教学内容 指尖上的新年(十七) :大年初九 拜天公寿诞 Today is the 9th day of 1st month in Lunar Calendar. 今天是农历正月初九。 It is believed to be the birthday of the Jade Emperor (玉皇大帝,yu huang da di, or 天公,tian gong) who is the Supreme Deity of Taoism. 这天被认为是道家的最高神灵玉皇大帝的生辰。 It is one of the most important celebrations in Chinese culture, the Jade Emperor’s birthday is touted as grander than the first day of the Chinese New Year as it is like a thanksgiving celebration. 这是中国文化中最重要的庆祝活动之一,玉皇大帝的生辰据说是新年的后面第一天就像感恩节庆祝一样。 Moreover, it also marks the New Year for the Hokkien community. There will be grand ceremonies in Taoist temples on this day. 此外,这也标志着福建地区的新年,这一天要到道教寺庙拜天公。 Ordinary families also have their own way to celebrate the birthday of the Jade Emperor. 平常的家庭也有自己庆祝玉皇大帝生辰的方式。 Beginning from the midnight of the 8th day of the Chinese New Year to 4 o’clock before the dawn of the ninth day, people will keep setting off firecrackers. On this day, people usually offer sacrifices to the Jade Emperor. 从新年初八的午夜到初九的凌晨4点,人们会放鞭炮。人们通常在这天祭祀玉皇大帝。 Sugar cane (甘蔗,gan zhe) in the Hokkien dialect sounds (kam chia) like thank you (kam siah) and it is auspicious. 在福建方言中,甘蔗听起来想“感谢”,这寓意着吉祥。 Thus, a pair of sugar cane is a must. Before the sacrifice, the whole family will take a shower first, to show their respect to the Jade Emperor. 因此,一对甘蔗是必须的。在祭祀前,全家人都会先洗澡来表示对玉皇大帝的尊敬。

七年级下册英语第三单元课文讲解
七年级下册英语第三单元课文讲解全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Unit 3: Environmental ProtectionHey guys! It's me again, here to give you the lowdown on Unit 3 of our English textbook. This one is all about the environment and why we need to protect it. Pretty heavy stuff, but also super important if we want to keep this planet livable for future generations. The unit kicks off with a reading passage called "Go Green to Save the Earth." This text really lays out the basics of what's going on with climate change and pollution. Things like greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, and overconsumption are putting major stress on the environment. The passage warns that if we don't make some big changes soon, the damage could become irreversible. Scary thought, right? But don't worry, it's not all doom and gloom. The passage also gives examples of ways we can "go green" and reduce our environmental impact. Things like recycling, conserving energy and water, and using renewable resources. Little changes wemake in our daily lives can add up to help protect the planet. We just have to develop more eco-friendly habits. After the reading, there are some vocabulary exercises related to environmental terms. Words like "carbon footprint," "sustainability," and "renewable energy source" - real buzzwords these days. Knowing the precise meanings of this vocab will help us discuss environmental topics more precisely. The next part focuses on listening skills with an audio recording about eco-tourism. This is the concept of traveling in a way that minimizes negative impacts on natural environments and local communities. The recording describes an eco-lodge deep in a rainforest that operates totally off-the-grid using solar power, treats its own water, and composts waste. Sounds like an amazing place to experience nature without harming it. The listening comprehension questions really make you think about the principles behind eco-tourism.For the writing section, we have to pen a persuasive essay about an environmental issue of our choice. We could argue for laws banning single-use plastics, more investment in clean energy technology, expansion of marine protected areas - any environmental cause that we feel passionately about. This is a chance to raise awareness and maybe inspire some real change.Where this unit really gets hands-on though is with the project section. We have to develop a plan to make our school more environmentally sustainable. Things like starting a recycling program, creating a community garden, or launching an energy-saving campaign. We'll have to research, organize, and pitch our proposals, then hopefully get the green light to implement them. What a great opportunity to walk the walk when it comes to environmental stewardship.Throughout all this, the grammar lessons focus on topics like conditionals, modals for obligations/demands, and passive voice. All very useful for discussing hypothetical environmental scenarios, expressing what should/shouldn't be done, and describing processes and impacts objectively. This unit packs a solid linguistic punch.I have to say, after working through all the material in Unit 3, I feel so much more informed and motivated when it comes to environmental issues. The impact we humans are having is pretty heavy, but there are also so many positive steps we can take as individuals and communities. Every little bit counts towards creating a more sustainable future. It's on us to be the change we want to see in the world. And hey, even something as simple as improving our English skillscan help by allowing us to communicate better and spread awareness about the importance of conservation. We've got the knowledge, now it's time to take action and be environmental champions! So study up, think green, and let's get to work saving the planet!篇2Unit 3: Exploring the Great OutdoorsHey friends! It's me again, here to give you all the inside scoop on our latest unit in English class. This time around, we're diving headfirst into the wonders of the natural world with Unit 3: Exploring the Great Outdoors. Get ready for some serious adventuring! The unit kicks off with a bang in the form of a thrilling narrative called "The Climb." This gripping tale follows the exploits of a young rock climber named Jessica as she conquers a massive cliff face. