1.Knowledge aims:
(1)master the main words: tomato,tomatoes, potato,potatoes, carrot,carrots, green beans。
(2)understand the sentences:Look at the green beans. They’re so long. Yes, and the potatoes are big.
(3)can chant fluently.
2. Ability aims:
Cultivate students’ oral english and performance ability。
3.Moral objects: students can have a healthy eating habits.
IV Teaching key points and difficult points:
1.Students can listen, speak and write the main words’ single form
and plural form ( tomato, tomatoes, potato, potatoes, carrot, carrots, green beans)
2.Students can understand, speak, listen, write and use the main
structures simply.
V Teaching aids: some vegetables, ppt, cards, vedio, chalks
VI Analysis of the contents in this class: Unit 4 At the farm mainly talks about the vegetables and animals. This is the first lesson for this unit. The four main words are important and a little difficult. Mainwhile, the key sentence structure is a liitle easier then the words.
VII Analysis of students: Students can see the four vegetables everyday. They are familiar with them. But they are not familiar with the situation. So teacher needs to use real ones to help them understand and master them. The contents are difficult for students. So how to design the activities to guide them master and practice their abilities is very important.

Unit4 At the farm ( show the ppt. )
2)Tomatoes
Teacher shows an envelope of tomatoes. Let some students taste
them( students say it out in Chinese). Teacher shows the card of single form. Then stick the card.Write the word( together). Teacher shows some students’ handwritings.
Then show a plate of tomatoes. Teach plural form. Then show the card of plural form (underline the “-es”). Then stick and write the word.

Show ppt. guide to “Look at the tomatoes. They are ______.”(teacher let students give play to describe. Then pratice speaking.)
3)Potatoes
Ppt. show a picture of a potato. Students will say it in chinese. Teacher teaches it. Then show the card of single form and a potato. Then stick and write. Teacher shows some students’ handwritings.
Show the picture of potatoes.(They are potatoes.) Teacher teaches potatoes read write). Then stick the picture card and word card. Underline the “-es”.
Look at the potatoes. They are big / brown
4)Carrot
T: Let’s play a guessing game: it’s a kind of vegetables. It’s orange. The rabbits like it very much. What’s it?
Ss can answer it both in Chinese and English. Show a carrot and teach it. Then T will show the word card and the picture card and drill it.
