精选范文一:Recently there has been some heated discussion on the family relationship The issue that families are now not as close as they used to beis a complex one, since it involves a conflict of values. In my view, the final judgment will depended on a combination of two (three) essential aspects.(原因1)Compared with the past, great changes have taken place in the size of a family life. As a result, the young people are more willing to live in their smaller family units rather than sharing the same apartment with the parents. With the time goes by, it is natural that family members are not as closed as they used to be. (原因2)Additionally, the pattern of social production as a whole also undergoes certain dramatic transformation. So the younger generation usually work under such a pressure that they seldom have enough time to stay with their parents. Gradually, The concept of a large family is fading from their minds. (原因3)Finally, the country has, for the past decades, witnessed an upsurge of scientific technology. So nowadays, a variety of modern technical devices are available. By and by, the young people find it more convenient to contact their parents through telephone or E-mails instead of staying with their parents. In view of such social phenomenon, it is imperative to takesome urgent steps. For one thing, young generation is expected to enhance their awareness that a closed family is crucial for their parents. For another thing, the media, in collaboration with government departments concerned, is obliged to take concrete measures to encourage the young people to spend more time with their family members. Only in this way can a closed family be maintained. (298 words)精选范文二:Recently there has been some heated discussion on the family relationship. The issue that families are currently not as intimate as they seem to be is a complex one, since it involves a conflict between traditional values of family unification and the modern ones . In my view, the final judgment will depend on a combination of two (three) essential aspects. At the first place, with the progress of a society, some people, the younger ones after the baby booms in particular, are more inclined to live in smaller family units. As a result, they will surely spend less time staying with their parents, thus creating certain isolation with their parents. At the second place, the change of production mode also offers a convincing interpretation of such social phenomenon. More often than not, young people, under the fierce social competition, tend to work longer hours. Under such conditions, it is not uncommon that they are deprived of any leisure moment, let alone sharing some time with their families. Gradually, the concept of a closed family fades from their consciousness. Finally, technical upsurge is also a major source of such a social observation, for if young people can resort to more effective means of communication such as telephones or E-mails, they will probably keep in touch with their families electronically rather than enjoying a dinner with them.Given the reasons above, it is safe to conclude that alienation has exerted negative impacts on the sustainable development of a family, but what measures should be taken to arrest and reverse this situation? Governments at all levels are expected to launch comprehensive projects that attach due importance to a closed family. Although these plans are geographically and culturally specific, they must contain a key element: education. By education I mean consensus among the young people that a closed family is an indispensable part in an ever-changing society. Many options still exist, and human beings can still have a bright future under a harmonious family atmosphere. As an old saying goes, “East or west, home is the best.”(344words)。

托福TPO5独立写作范文写作题目Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?People today spend too much time on personal enjoyment-doing things they like to do-rather than doingthings they should do.Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.Sample Responses:The above statement poses a hot topic on contradiction of people's personal enjoyments and responsibilities. And the speaker tends to think people now are dedicating more on personal likeness than on what they should do. Istrongly disagree with this opinion because I think that to pursue one's individual enjoyment does not contradict toassume the responsibility.Admittedly, people nowadays increasingly enjoy freedom to pursue personal enjoyment than before. As thedevelopment of democracy, the ideas and behaviors of individual are respected and encouraged to some extent. For instance, students can choose any major which they favor mostly; graduates can participate in whateverprofessions they are interested in; citizens possess absolute freedom on free press and behaviors they like. Briefly, people have much time and freedom to do their favorite things. However, spending much time on personal enjoyment does not indicate that people ignore their accountabilitywhich should be taken. Let's take a college student in art for example. Generally, students in art major shouldspend much time on reading and appreciating art history, biography of artists and art works. Yet, thestudent favorsmore on economics. He probably continues to earn his degree on art with great interest in economic as well. Or hemay pursue asecond degree on economics. No matter what his decision is, he takes his responsibility to become a worthystudent of his major. In addition, to pursue one's personal enjoyment help to assume the responsibility. People should not beblamed for their time spent on things they like. Obviously, people lived in an time teemed with tense competitionand they are often under a huge pressure. After a whole day job or a period of work, you probably make yourselfdrunk, or go for shopping crazily, or bury yourself in a series of insane music, or whatsoever you prefer. Of courseyou are most likely to become relaxed and inspired through these favorite experience. Eventually, the greatphysical and mental recreation is conducive to a better performance in your profession the next day.To sum up, it is unreasonable to separate apart what people like to do and what they should do. The pursuit onpersonal enjoyment and assumption on accountability are interwoven. They do not contradict to each other. Theeffort and time on personal enjoyment does not equal to the ignorance on people's responsibility because of theobjective requirement from each identity. Moreover, personal hobbies are good catalyst for improvement on theoriginal professions.。

