My dad was a used car salesman. Every Thursday night, he would head off to Shreveport, LA for an auction (拍卖会). Most of the time, I drove a car over there for him so he could sell it at the auction. One day I was riding with my dad when he noticed a hitch-hiker (搭便车的人) with a backpack. Without hesitation, he pulled the car over and offered him a ride. Dad asked him his name, and proceeded to talk to him about all sorts of things. Dad asked him where he was going. The hitch-hiker told him that he was heading for the west. I can’t recall why but he told Dad a lot of things that had occurred to him and that persuaded him to make that decision. He talked about the tragic events that occurred to him several years before. He was in low spirits, but I could see that the hitch-hiker’s attitude was changing as someone was really listening to him.We drove 45 minutes before the hitch-hiker got off. We pulled over and Dad told him to keep his head up and things would start looking up for him soon. He reached into his pocket and handed the hitch- hiker a twenty-dollar bill. The guy smiled. He nearly lit up right there on the cold, dark highway. We drove on and my dad did not say a single thing. I was still completely surprised by what I had just witnessed. I was always told by everyone never to pick up a hitch-hiker and yet my dad did it every single time he saw one. While reflecting upon that story I came to understand that just one single kind act could change someone’s life. And I am sure that my father’s deed made that poor man’s day.4.What made the hitch-hiker become less upset?A.The writer’s father talking to him about all sorts of things.B.The writer’s father offering him a free ride.C.The writer’s father really listening to him.D.The writer’s father agreeing to drive him to his destination.5.When his father helped the hitch-hiker, the writer ___________.A.was deeply moved B.strongly disagreedC.admired his father D.couldn’t understand6.Which of the following words can be used to describe the father?A.Wealthy.B.Warm-hearted.C.Far-sighted.D.Adventurous.7.What’s the writer’s main purpose of writing this text?A.To tell a story of his father.B.To show his respect for his father.C.To prove his father is the best teacher.D.To advise people to learn from the hitch-hiker.What you do after studying could have a big effect on how well you learn and remember. Today on Education Tips, we will explore two no-cost ways that can help you improve your learning: wakeful rest and sleep. When many students finish studying, they often go straight to another activity. Perhaps they look at their phone or computer. They might even play a video game or watch television. But research suggests that resting after your study may help you remember what you have studied. The basic idea is this: by stopping your activity after the study, your brain gets a chance to rest. Resting is difficult when you are playing computer games. While this might sound unusual to you, many studies have explored the benefits of resting after learning—what is called “wakeful rest”.A 2019 study found that both young and older adults were able to better remember information they learned after doing wakeful rest.If you want to give “wakeful rest” a try, here are a few simple things to do. Rest quietly for five to ten minutes. Do not look at your phone, read stories or play games. It is really that easy!Besides wakeful rest, sleep is also important for learning. The Division of Sleep Medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS) notes that sleep helps people to learn in two ways. A report on the school’s website explains that “a sleep-deprived person cannot focus attention well and therefore cannot learn well”. It also says, “Sleep itself helps us to memorize and that memorizing is very important for learning new information.”The National Sleep Foundation (NSF) suggests that adults between the ages of 20 and 64 get between 7 and 9 hours of sleep per day. Teenagers may need a little bit more, and people over the age of 65 may need a little less.Try to get some “wakeful rest” after a study. Then try to get a good night’s sleep. That’s it—a simple, no-cost way to help you remember what you learn.8.What is paragraph 3 mainly about?A.The importance of sleep.B.The good ways to get a rest.C.The reason for having a rest.D.The types of resting activities.9.Which activity might be recommended shortly after studying?A.Reading a newspaper.B.Playing a video game.C.Sitting there doing nothing.D.Having a nice sleep at night.10.How long should teenagers sleep each day according to NSF?A.Less than 7 hours.B.Just 7 hours.C.No more than 9 hours.D.Around 9 hours.11.What can be a suitable title for the text?A.Low-cost Tips on Working B.Good Things to Do After Your StudyC.Why Do We Need to Have a Good Sleep?D.How Long Should We Rest AfterLearning?Exams are brain-burning. The silence of the hall; the beating of the clock; the watchful eye of the teacher; the proud expression of the person who has finished 15 minutes early. So it is not surprising that those who feel anxious in the exam do worse than those who do not. But different from the existing(现存的) point of view, the recent study by Maria Theobald shows that the pressure of revision affects(影响) your exam performance. To test this idea, Dr Theobald worked with 309 German students who were preparing for their final exam. During the 100 days before the real exam, these students used an online learning app which showed them old exam questions and recorded their performance. And 40 days before the real exam, they also took a mock(模拟) exam. Their levels of