于是，希腊⼈组织兵⼒转⽽袭击特洛伊附近的地区。
阿喀琉斯率领船队从海上攻破了⼗⼆个城市，还从陆上攻击了⼗⼀座城池。
在讨伐密西埃的战争中，他劫持了祭司克律塞斯的美丽的⼥⼉克律塞伊斯。
攻占吕⽿纳索斯时，他攻占了王宫，逼得国王兼祭司勃⾥塞斯⾛投⽆路，⾃杀⾝亡。
国王的⼥⼉勃⾥撒厄斯，⼜叫布洛达弥亚成了他的战利品，被他带回，成为他宠爱的奴⾪。
阿喀琉斯还带兵攻击列斯堡岛和位于西埃的普拉科斯⼭麓的底⽐斯城。
底⽐斯国王厄厄提翁是普⾥阿摩斯的亲家，他的⼥⼉安德洛玛刻嫁给了特洛伊著名的英雄赫克托⽿。
阿喀琉斯攻进王宫时，他杀掉了厄厄提翁和他的七个⼉⼦。
厄厄提翁⾝材⾼⼤，相貌威严，年轻的阿喀琉斯在他的⼫体前感到恐惧，不敢摘下死者的武器作为战利品。
于是，他派⼈把国王穿戴闪亮盔甲的⼫体⽕化，并造了⼀座巨坟将他埋葬，四周是⾼⼤繁茂的榆树。
国王厄厄提翁的妻⼦，即安德洛玛刻的母亲，被他掳⾛为奴。
后来他得到⼀⼤笔赎⾦，才将她释放回国。
她回国后，坐在纺车前纺纱，却被⼥神阿⽿忒弥斯的神箭射中⽽死。
国王的骏马佩达索斯也被阿喀琉斯夺⾛，这匹马强健有⼒，奔跑飞快，能与他的神马媲美。
他还从国王的武器库中带⾛了许多珍贵的战利品，其中有⼀只巨⼤的铁饼，它的铁如果制成⼀个农民的农具，那么⾜够他⽤五年。
除了阿喀琉斯以外，希腊⼈中另⼀个勇猛的英雄是忒拉蒙的⼉⼦埃阿斯。