In any economy, everyone is obliged to do their bit as a generator of income, to provide for their families and at the very least avoid being a burden to society. As such, we must fulfill our obligations as a main concern before, say, watching television or playing sports. If we do not, then we will fail to live up to our duties with appropriate consequences. Our failure, in this respect, cannot be placed at another’s doorstep while family, nor society, should be expected to pick up the pieces. Our duties are various, our dependents rely on us and if we all act without sufficient restraint, society cannot function.内容详细条目段落此段结构本段首句交待了我们每个人的任务。

剑桥雅思真题12-写作(Test 5 附高分范文)

剑桥雅思真题12—写作(Test 5 附高分范文)Writing Task 1You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.Write at least 150 words.参考范文1:The graph illustrates the proportion of males and females in various age groups who regularly engaged in physical exercise in Australia in 2010.Under the age of 45, the gender difference between these men and women was big in 2010. Most strikingly, 53.3% of women between 35 and 44 years old did regular physical activity while only 39.5% of their male counterparts did so. Also, between 25 and 34 years old, a higher proportion of women than men regularly engaged in physical exercise (48.9% and 42.2% respectively). In contrast, with regard to people between 15 and 24 years old, a higher percentage of males regularly exercised than that of females (52.8% and 47.4% respectively). After reaching the age of 45, higher proportions of women than men engaged in regular physical activity. There was a gap of over 10% between males and females aged from 45 to 54 (43.1% and 53.3% respectively). This gap was less prominent for 55-to-64-year-olds (45.1% formen and 53% for women). The gender difference was minimal when it came to people aged 65 and over (around 47% for both men and women). In sum, the older the men were, the lower the number of men who exercised regularly before 45, but after 45, an increasing proportion of them involved in such activities.参考范文2:The chart compares the proportion of both genders in different age groups with the habit of doing regular exercise in Australia in 2010.From this bar chart it is evident that most females aged 35-44, 45-54 and 55-64 often did exercise in their daily life, accounting for 52.5%, 53.5%, and 53% respectively. In contrast, males in these age groups showed less interest in sports, with the number standing at 39.5% (35-44), 43.1% (45-54) and 45.1% (55-64).As for the younger group aged between 25 and 34, there were 48.9% of females doing regular physical activity, almost 6% higher than their male counterparts. But things were different for those aged from 15to24.We can see that 52.8% of males in this age group did regular exercise, much higher than their female counterparts but as many as those females ranging in age from 35 to 64.It is interesting to note that almost the same percentage of both genders aged over 65 participated in regular activities, with both percentages representing approximately 47%.Overall, we can see that the majority of women do more physical activity than men.Writing Task 2You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.Write about the following topic:Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.Write at least 250 words.参考范文:In a world the globalization increasingly accelerated, the topic that whether essential information in the field of technology and commerce should be shared freely raises people’s attention. While some people declare that information need to be shared at a price, my view, however, is that free sharing information could have greater benefits. Those who are against sharing information freely base their ground on the fact that technical or scientific information is the key for companies or nations to keep an advantage in intense global competition. If they lack the ownership of these essential information, they are like to be surpassed because of the loss of competitive advantages. Another problem is that free sharing may lead to a damage of copyright, which is prone to decrease the motivation of innovation as there is no financial gains for creation.A creative worker in advertisement company, for example, tends to have negative attitude on his work once his original design is copied by others for commercial purpose. In these cases, people prefer not sharing information without any cost. However, information sharing is an indispensable way of global development on both scienceand business. That is to say, with more information shared, the collective intelligence could play an effective role to make breakthroughs which are hard to be achieved by individual. Without the knowledge shared on international conferences, for instance, people are less likely to enjoy the cutting-edge technologies in their smartphones. Under this reason, sharing information is important for the development of all of mankind. In conclusion, though there are several disadvantages for individual or business entity, sharing information is more essential for progress of human. Therefore, we are calling for not only more information to be shared, but also more international communication between scientists or companies.。