anxiety were also be recorded and assessed(评定), every day for 40 days before the real exam and also on the day of that exam. The result was not what she expected. Anxiety on the day of the test did not predict(预测) exam performance at all. It was the level of knowledge in the mock exam and the earlier practices that predicted it. Those who performed well in the mock exams also did well in the real test, no matter how anxious they were on the day.It turned out that what really affected students were high levels of anxiety during the weeks before the exam. The greater a student’s anxiety in the days before the exam, the lower his or her knowledge gain was. To reduce this anxiety, she gives some advice for students when they revise. First, they can raise their confidence in their own abilities by reminding(提醒) themselves of how much they know. Second, they can diminish the importance of the test by reminding themselves that, though it is important, it is not a life or death situation. It really isn’t.12.What influences exam results according to the existing view?A.Exam levels.B.Exam schedule.C.Pressure from the exam hall.D.High expectations(期望) from teachers. 13.How did Dr Theobald go on the study?A.By asking students some questions.B.By collecting the data(数据).C.By asking experts` advice.D.By following students’ performances. 14.What does the underlined word “diminish” probably mean in the last paragraph?A.Reduce.B.Influence.C.Realize.D.Understand. 15.Which of the following is the suitable title for the text?A.Never Too Late to Revise B.Never Put Off Revision till TomorrowC.Anxiety in Revision, Failure in Exam D.The More Pressure, The Better ResultsPeer PressurePeer pressure is a part of life. 16 This peer group may be of similar age but can also be defined by other commonalities (共同点), including motherhood, professional affiliations, and your local neighborhood.Peer pressure is not always negative. Trying to fit into a healthy social group, for example, of peers getting good grades, joining sports teams, and making plans for their futures, is positive.17 Peer influence can show you there is support, encouragement, and community available to you. By seeing someone else do something positive, you may reflect on your own life choices, goals, and where you spend your time.18 Being pressured by peer, whether it happens in person or online, may shake your sense of identity and self-confidence. For example, you may feel pressure to do unsafe things that have risks you may not fully know.19 You can also work on surrounding yourself with more positive influences. Some ways of coping with peer pressure include:● Not spending time with people who pressure you to do things that feel wrong or dangerous.● Learning to say “no” and practicing leaving situations that feel unsafe or uncomfortable.● Talking to a trusted peer or professional (teacher, counselor) if you have problems saying “no” or are feeling pressured to change something about yourself.● 20In the journey of life, peers influence our steps. If you embrace positive guidance and stand firm against negativity, you can become the architects of your own story.A.Some refer to this type of peer “pressure” as peer “influence”.B.It can be direct or indirect, positive or negative.C.It is any type of influence that comes from a peer group.D.Getting over peer pressure means not accepting the negative influence of others.E.While peer influence can improve your life, peer pressure can cause problems.F.Feeling pressured to do things that may make you feel bad about yourself is unhealthy.G.Befriending people who have a positive influence.二、完形填空Jenna had graduated from middle school and was ready for new 21 in high school.22 , high school was different. 考试前紧张难以入眠听音乐缓解的英语作文
考试前紧张难以入眠听音乐缓解的英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Music to Soothe the Pre-Exam JittersMy name is Jamie and I'm in the 5th grade. I love going to school and learning new things, but sometimes all the tests and quizzes make me really nervous. Whenever there's a big test coming up, I find it super hard to fall asleep at night because my mind is racing with worries. Will I remember everything I studied? What if I miss a really easy question? I toss and turn for hours, stressing about the exam.Last week, we had our annual state testing for math and reading. I had been studying like crazy leading up to the tests. My mom quizzed me with flashcards every night after dinner. My dad even hired a tutor to come once a week to go over practice problems with me. I really wanted to do well, but as the test days got closer, I started feeling more and more anxious. The night before the first test, I could not fall asleep at all. I tried counting sheep (that never works for me). I tried closing my eyes and clearing my mind (yeah right!). I even did some deepbreathing exercises my gym teacher taught us, but my brain would not shut off. I kept picturing myself sitting at my desk, staring at the test with my mind going blank. What if I failed?? My parents would be so disappointed in me.After hours of lying awake feeling stressed, I finally got out of bed around midnight. I tiptoed downstairs to the living room, trying not to wake up my parents and little brother. Maybe watching a little TV would help relax my mind before the big test day. As I grabbed the remote, I noticed my dad's noise-canceling headphones on the side table. He sometimes wears those to listen to music or podcasts when he's doing work from home.On a whim, I put the big headphones on and opened up a music app on my phone. I found one of my favorite pop songs and hit