation is good and he told us many interesting things about his part-time job. We all admired him, at the same time I was wondering how he could do that well. Not only can he practice his English, but he can also gain friendship and working-experience from it. Then the foreign teacher told us something about the advantages of getting a part-time job. And I really got someinspirations from what he said.As we all know that all of us will grow up one day, and must be independent and have to find a job by ourselves. But some of us still want to rely on our parents, but the fact is that our parents will become older and older and will pass away one day. When this day comes, who can give you food, clothes and money? So we must learn to be n learn in university is to be prepared for our work in the future. By having a part-time job, we will be able to apply our knowledge to practice. On the other hand, if we always stay in college, we can not learn very well. Because life itself is a good teache: it can teach you many things that you can not learn in the class. For example, you can learn how to get along with your colleaguesand your boss.Generally speaking, we must gain a lot of knowledge and experience for later use. Just imagine that you are going to find a satisfying job with your schoolmates one day, what are the differences between you and other graduates? Is your ability better than theirs? What is the most important thing that enables the company to believe that you are the right person to do the job rather than others? Obviously, the experience of getting a part-time job willbenefit you a lot.。