One possible version:There is much discussion nowadays as to whether or not the relationship between family members is as close as before. Diverse contributing factors can be identified. In the following, I would like to present my point of view.Great changes have taken place in family life along with the development of society. One of them is that the once-extended family tends to be-come smaller and smaller. Many children have to leave their parents at an early age to study or work elsewhere. As time passes, children become emotionally estranged from their parents.Compared with the past, social competition is becoming increasingly fierce. People are urged to concentrate their efforts upon work, so that they can achieve success, or at least a good standard of living. As a result, they can’ t afford to spend their leisure hours with their families. The importance of bonds of kinship is gradually fading from their minds. In addition, the availability of various kinds of recreational facilities al-so diverts people from enjoying chats with the members of their families. Their free time is mostly occupied by watching TV, surfing the Internet or playing video games. They come to lose interest in communicating with the other members of their families. In view of such alienation within families, urgent steps must be taken, in my opinion. For members if families who live away from one another, regular contact on the phone can bring them the care that they need. Family reunions on holidays or other important occasions can make a difference as well. For those living together, it is a good idea to take some time off work~ or recreation periods to spend more time with each other. In the final analysis, a close family relationship can surely be maintained as long as we realize the significant role it plays in our lives and attach importance to it.One possible version:Career or Degree? Every Graduate’ s DecisionAfter staying on campus for many years, some students become bored and can’ t wait to get a job. They are eager to lead a life that is less stressful intellectually and less pressing economically. In their eyes, a job can provide them with opportunities to solve problems that will demand a combination of both academic and practical knowledge. However, some students plan to continue their education in pursuing has her degree. As Far as academic preparation is concerned, the knowledge and skills acquired at an undergraduate level are far from adequate in the job market. It is a fact that an ever-increasing number of graduates are returning to school, motivated by the need to update their knowledge and enhance their skills. The news that graduates with higherdegrees are better off is a directresult of the shrinking job market. All this indicates that a bachelor’ s degree can hardly qualify students for a competitive position. If I were able to choose for myself, I would prefer to stay and pursue an M.A. degree. I know my choice would mean a commitment of time and money. Opportunities, however, always take the form of hardships and risks. The days might be rigorous and painstaking, but they would certainly be fulfilling and rewarding, and would surely lead to a prosperous future. Some people claim that staying in a place all one’s life is good for one’s growth, while others disagree with the view, and they prefer changing the place. Write an article to express your point of view on this topic. One possible version:Do you prefer staying in a place all your fife? There is a widespread concern over whether it’ s a bad thing that people live in a place all their life. But it’ s well known that one man’ s meat is an-other man’s poison.A majority of people think that staying in a place for a long time is a better c hoice. In their views there are two reasons contributing to this attitude as follows: i n the first place, people who stay in one spot can develop a fife-time friendship, a nd such a friend will give a hand without hesitation if trouble comes. In the second place, when people move to different places, they usually are under pressure from strangeness. A person may feel lost and tense in a place where streets, stores a nd schools are all different. As a saying goes: Fear always springs from ignorance.People, however, differ in their opinions on this matter. Some people hold the i dea that people shouldn’ t live in one place through their fives. In their point of vie w, on the one hand, people who spend a lifetime in one location can be locked int o a limited way of life. A real problem is that life lacks passion. On the other hand, those who move frequently have a variety of outlooks. There is a chance to appr eciate different ways 9f life.As far as I am concerned, I finally agree the view that people shouldn’ t stay i n a place all their fives. It’ s not only because people can broaden their vision in different places, but also because fear will disappear with time. There is no doubt t hat nothing brave nothing hasWrite an article titled as “Knowledge Economy”. You should write it according to th e following outline.Outline: (1) A new knowledge economy age is coming near.