play. At first, the pounding beat and energetic vocals didn't seem super calming. But as I closed my eyes and focused on the melody, I felt my racing thoughts starting to slow down. The music filled my head, leaving less room for anxioustest-taking scenarios. After that first song ended, I put on a mellower playlist with some acoustic guitar tracks. I stretched out on the couch, letting the gentle strumming and soft crooning voices wash over me. With the headphones on, I was in my own little bubble, awayfrom the pressures of school and that looming test. Just me and the music.I don't even remember falling asleep that night. One minute I was tapping my toes along to a folksy love song, the next I was blinking awake to my mom gently shaking my shoulder. Apparently, I had crashed right there on the living room couch, the headphones askew but still playing my sleepy song playlist on repeat."Jamie? Did you sleep out here all night?" my mom asked with a confused smile."I guess so," I yawned, sitting up and rubbing my eyes. To my surprise, I felt completely rested and refreshed. All my worries from the night before had melted away.Mom laughed, "Well, as long as you got some sleep before your test today! Are you feeling ready?""You know what? I actually am feeling ready," I told her. And I really meant it. For once, I wasn't nervous at all about the big exam. The music had helped calm my anxious thoughts, allowing me to fall into a peaceful, worry-free slumber.I spent that whole test day in a zentrance (I just made up that silly word for my newfound zen-like trance state). Any time Istarted feeling stressed, I simply replayed snippets of my sleepy song playlist in my head. The melodies centered me, pushing away any rising angst. I ended up breezing through both tests, filling in bubbles with confidence.Needless to say, when I got my scores back a few weeks later, I totally aced both the math and reading exams! My proud parents took me out for a celebratory dinner, insisting I order a second dessert because I had worked so hard. Honestly though, I think the real key to my success was discovering the power of music to lull me into a good night's sleep before test day. From then on, anytime I started feeling pre-exam jitters, I'd queue up my de-stress playlist for a relaxing listening session. The songs had melodies and rhythms that just made sense to my brain in a way that words or numbers didn't in those panicky moments before a major test. Just put on the headphones, hit play, and let the music transport me into a state of focused calm.Did you know that certain songs can even physically change your brain waves? Music with a strong bass line and steady beat can supposedly sync up your brain waves to a slower frequency, kind of like tuning an instrument. Those slower alpha and theta brain waves are what you experience when you're chilled out and daydreaming. That must be why those playlist jams helped ease篇2The Night Before the Big TestI tossed and turned in my bed, staring up at theglow-in-the-dark star stickers on my ceiling. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't fall asleep. My mind was racing with thoughts about the huge test I had to take the next day at school. It was the end-of-year exam that covered everything we had learned in 5th grade - math, reading, science, you name it. I had been studying like crazy, quizzing myself with flashcards and rereading my notes over and over again. But now that the test was just hours away, I was a bundle of nerves. What if I blanked out and couldn't remember anything I had studied? What if I failed the test and had to repeat 5th grade? I knew I shouldn't have waited until the last minute to cram, but I had put it off, thinking I had plenty of time. Now my procrastination was coming back to haunt me.I looked over at my math workbook on my nightstand. I had worked through so many practice problems, but would it be enough? I wondered if I should spend a little more time reviewing concepts like fractions and long division. Then I glanced over at my reading books. I had read all the assigned novels, like Charlotte's Web and The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. I had diligently answered all the comprehension questions at the end of each chapter. But what if the test asked about some obscure detail I had missed? A bead of sweat formed on my brow just thinking about it.I kicked off my covers, the sheets tangled around my legs. I was way too worked up to sleep. Maybe I should tire myself out doing jumping jacks or running laps around my room? No, that might wake up my little brother in the next room over. He was probably sleeping like a rock without a care in the world.I flopped back on my pillow with a huge sigh. At this rate, I would be a zombie at school the next day from exhaustion. That definitely wouldn't help my test performance any. What could I do to calm down and hopefully get some rest? That's when I remembered the awesome new wireless headphones I had gotten for my last birthday. I always found listening to music really relaxing and soothing, especially at night. Maybe some tunes could drown out the anxious thoughts swirling through my brain.I grabbed my headphones off my desk and queued up a long playlist of my favorite songs on my iPod. As the openingnotes of "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift came through the headphones, I already started to feel a little better. I snuggled back under my covers and let the familiar melodies wash over me.Song after song, I concentrated on the lyrics and melodies instead of obsessing over the test. An hour