How:本课的语篇内容是以让蜡烛燃烧为题,以一个有趣的实验为主线,有了上节课关于物化学实验的铺垫,孩子们一定非常想进行动手操作。
本篇课文分为三部分,即列举出实验材料、实验步骤和实验结论。
环环相扣,目的在于提高学生的听、说、读、写技能,同时训练学生的阅读技巧,本课不但让学生亲身体验实验操作的快乐,而且通过动手操作激发了学生学习英语的积极性。
实验材料涉及到的词汇:holder、shallow、lighter。
实验结论涉及到的重点词组:use up、be made up of。
二、教学目标通过本课的学习,学生能够:1.获取关于本次化学实验操作的准备材料信息、明确实验步骤、基于看到的现象得出结论。