(2) What is “knowledge economy ”(3) The knowledge economy age presents both opportunities and challenges to us.One possible version:Knowledge economy was still something unheard of just a decade ago. But to day it has become a household word and is on everybody’s lips. Knowledge econo my is not only a concept now, but will be a reality in near future. At the turn of th e century, a new knowledge economy age is approaching us.In the 1980s, when people talked about the Third Wave and the post industrial society, knowledge economy remained a concept yet to be crystallized. However, i n the 1990s, with knowledge playing an increasingly vitalrole in every sphere imagi nable of our economic life, a knowledge-based economy is gradually taking shape. Simply shated, knowledge economy is a kind of economic system based on the pr oduction, storage, distribution and consumption of knowledge and information produ cts. Knowledge economy is knowledge-intensive, energy-saving as well as environm ent-friendly. In the knowledge economy era, economic development relies heavily o n science andtechnology. For example, the information industry in the US has already ac-cou nted for 10% of its gross domestic product and is expected to enjoy a further incre ase in the years to come. This imminent knowledge economy age presents both vast opportunities and im mense challenges to every nation. Worldwide competition in knowledge and informa tion, science and technology, inventions and patents, nature a land human resource s will become even more fierce. As the saying goes, "Knowledge is power", and s o the gap between countries, in the final analysis, is the gap of knowledge. To me et these challenges posed by knowledge economy, our country should raise the ov erall quality of her labor force and cultivate more and more specialized personnel.Section IV Writing(计25分,权重25%)One possible version:People have different opinions on the effect of television on children. Some thi nk that it is good for children to watch "IV while others believe that television is ba d for children. In my opinion, most of the effect TV has on children is bad.By the time children reach school, they have spent up to one-third of their wa king hours in front of the television. Because they just sit back and let thing happe n to them while watching TV, they become passive. As we allknow, children are inventive and they have the ability to imagine a whole worl d of their own. But what happens when their imagination is not needed, when TV does all the imagination for them? Obviously, these kids are not going to grow up as inventive and imaginative as their parents, for they have been robbed of creativ e impulses by television watching. On one hand, TV watching also forces kids into becoming consumers and then tricks them. They are surrounded by ads for dangerous toys, mind-less games, an d unhealthy foods. They force their parents to buy them, for the children themselve s are not wise enough to detect the falsity of so much advertising. On the other h and, by watching too much TV, children are over ex-posed to violence. They watch programs like murders, fights and many other crimes for hours every week, with n o adult around to tell them that life is not like that. The effect of the heavy dose o f violence is to suggest kids that violence is an ordinary way of life ,and that slugg ing, shooting and cheating are ways to succeed. The total effect of TV on children is dangerous. It is time for parents to take c harge and supervise their children’s play instead of parking them by the tube and hoping it will act as a baby-sitter. The influence of TV is so important that parents will have to be on their guard to make sure that their children are not being harm ed by exposure to it.()表示可有可无的话,字不够就加上。

剑八test5大作文You should spend about 40 minutes on this task. Write about the following topic. In some countries the average weight of people is increasing and their levels of health and fitness are decreasing. What do you think are the causes of these problems and what measures could be taken to solve them?Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. Write at least 250 words. No one could have failed to notice the fact that people in many countries have been gaining weight, which, in some cases, has so far exceeded the right proportion that it has resulted in severe problems in people’s health. Actually, this is true both in some developing countries and in some developed ones, the former exemplified by some African nations and the latter represented by the U.S.Accompanying the exploding arms and massive hips are often such problems as hypertension, heart diseases and diabetes. Before we conceive approaches to this problem, it is necessaryto contemplate the causes.Though a number of factors may be responsible for this phenomenon, the following, I believe, are the critical ones. The first and most fundamental one is the unchecked spreading of fast food around the world. Mainly having roots in the U.S. and best illustrated by KFC and MacDonald’s, this modern type of food and way of eating has met little resistance when proliferating. Though tasty and convenient, the foods are indeed threats to health. Containing too much calorie and little protein as well as other nutrients, they are known as “junk food”.What’s worse, in these foods are usually harmful instances that may hurt the neural system and lead to such diseases as cancer. Another leading reason is the wide use of modern conveniences, such as computers, autos and domestic appliances, which considerably reduce the amount of people’s manual labor and exercise, or confine them to homes or offices. In order to tackle the problem, naturally, measures should be taken in the above-mentioned two aspects. On the one hand, it is imperative for people to enhance their awareness of the harmfulness of fast food, and refrain from consuming it or gradually reduce the amount of consumption. On the other hand,it is high time for many people to start a plan to work out to lose their already gained weight and regain their health.。