must have gone by before I realized how relaxed and sleepy I had become. The last thing I remember before drifting off was "Fireflies" by Owl City filling my ears.I woke up the next morning feeling rested and much less anxious than the night before. As I got dressed and ate my breakfast, I went over some quick test-taking strategies in my head: Read each question carefully, don't rush, make sure to answer in complete sentences on the writing portion, and double check my work. Practical advice, not panicky thoughts. When I got to school, I said a quick prayer under my breath before heading to the classroom where the tests were being administered. I felt calm but alert, like a surfer waiting forthe perfect wave to arrive. Bring it on, I was ready!Over the next few hours, I diligently worked my way through the various sections of the test. Whenever I started to feel myselftense up, I mentally hummed a few bars of a favorite song to relax. It seemed to do the trick each time. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I bubbled in the very last answer on the test booklet and closed it with a sense of relief and accomplishment. I had given it my absolute best effort thanks to getting a good night's sleep listening to music. As I turned in my test, I flashed a smile at my teacher. She probably thought I was just happy the test was over. But the real reason I was beaming was because I knew in my heart that the music had come through for me once again. Listening to upbeat, soothing tunes had been just what I needed to calm my pre-test nerves and jitters. From that night on, anytime I face a super stressful situation, I make sure to have my headphones and a kicked-back playlist ready to go. A little music therapy does wonders when my mind is racing and I need to chill out. It's like magic in the form of melodies and lyrics! So if you ever find yourself freaking out before a big event, don't be afraid to tune in and tune out all that nervous energy. Just queue up your favorite artists and let their tracks transport you to a stateof peaceful focus. And who knows, you might evencatch yourself humming a few happy notes when it's all over and you nail it!篇3The Night Before the Big TestTossing and turning, I couldn't get my mind to stop racing. The big math test was tomorrow and I was a bundle of nerves. No matter how tightly I squeezed my eyes shut or how many times I fluffed my pillow, sleep just wouldn't come.I had studied really hard for this test. Mom and Dad had helped me go over multiplication tables, long division, fractions - you name it! In class, I paid extra close attention whenever my teacher Mr. Jenkins was going over a concept I didn't fully understand. I even stayed after school a few times to get extra help. But now the night before the test, my mind was overwhelmed with worries. What if I got stuck on a long division problem and ran out of time? What if I mixed up my multiplication tables for 6s and 7s? What if my brain just went totally blank when I got the test paper in front of me? The more I tried not to think about all the things that could go wrong, the more worked up I became.I looked over at my nightstand clock. 12:38am. I had been laying awake for hours now. I knew I needed to get some sleep or I'd be a zombie at school tomorrow. But how could I calm my anxious mind? That's when I remembered the new CD player my parents had given me for my birthday last month. I loved listening to music and had been really enjoying putting that CD player to use. Maybe some soothing tunes could help lull my racing thoughts and allow me to finally drift off to dreamland.Very carefully so I didn't wake my little brother sleeping in the next room, I slipped out of bed and tiptoed over to my desk where the new CD player sat. After grabbing a CD case, I opened it up and selected a disc that had always made me feel relaxed - one of those "Nature Sounds" albums with ocean waves, bird calls, and other peaceful outdoor noises.Placing the CD into the player, I pressed play and adjusted the volume so it was just loud enough for me to hear clearly, but not so loud that it would disturb the rest of the house. Grabbing my headphones, I tucked myself back into bed, letting the tranquil sounds of gently lapping water and a breeze rustling through trees envelop me.As I focused on the recording, I could vividly picture myself on a remote beach, turquoise waves lazily rolling up the pristine white sand. A light offshore breeze smelled of salt and made the palm trees sway in a relaxing rhythm. There were no math tests here, only peace and calm.Slowly but surely, I could feel the tension melting out of my body. My mind quieted as I concentrated on the soothing nature sounds. Before I knew it, my eyelids grew heavier and heavier until finally, I drifted off into a blissful, worry-free sleep. The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the big math test. While I was still a little nervous, theall-consuming panic from the night before had melted away. As I got ready for school, I kept replaying the relaxing beach sounds from the CD in my mind, letting them continue to calm me.At my desk that morning, staring down at the test paper, I felt prepared and focused rather than frazzled. Whenever I started to feel that old anxiety creeping back in, I took a few deep breaths and imagined myself back on that serene shoreline. Between the good studying I'd done and the clear mind I was able to take the test with, I ended up acing it!From then on, whenever I started feeling really stressed or overwhelmed about an upcoming test, big project, or anythingelse, I made sure to listen to my nature sounds CD before bed. The relaxing music and peaceful outdoor noises never failed to clear my head and allow me to sleep soundly.I'm so grateful my parents gave me that CD player and that I remembered to use it during that panicked night before the math test. If I hadn't been able to get a good night's sleep, who knows how I would have done! Listening to calming music turned out to be the perfect antidote to pre-test anxiety and restless nights. I don't know what I'd do without my trusty nature sounds CD to help me relax and recharge. A good night's sleep makes all the difference when you've got a big day ahead!