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, feeling like I was right there alongside her, defying gravity and pushing past my limits. The vivid descriptions of the rugged terrain and Jessica's unwavering determination really struck a chord with me. It just goes to show that with enough grit and perseverance, we can overcome any obstacle in our path. But "The Climb" is just the warm-up act for this unit's main event: poetry. That's right, we're venturing into the lyrical realm with not one, but two nature-inspired poems. The first, "The Lake Isle of Innisfree" by William Butler Yeats, transports us to a serene island sanctuary with its soothing imagery of peace and tranquility. Yeats' melodic words had me yearning to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, if only for a little while. The second poem, "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost, is a total paradigm shift. Instead of inviting us to relax, it challenges us to boldly forge our own path, even when it's the road less traveled. Frost's thought-provoking verses encouraged me to embrace my individuality and not be afraid to diverge from the crowd. After all, as he so eloquently puts it, "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I – I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference."Of course, no English unit would be complete without a healthy dose of vocabulary and grammar exercises. We've been honing our skills with all sorts of outdoor-themed words and sentence structures. From mastering phrases like "pitch a tent" and "go hiking" to nailing the finer points of the present perfect tense, this unit is really rounding out our linguistic abilities. But the real showstopper, in my opinion, is the research project we've been assigned. We're tasked with putting together a comprehensive report on a national park or nature reserve of our choosing. I'll admit, the idea of conducting all that research and writing seemed daunting at first. But as I've delved deeper into my chosen subject – the breathtaking Yellowstone National Park – I've become utterly entranced by the wealth of information and stunning visuals at my fingertips. From geysers and hot springs to grizzly bears and bison, Yellowstone is a treasure trove of natural wonders just begging to be explored. I can't wait to share everything I've learned with the class in my final presentation. Who knows, maybe my passion project will even inspire some of you to plan your own outdoor adventures! All in all, Unit 3 has been an exhilarating journey through the great outdoors, both literally and figuratively. We've scaled narrative heights, wandered poetic paths, and expanded our linguistic horizons. And the best part? Our expedition is just getting started. There's still so much more to uncover in the vast, untamed realm of the natural world. So lace up your hiking boots, pack a water bottle, and get ready to embrace your inner explorer, because this is one adventure you won't want to miss!篇3Unit 3: Our Diverse WorldHey everyone! Today I'm going to break down Unit 3 in our English textbook - "Our Diverse World." This unit is all about celebrating the amazing diversity we have on our planet. Get ready to learn some super fascinating stuff about different cultures, languages, traditions and more! The first text we cover is called "A World of Languages." This reading passage teaches us that there are around 7,000 languages spoken across the globe! Can you believe that? It goes into detail about some of the major world language families like Indo-European, Sino-Tibetan, Afro-Asiatic and more. We learn about lingua francas, which are languages that connect people across different cultures for communication. Some examples are English, Arabic, French and Chinese. The passage has really cool maps showing where certain language families originated too. After that, we dive into discussing endangered languages. Sadly, it's estimated that half of the world's languages could become extinct by the end of this century if we don't make efforts to preserve them. Indigenous languages are most at risk as generations stop passing them down. We read personal stories from people trying to revitalize their ancestral tongues and the challenges they face. It's crazy to think about all that linguistic diversity potentially being lost forever. The next part focuses on sign languages used by the deaf community across cultures. We watch videos about how visually rich and expressive they are, using hand shapes, facial expressions, body positions and more to communicate. American Sign Language (ASL) and British Sign Language (BSL) are two of the most widely used. A fun activity has us trying to learn simple ASL signs and phrases. It's definitely harder than it looks! After that, the unit explores cultural traditions and celebrations. We read about huge, colorful festival gatherings like Holi in India, Chinese New Year, Brazil's Carnival and more. Learning about all the different customs, foods, clothing, music and dances was so eye-opening. My favorite was reading about "Día de los Muertos" or Day of the Dead in Mexico, when familieshonor deceased loved ones with bright altars, calavera skulls and festival parades. So vibrant and meaningful! One of the writing assignments has us describing a cultural celebration from our own family's heritage. I chose to write about the Lunar New Year traditions my Vietnamese grandparents passed down. We have a big feast with lucky foods like sticky rice cakes, and the little red envelopes with money inside are always my favorite part! Researching and writing that essay made me appreciate my roots even more. The real showstopper of this unit is meeting Akiiki, a young girl from the Baka community in southeastern Cameroon. Through videos and first-person diary entries, Akiiki takes us inside the daily life, customs and challenges of her Indigenous community. We learn about their forest home,hunting/gathering lifestyle, unique musical traditions and so much more in brilliant detail. By the end, I felt like I'd traveled across the world and back!Overall, I'd say Unit 3 was definitely one of the most fascinating and eye-opening units we've covered so far. Learning about the staggering diversity of languages, cultures and traditions across our planet was mind-blowing. It really drove home how amazing human civilization is in all its forms. I have adeeper appreciation for the importance of preserving endangered languages and cultural heritage after studying this unit.If you haven't had a chance to dive into "Our Diverse World" yet, I highly recommend it. You're guaranteed to learn something new on every page that will expand your perspective in incredible ways. Our world is a wildly diverse, endlessly fascinating place - let's celebrate that!。