雅思剑12test5小作文英文回答:The prompt asks about my favorite way of traveling. Well, I have to say that my favorite way of traveling is by plane. Flying in an airplane is not only convenient butalso exciting. It allows me to reach my destination quickly and comfortably. One of the reasons why I love traveling by plane is the speed. Airplanes can travel at incredibly high speeds, which means I can reach my destination in a fraction of the time compared to other modes of transportation. For example, a flight from New York to Los Angeles takes only about six hours, while driving would take more than 40 hours. This time-saving aspect of flying is definitely a big advantage.Another reason why I enjoy traveling by plane is the comfort it offers. Airplanes are designed to provide a comfortable experience for passengers. The seats areusually spacious and equipped with various amenities such as adjustable headrests, personal entertainment systems, and even Wi-Fi. Additionally, most airlines offer in-flight meals and beverages, allowing me to enjoy a delicious meal while soaring through the sky.Furthermore, flying in an airplane gives me a sense of adventure and excitement. The feeling of taking off and soaring above the clouds is truly exhilarating. It's like embarking on a thrilling journey to explore new places and experience different cultures. 英语单元测试卷的第五单天测试卷英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Most Exciting Summer AdventureSummer vacation is the best time of the year! No school, no homework, just lots of fun and free time. This past summer was especially exciting for me because my family went on an amazing adventure. Let me tell you all about it!It started a few weeks before the end of the school year. Mom and Dad gathered me and my little brother Joey into the living room. They had huge smiles on their faces, which made me curious about what was going on."Kids, we have a big surprise for you," Dad announced. "How would you like to go on a road trip this summer and see some amazing national parks?"Joey and I looked at each other with our eyes wide open. A road trip to national parks? That sounded like a dream come true!"Really? Where are we going?" I asked, unable to contain my excitement.Mom pulled out a map and pointed to a few spots. "We're going to drive from our home in California all the way to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, then down to the Grand Canyon in Arizona, and finally over to Yosemite here in California before coming back home."My mind was blown. Those were some of the most incredible natural wonders in the whole country! I had learned about Yellowstone's geysers and hot springs, the Grand Canyon's massive size and geology, and the towering granite cliffs of Yosemite. But I had only seen pictures. Now we were actually going to visit them in person!"This is going to be the best summer ever!" Joey yelled, and I had to agree. The weeks leading up to our trip were filled with excitement and planning. We made lists of all the things we needed to pack, from hiking gear to snacks for the road. We looked up fun facts about the parks online and made an epic playlist of road trip songs. When the final day of school arrived, we could barely sit still knowing our adventure would begin the next morning.Bright and early, we loaded up our SUV with our stuffed luggage and headed out. The first couple of days were mostly just driving, but Joey and I didn't mind. We loved looking out the windows at the changing landscapes, playing car games, and snacking on road trip treats. Every few hours we'd stop for a break to run around and let off some energy. Finally, after what felt like forever, the open roads gave way to beautiful mountain scenery and we knew we were getting close to Yellowstone. When we finally arrived, it was even more incredible than the pictures! Geysers like Old Faithful were shooting scalding hot water hundreds of feet into the air every hour or so. The colorful hot springs looked like something from another planet. And the scenery of forests, canyons, rivers, and waterfalls was just breathtaking. We spent four days exploring as much of Yellowstone as we could. We went on hiking trails where we saw bison, elk, and even a black bear from a safe distance! We walked along the Grand Prismatic Spring, which is one of the most vivid pools of water I've ever seen. And we roasted marshmallows over a hot spring, which was both really cool and kinda gross if you think about it too much. There was just so much to see and do. I didn't want to leave! But soon it was time to pack up and begin the long drive to the Grand Canyon. This was probably the most challenging part of the trip, since the drive took us through some pretty remote areas. Thank goodness for snacks, podcasts, and road games or Joey and I would have gone crazy from boredom. When we finally arrived at the Grand Canyon, though, the drive was completely worth it. Standing on the rim and looking out over the vast, carved-out landscape was unlike anything I'd ever experienced. It was so massive and stretched out as far as the eye could see. The vibrant red and orange colors of the rocks were dazzling in the sunlight. I couldn't believe something so incredible existed in nature!Over the next few days, we carefully hiked part of the way into the canyon itself. It was a little scary being so far down with towering cliffs surrounding us, but also thrilling. We saw scorpions, lizards, and other critters that make their home in the harsh desert environment. We also took a horseback trail ride along the rim, which let us cover more ground and see even more breathtaking views. After the Grand Canyon, we began our drive back toward California and our last destination, Yosemite National Park. I was exhausted from all the traveling and hiking at this point, but keptan eye out the window as the landscape changed again to the towering peaks and lush forests of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Finally, we entered the Yosemite valley with its giant cliffs like El Capitan and Half Dome on either side. The sheer size and scale of those granite formations was mind-boggling. How could rocks that enormous possibly exist? We spent time hiking among the wildflower-covered meadows and walking through towering Sequoia trees that were wider than our SUV. One day we went to a high alpine lake that was so clear you could see all the way to the bottom. On our final night of the trip, we had a big celebration