篇4Music Helps Me Sleep Before Big TestsI'm just a kid, but I have to deal with a lot of stress and anxiety, especially when it comes to big tests at school. My parents and teachers are always telling me how important it is to do well on tests, and I get so nervous thinking about it. Sometimes I lie awake at night unable to sleep because I'm worried about an upcoming test. That's when I turn to my secret weapon - music!Music has this almost magical power to calm me down and relax my mind when I'm all worked up about something. When I'm tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep because I can't stop thinking about that huge math test tomorrow, I simply put on my headphones and let the soothing sounds take me away. For me, certain types of music work better than others when I'm trying to de-stress before a test. I find that slow, gentle, instrumental music without any words is the most effective at quieting my busy brain. The mellow tunes of a guitar or piano can quickly turn my racing thoughts into a peaceful stream. Classical music from composers like Mozart and Beethoven is perfect because it's so beautiful and relaxing without any lyrics to distract me.Sometimes I'll listen to nature sounds too, like the calming noises of rainfall, ocean waves, or even forest sounds with birds chirping. Anything that's slow, steady, and rhythmic seems to activate this magical sleepy switch in my brain. The music distracts me from my worries and lulls me into a state of serenity.I have certain songs and playlists that I go to specifically for helping me fall asleep before tests. They're like old friends that I trust to be there for me when I'm feeling anxious. Just putting onthose familiar melodies instantly puts my mind at ease because I associate them with drifting off to peaceful slumbers. It's not just at bedtime that music helps me de-stress for tests though. Sometimes I'll listen to calming tunes throughout the day leading up to a big exam too. If I'm having trouble concentrating while studying because I'm feeling nervous and anxious, I'll pop in my earbuds and let the soothing sounds clear my head. The music creates this imaginary force field around me that blocks out worries and negative thoughts so I can focus.Being able to relax is so important when you're getting ready for tests. If your mind is a jumbled mess of anxiety and insomnia, it's really hard to do your best work. That's why having a tool like music to calm me down is invaluable. It's like a reset button that restores my mind to peace and tranquility.I don't think I'd be able to get through school with my sanity intact if I didn't have music to turn to when I need to de-stress and relax. It truly is a magical, healing force in my life that has the power to wash away worries and usher in a profound sense of peace and calm.As I get older, I'm sure life will bring many more challenges that cause anxiety and insomnia. But no matter what stresses come my way, I know I'll always have my music there to get methrough. All I have to do is pop in my earbuds and let those soothing melodies work their magic. The power of music to relieve my worries and help me sleep is an invaluable gift that I'll cherish forever.篇5The Night Before the Big TestI tossed and turned in my bed, my mind racing with thoughts about the big test tomorrow. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't fall asleep. My stomach was all knotted up and my heart was pounding. I was so nervous about the math exam! What if I blanked out and couldn't remember anything I studied? What if I got all the questions wrong? I squeezed my eyes shut tightly, trying to clear my head, but it was no use. Images of dreaded word problems and long division danced in my mind.I looked over at my nightstand and my eyes fell on my portable CD player. Maybe some relaxing music would help calm me down so I could finally get some sleep. I put on my big puffy headphones and pushed play. The first few notes of my favorite Mozart album filled my ears and I immediately started to feel a little better. I took some deep breaths, letting the beautiful melodies wash over me. As the music played, I imagined myself floating peacefully on a quiet pond, the sun beaming down warmly. With each breath, I could feel the knots in my stomach loosening up. My racing thoughts started to slow down. I stopped worrying about what might happen on the test and just focused on the present moment and the gorgeous piano music. When the first track ended, I didn't even realize that I had already drifted off to sleep. I slept so soundly and peacefully through the whole night, with the music gently playing in my ears the whole time. The next morning, I woke up feeling completely refreshed and ready to tackle the test. As I sat down at my desk, I realized how calm and focused I felt, thanks to finally getting a good night's rest.During the exam, anytime I started to feel a little anxious, I just mentally hummed a few bars of my favorite Mozart tunes. It was like my own personal lullaby that instantly put me at ease. The melodies cleared my mind so I could concentrate fully. When the teacher passed out the tests, I took a deep breath, visualized myself back on that peaceful pond, and got to work. To my delight, all the concepts I had studied suddenly came flooding back to me. I diligently worked through each problem, double checking my work.By the time I turned in my test, I felt so proud of myself for keeping my cool under pressure. I knew I had given it my best effort. As I headed out to recess, I couldn't stop smiling, feeling so relieved that the stressful test was over. From that day on, anytime I started feeling overwhelmed with schoolwork or activities, I made sure to put on some relaxing classical music. It became my secret weapon against anxiety and stress. No matter how frazzled I felt, after just a few minutes of listening, my worries would melt away.Music has such incredible power to soothe the mind, body and soul. Those notes have magically gotten me through many a sleepless night and big test. I don't know what I'd do without those harmonious hello, my trusted melodies. Here's to many more years of great music putting my mind at ease!篇6The Night Before the Big TestAh, the night before the big test. My least favorite time of the year! All week, I had been studying hard, trying to cram as much information into my brain as possible. Math formulas, science facts, vocabulary words – they were all swirling around in my head like a tornado. I felt like my brain was going to explode! As I lay in bed that night, staring up at the glow-in-the-dark stars on my ceiling, I couldn't stop thinking about the test. What if I couldn't remember the capital of Wyoming? What if I mixed up the properties of solids, liquids, and gases? What if I spelled "rhythm" wrong? (That's always been a tricky one for me.)My stomach was doing somersaults, and my heart was racing like a cheetah on the hunt. I tossed and turned, but no matter what position I tried, I just couldn't get comfortable. The more I thought about the test, the more anxious I became. After what felt like hours of restless squirming, I glanced at my digital clock. 11:47 PM. Ugh, I still had so many hours to go until morning. At this rate, I was never going to get any sleep! That's when I had a brilliant idea. Music! Music always helped me feel calm and relaxed. Maybe if I listened to some soothing tunes, it would help clear my mind and lull me into a peaceful slumber.Quietly, so I wouldn't wake up my little sister in the next room, I tiptoed over to my desk and grabbed my trusty headphones. I plugged them into my tablet and opened up mymusic app, scrolling through my playlists to find the perfect one for the occasion.Ah, there it was: "Calming Classics." This playlist was filled with gentle, instrumental songs that always made me feel like I was floating on a cloud. I hit "shuffle" and let the music wash over me.The first song that came on was Clair de Lune by Debussy. As the soft, rippling notes of the piano filled my ears, I could already feel my body starting to unwind. I closed my eyes and imagined myself lying in a field of wildflowers, watching the clouds lazily drift by in the bright blue sky.Next up was Gymnopédie No. 1 by Erik Satie. This piece was so simple and sweet, like a lullaby. I pictured myself rocking back and forth in a cozy rocking chair, surrounded by the warm glow of a crackling fireplace. As the playlist continued, I was transported to a world of tranquility. Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata made me feel like I was floating in a peaceful, moonlit lake. Pachelbel's Canon in D was like a gentle summer breeze caressing my face. With each passing song, I could feel the tension and anxiety melting away. My muscles relaxed, my breathing slowed, and mymind finally quieted down. The test was the furthest thing from my thoughts as I became lost in the beauty of the music. Before I knew it, my eyelids were growing heavy, and I was drifting off into a deep, restful sleep. The last thing I remember was the soothing sound of Debussy's Clair de Lune playing in my ears, like a sweet lullaby guiding me into the land of dreams. When I woke up the next morning, I felt refreshed and rejuvenated. The worries and fears that had plagued me the night before were gone, replaced by a sense of calm and confidence. As I got ready for school, I found myself humming along to the tunes that had lulled me to sleep. The melodies were like old friends, reminding me that everything was going to be okay. When I arrived at my desk and saw the test in front of me, I took a deep breath and smiled. Thanks to the power of music, I was well-rested and ready to tackle whatever questions came my way.。