cookout and wiener roast to commemorate the amazing journey we had experienced together. As we sat around the fire, s'mores in hand, Mom and Dad asked us if the vacation lived up to our expectations."It was better than I ever could have imagined!" I exclaimed. "I'll never forget all the incredible places we saw and things we did."Joey nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, it was totally awesome!I just wish it didn't have to end."But sadly, all good things must come to an end. The next morning we packed up one last time and began the drive back home to California. The car was a mess with crumbs all over and our clothes were coated in dust and dirt. We were all a little smelly from so much hiking. But we didn't care one bit. That just meant we had successful, well-earned souvenirs from the adventure of a lifetime. When we finally pulled into our driveway, I felt a little sad that our epic road trip was over. But I also felt so incredibly lucky to have experienced all those natural wonders and made so many special memories as a family. It was the best summer vacation I could have ever asked for.School started up again a couple weeks later, and my friends were all amazed to hear about everywhere I had gone over the break. I'm sure they got a little tired of me yammering on and on about it, but I just couldn't help myself. It was too awesome not to share!I'll definitely never forget that incredible summer road trip adventure. It opened my eyes to just how amazingly beautiful, diverse, and spectacular the natural world can be. I knew from that experience that I wanted to make seeking out more of those incredible places a lifelong goal. With any luck, there will bemany more exciting adventures awaiting me in the years to come!篇2My Family VacationLast summer, we went on a really fun family vacation! We drove up to the mountains for a week at a cabin by a lake. I was so excited because I love swimming and hiking and being outside in nature. The drive took forever though. My little brother Sam kept asking "Are we there yet?" like a million times. Mom and Dad had to keep telling him no and to be patient. Finally after what felt like a whole day in the car, we made it!The cabin was so cool. It was made of wood and logs and had a huge window overlooking the lake. There were bunk beds for me and Sam which was awesome. Outside there was a fire pit and a little dock going into the water. On our first full day there, Dad said we were going hiking on a trail through the woods. I was nervous because I'd never been on a real hike before, just little walks around our neighborhood. But it ended up being so much fun!We saw all kinds of cool stuff - squirrels and chipmunks scampering around, colorful birds, tall trees, and even a deer far off in the distance! Sam got tired pretty quickly though and Dad had to carry him on his shoulders for the second half. My legs were really sore after but I felt proud for making it the whole way.The next few days we spent a lot of time swimming and playing in the lake. The water was freezing at first but after a while it felt refreshing on the hot summer days. We brought pool toys and took turns riding on the purple unicorn float. We also went fishing off the dock a couple times, but didn't catch anything bigger than a tiny sunfish. One evening we had a big campfire and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. Sam got one of the marshmallows too close to the fire and it burst into flames! We all got a good laugh out of that one. The stars came out so bright and clear without all the city lights. I tried to count them but lost track after a while. On the second-to-last day, we drove about an hour to go whitewater rafting on a river. That was definitely the most exciting and a little scary at times! Our guide instructed us on how to paddle and what to do if we fell out. The rapids wereintense with the water crashing and splashing everywhere. We got completely soaked but it was a blast! All too soon, our mountain vacation was over and it was time to pack up and head home. I was really sad to leave but also exhausted from all the activities. We made so many great memories as a family. I'll never forget toasting those perfect golden marshmallows under the stars, feeling tiny compared to the towering trees, and the rush of the whitewater rapids. I hope we can go back again next summer!篇3My Awesome Summer VacationThis summer was the best summer ever! I had so much fun and did a ton of cool things. It's hard to pick my favorite parts, but I'll try my best to tell you all about it.The first really exciting thing that happened was my birthday in June. I turned 10 years old! My parents threw me a huge party篇4My Summer VacationThis summer was the best summer ever! I had so much fun and did a lot of really cool things. I can't wait to tell you all about it.The first week of summer, my family went camping at the lake. We went fishing and hiking and cooked our food over the campfire. My little brother Bobby is only 5 years old, and it was his first time camping. At first he was scared when it got dark outside, but then Dad built a big fire and we roasted marshmallows. Bobby thought that was the greatest thing ever! We also went swimming in the lake and played fun games like charades around the campfire at night. I even saw a deer up close when we were hiking one day. It was amazing being out in nature. After our camping trip, we had a big party at our house for the 4th of July. We invited all our relatives over for a cookout and fireworks display. My uncle grilled the most delicious hamburgers and hot dogs. My aunt made a beautiful red, white and blue trifle for dessert. Once it got dark, we all went outside and my cousin set off all kinds of cool fireworks. My favorite was the big one that looked like a willow tree spread out across the sky in bright green colors. We make sure to do fireworks safely in our