关于第二十一条电影的高中英语作文150字全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Twenty-First Movie Is So Cool!I just watched this awesome movie called The Twenty-First and I have to tell you all about it! It's set in the future, like in the year 2024 or something. There are these kids who go to school, but school is really different from how it is now.Instead of sitting at desks and listening to a teacher talk all day, the kids get to go on amazing adventures in virtual reality! They wear these special headsets that make it feel like they are actually there. In the movie, they go inside video games and history lessons and science experiments. It's so hi-tech and futuristic! My favorite part was when they went inside this cool video game and had to fight off alien monsters. The graphics looked so real, I felt like I was there with them! The kids had to use their smarts to get through the levels and beat the final boss monster. It was epic!At the end, they learned that even though technology is great, it's important to still spend time in the real world too. School in 2024 seems equal parts fun and educational. I hope school is like that when I'm older! I give The Twenty-First two thumbs up - it's a must-see movie, dudes!篇2The 21st Movie: An Epic Adventure!Hi friends! Today I'm going to tell you all about this really awesome movie that just came out. It's called "The 21st" and it's the 21st film in a super popular series. I saw it with my mom and dad last weekend and we had such a fun time! The movie is about these brave heroes who have to go on a crazy quest to find a legendary treasure. The treasure is hidden deep inside an ancient temple filled with traps and monsters! The heroes are led by a wise old wizard named Zarthon and a tough warrior princess named Ara. They have to work together as a team to solve all the riddles and puzzles blocking their way.Along the journey, they meet some wacky but lovable sidekicks who join their quest. There's Bubs, a little furry creature who is always hungry and gets them into funny messes. And then there's Vik, a clumsy robot who doesn't always work rightbut has a big heart. Bubs and Vik had me laughing so hard with their silly antics! But it's not all just fun and games. The heroes also have to face off against the evil Malcor and his gang of bumbling henchmen. Malcor wants to get the treasure for himself so he can take over the world! He comes up with all kinds of dastardly plans to stop the good guys. There are some really intense action scenes where the heroes fight skeletal warriors, lava monsters, and Malcor's powerful dark magic. My favorite part was toward the end when Ara and Zarthon reached the final chamber holding the treasure. But it turned out to be guarded by a gigantic three-headed dragon! They had to use all their skills and bravery to outwit the ferocious beast. I don't want to spoil it for you, but let's just say the dragon wasn't expecting that third twist at the end. Ara and Zarthon were so heroic! After they escaped the temple with the treasure, there was a big celebration back at their village. Everyone was cheering and dancing in the streets. It felt so satisfying to see the good guys win and watch them enjoy their reward after their long, hard journey. By the end, you just felt so happy and proud of the heroes. The 21st movie had everything - cool magic, awesome action, hilarious comedy, and an inspiring message about courage and friendship. The special effects and graphics were mind-blowing too! I can't wait for the 22nd film to find out what adventures Ara, Zarthon, Bubs and Vik go on next.If you love fantasy and adventure, you absolutely have to see The 21st. It's an epic, effects-filled roller coaster ride that the whole family can enjoy. I give it 5 million stars! Let me know if you check it out. Thanks for reading, buddies!篇3My Favoritest Movie Ever: The 21st Movie!Hi everyone! I'm going to tell you about the coolest, most awesome movie I've ever seen. It's called The 21st Movie and it's the 21st movie in a really long series of movies. I watched it with my mom and dad and we all thought it was the bestestest! The 21st Movie is about these tough dudes who have to go on a mission to save the world from the bad guys. The bad guys want to blow up the entire planet with a huge bomb! But the tough dudes are so brave and strong. They use their martial arts skills to beat up all the villains. There are so many fighting scenes and explosions. It's so exciting! My favorite part is when the leader of the tough dudes has to fight the main bad guy one-on-one. They punch and kick each other for like twenty minutes! The tough dude guy almost gets beaten but then he remembers his training. He does this crazy powerful move and knocks out the villain. Yay! The world is saved!I watch The 21st Movie again and again. It never gets boring. The heroes are so cool and the action scenes are unbelievable. If you haven't seen it, you're missing out big time! The 21st Movie is the greatestestest action flick ever made. I give it a billion out of five stars! The end.篇4My Favorite Movie - The 21st Movie!Hello teachers and friends! Today I want to tell you about my very favorite movie of all time. It's called "The 21st Movie" and it's the coolest, most fun movie ever made! I've watched it like a billion times already. The 21st Movie is about a group of funny kids who go on a big adventure. They have to save the world from these bad guys who want to steal everyone's toys and video games and candy! Can you even imagine a world with no toys or sweets? So scary! The kids in the movie are the best. There's Tommy who is the leader. He's really brave and comes up with all the good ideas. Then there's Sarah who is super smart. She knows like everything about science and computers. David is the funny one who makes jokes all the time. And Jennifer is the tough girl who isn't afraid of anything! My favorite character is definitely Buster though. Buster is a talking dog who is friends with the kids. He doesn't just bark like a regular dog. He talks and makes silly comments and he's really funny. I wish I had a dog like Buster! There are so many awesome parts in The 21st Movie that I love. Like when the kids have to sneak into the bad guys' secret lair, which is this huge castle covered in traps and obstacles. Or the part where they're riding through the air on a flying skateboard shooting jelly beans