driveway though, not near any buildings or trees. Safety first! The grand finale was so loud, it made Bobby jump but I thought it was awesome.A few weeks later, my parents took us to an amusement park for a few days. They let us go on lots of rides like rollercoasters, the Tilt-A-Whirl, bumper cars and more. I loved all the rides, but the haunted mansion scared me a little - it was so dark and creepy in there! Bobby was too little for most of the big rides, but he had a blast on the merry-go-round and driving the little cars at the kiddie park. My favorite things were the huge looping rollercoaster and playing games to win prizes. I won a giant teddy bear that was almost as big as me! We also saw an amazing acrobat show one night and went to a circus another day. It was such a fun trip. For the last few weeks of summer, we stayed home and I went to day camp at the community center. We did all sorts of activities like sports, arts and crafts, games, hiking, and even coding and robotics which was really cool. I made a few new friends and we built a robot that could move and pick things up. My favorite part was circus week when they taught us juggling, stilt walking, tightrope and more. I'm not very good at it yet but it was super fun to try! We also went on field trips to places likethe science museum and the zoo. I loved getting to see the gorillas up close. They're so big and strong! On the last day of camp, we had a talent show. I decided to do a comedy routine and told some jokes I found online. I was pretty nervous to get up on stage, but everyone laughed at my jokes so I guess I did a good job! My best friend Emma sang a song and some kids did magic tricks and dances. Bobby came to watch too, and he loved all the acts, especially the kids who did gymnastics and flips. We got freezie pops after the talent show as a special treat. That's pretty much how I spent my summer vacation. We packed in so much fun stuff! I'm sad that it's over and I have to go back to school now. But I got to make so many awesome memories with my family and friends. Writing about it makes me want to relive it all over again. Maybe next summer will be even better!篇5My Awesome Summer VacationYay! The school year was finally over, and summer vacation had arrived. I was so excited because my family was going on a big adventure! We were going to visit my aunt and uncle wholive on a farm. I had never been to a real farm before, so I couldn't wait to see all the animals and explore the great outdoors. The journey to the farm took a few hours by car, but it didn't feel too long because my little sister and I played fun road trip games. We tried to spot different colored cars, sang silly songs, and even made up ridiculous stories about the places we passed by. My parents seemed a bit tired from the driving, but they didn't mind our constant giggles and chatter. When we finally arrived at the farm, my aunt and uncle greeted us with big hugs and even bigger smiles. Their house was a cozy little place surrounded by fields of crops and a big red barn. As soon as I stepped out of the car, I was greeted by the most amazing smells – fresh air, wild flowers, and the earthy scent of the soil. It was like nothing I had ever experienced in the city!My uncle gave us a grand tour of the farm. We got to see the cows grazing in the pasture, the pigs rolling in the mud (which looked like so much fun!), and the chickens clucking about. But my favorite part was definitely the barn. Inside, there were horses, goats, rabbits, and even a friendly old barn cat. I couldn't believe how close I could get to all these amazing creatures. The horseswere so tall and majestic, and the goats were just hilarious with their silly antics.Over the next few days, I got to help out with some of the farm chores. I learned how to collect eggs from the chicken coop, feed the pigs their slop, and groom the horses with a big bristle brush. It was hard work, but it felt so rewarding, especially when the animals seemed to appreciate my efforts with contented snorts and cheerful neighs. One of the highlights was going for a ride on one of the big horses. With my uncle's help, I climbed up onto the saddle and gripped the reins tightly. At first, I was a bit nervous, but as we trotted along the dusty trails, I felt like a real cowgirl! The gentle rocking motion of the horse and the warm summer breeze in my face made me feel so free and alive. In the evenings, we would all gather on the porch and watch the sunset. The sky transformed into the most beautiful shades of pink, orange, and purple. As the night fell, we could see millions of stars twinkling above us – something you could never see properly in the city with all the light pollution. Sometimes, we would even spot a shooting star streak across the sky, and I would make a secret wish. All too soon, it was time to leave the farm and head back home. I was sad to say goodbye to all the animals, but I made my aunt and uncle promise to let us visit again next summer. As we drove away, I gazed out the window and thought about all the amazing memories I had made. I couldn't wait to tell my friends about riding horses, cuddling baby goats, and seeing the most beautiful sunsets. This was definitely the best summer vacation ever!篇6My Summer VacationThis summer was the best summer ever! I had so much fun and did lots of cool things. First, my family went on a big trip to the beach. We stayed in a beach house right near the ocean. Every morning I would wake up and run outside to look at the waves. The ocean is so big and pretty! I loved playing in the sand and making sandcastles. My little brother and I had competitions to see who could make the biggest one.One day, we went on a boat tour to look for dolphins. The tour guide said we might see some if we were lucky. About halfway through, I saw some fins sticking out of the water! I shouted "Dolphins! Dolphins!" and everyone rushed over to myside of the boat. We saw a whole pod of dolphins swimming and jumping through the waves. It was amazing! The dolphins were so graceful as they leaped out of the water. I took a million pictures hoping to capture one mid-jump.After the beach, we went to visit my grandparents who live on a farm upstate. My grandpa has cows, pigs, chickens and even a couple horses on his farm. He showed me how to milk the cows and collect the eggs from the chicken coop. I got to ride one of the horses too! Her name was Daisy and she was very gentle and sweet. I was a little scared at first because she was so big, but I got the hang of it quickly. We walked all around the farm and I even got to help my grandpa feed the pigs their slop.I loved being on the farm and getting to see all the animals up close. But it was also pretty smelly with all the animal poop everywhere! My grandma showed me her huge garden where she grows all kinds of delicious fruits and vegetables. We picked strawberries, tomatoes, cucumbers and squash. She taught me how to make strawberry jam from the strawberries we picked. It was the most delicious jam I've ever tasted! For the Fourth of July, we went into town for the big fireworks show they have every year. We got there super early to get a good spot on the hill overlooking the football field wherethey set off the fireworks. My brother and I ran around playing tag and trying to roll down the grassy hill. Finally after what felt like forever, the fireworks started! Bright colors exploded across the dark sky - red, blue, green, purple, yellow. Some looked like smiley faces or stars. My mind was blown by the huge booming sounds and amazing lights. I stayed up way past my bedtime but it was totally worth it.Towards the end of the summer, my family took me and my brother to an amusement park for a fun day trip. We rode so many crazy rollercoasters! My favorite was the Superman ride where you fly through the air like you're the Man of Steel himself.I screamed at the top of my lungs the whole time. We also went on the Scrambler, which spins you around in a million directions.I thought I was gonna puke! We played tons of games too and won some prizes. I picked out a huge teddy bear that was bigger than me!On the car ride home, I fell asleep holding my teddy bear. I had such an awesome summer full of adventures and fun memories. I got to do so many cool things that I'll never forget. From swimming in the ocean to riding horses to watching fireworks light up the sky, it was all amazing. I'm so lucky I got to have the best summer ever! But now I'm excited to go back toschool and see all my friends again. We're gonna have a blast sharing our summer vacation stories!。

The news that graduates with higher degrees are better off is a directresult of the shrinking job market. The days might be rigorous and painstaking, but they would certainly be fulfilling and rewarding, and wouldsurely lead to a prosperous future.篇二:Knowledge EconomyWrite an article titled as “Knowledge Economy”. You should write it according to the following outline.Outline: (1) A new knowledge economy age is coming near.(2) What is “knowledge economy ”(3) The knowledge economy age presents both opportunities and challenges to us.One possible version:Knowledge economy was still something unheard of just a decade ago. But today it has become a household word and is on everybody’s lips. Knowledge economy i s not only a concept now, but will be a reality in near future. At the turn of the century, a new knowledge economy age is approaching us.In the 1980s, when people talked about the Third Wave and the post industrial society, knowledge economy remained a concept yet to be crystallized. However, in the 1990s, with knowledge playing an increasingly vitalrole in every sphere imaginable of our economic life, a knowledge-based economy is gradually taking shape. Simply shated, knowledge economy is a kind of economic system based on the production, storage, distribution and consumption of knowledge and information products. Knowledge economy is knowledge-intensive, energy-saving as well as environment-friendly. In the knowledge economy era, economic development relies heavily on science andtechnology. For example, the information industry in the US has already ac-counted for 10% of its gross domestic product and is expected to enjoy a further increase in the years to come. This imminent knowledge economy age presents both vastopportunities and immense challenges to every nation. Worldwide competition in knowledge and information, science and technology, inventions and patents, nature a land human resources will become even more fierce. As the saying goes, "Knowledge is power", and so the gap between countries, in the final analysis, is the gap of knowledge. To meet these challenges posed by knowledge economy, our country should raise the overall quality of her labor force and cultivate more and more specialized personnel.。

The line graph describes some data about the percentage =》是不是可以改成 The line graph describes the percentage。

aged 65 and over =》aged 65 and older ?As can be seen from this line graph, there is an increasing trend in the number of old people in three countries.More precisely, the percentage of population went up gradually from 9% in 1940 to 15%in 1982 and it will remain stable at 14% in 2018(那个国家?).After that(去掉?),the proportion of population aged 65 and over is expected to reach 23% in 2040.Similarly(跟什么说similarly,前后说的好像不一样),the proportion of population age 65and over in Sweden accounted for 7% in 1940 to 26% in 2040(对将来数据的预测,时态是否不对?).While,the percentage of population aged 65 and over in USA remained steady at 5% by the end of 2008,After that, there is a substantial surge and occupies at 27% in 2040(对将来数据的预测,时态是否不对?).Therefore,it shows that the percentage of 65+ people are soring moderatelyin the next three decades.(未来三年应该是数据预测,不是shows吧。