to distract the bad guys. So cool! But I think the best part is at the very end. The kids finally face off against the main bad guy who is this crazy guy with a metal suit that can shoot lasers. There's an epic battle and the kids have to use all their skills to defeat him. I was on the edge of my seat! When the kids finally win, they all celebrate by eating giant ice cream sundaes. Yum!I really want to be friends with the kids from The 21st Movie. We could go on adventures together and battle evil adults who hate fun. I'd let them pet Buster too since he seems like a great dog to have around. Maybe if I'm really good, my parents will let me get a talking dog too!Anyway, that's why The 21st Movie is the best movie ever made. It has awesome characters, cool action scenes, and it's just really really fun and exciting from beginning to end. The creators must be genius kids themselves to come up with such a great story! I've already watched The 21st Movie a billion times and I'll watch it a billion more. Three cheers for The 21st Movie - hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray!篇5My Favorite Movie - The 21st Film!Hi there! My name is Timmy and I'm a high school student. Today I want to tell you all about my very favorite movie of all time - the 21st film! I just love, love, love this movie so much. It's the best! The 21st film is about these group of friends who go on a big adventure. There's Billy who is the leader, Sara who is really smart, Tommy who tells lots of jokes, and Samantha who is alwayshungry and eating. Oh, and there's also their dog Rufus who is super cute and funny. At the start of the movie, they find out about this super special treasure that is hidden away. It's guarded by a mean old villain who doesn't want anyone to find it. But Billy and his friends really, really want to get the treasure before the villain does. So they have to go on this epic journey that takes them all over the place!Along the way, they go through a spooky forest, have to swing across a huge canyon on vines, almost get caught in quicksand, and even get chased by the villain's henchmen a few times. There's so many crazy adventures and close calls, but the friends always stick together. My favorite part is when Rufus the dog saves them all by sniffing out the bad guys.Eventually, after all their travels, they finally find the hidden treasure! It's in this sunny jungle valley that is just breathtaking. And the treasure itself is this massive golden statue that is incrusted with diamonds and rubies and all sorts of precious gems. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in a movie!Just when Billy and the gang think they've won, the mean villain shows up to take the treasure. But in a really funny and smart move, they trick the villain into falling into a pit ofquicksand! The team saves the day and gets to keep the amazing treasure in the end. Yay!I absolutely love the 21st film because it has everything - funny jokes, super cool action scenes, scary villains, adorable animal sidekicks, and tons of great friendships. Watching it makes me feel like I'm going on the big adventure too! Anytime I'm feeling down, I just pop in the 21st film and it cheers me right up.If you haven't seen the 21st film yet, you are totally missing out. It's a true classic that everybody needs to watch at least once.I must have seen it like a hundred times by now and it's still my number one favorite movie ever. I even have the lunchbox, backpack, action figures - you name it!Well, I could honestly just keep gushing about this movie forever and ever. But I don't want to spoil anymore of the awesome surprises in store if you watch it for yourself. Just do me a favor and check out the 21st film as soon as you can, okay? Your mind is gonna be blown by how incredibly amazing, exciting, and just plain fun it is! Thanks for reading my movie review. Until next time!篇6The 21st Movie!Hi everyone! My name is Johnny and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about the 21st movie that just came out. It was sooooo good! The movie is called "The Amazing Galaxy Explorers" and it's about a group of kids who accidentally get blasted off into outer space in a rocket ship. At first, they're really scared because they don't know how to fly the ship or get back home. But then they meet this super cool alien dude named Zeurx who teaches them all about the different planets and how to navigate through the galaxy.Zeurx is my favorite character because he's really funny and goofy. He has three eyes and tentacles instead of arms and legs. Whenever the kids get sad or give up, Zeurx cheers them up by telling jokes or doing silly dances. Like this one time, he got stuck in an airlock and his tentacles were flailing all over the place! It was hilarious! My other favorite part was when they visited the ice planet Frozeenia. Everything on that planet was made of ice - the trees, the houses, even the animals! The kids had an epic snowball fight against these cute little ice-blob creatures. I wished I could pausethe movie and join in. A giant ice monster attacked them too, but they used their smarts to outsmart it. Ice puns for the win!On their journey, the kids learned so many important things. Like how to work as a team, believe in themselves, and never give up when things get tough. They made it all the way across the galaxy and back home by the end! Their families were super proud.I can't wait to see the 22nd movie when it comes out. I heard the kids are gonna travel to the Candy Cosmos next - how sweet is that? Hopefully they don't get too high on sugar rushes! Hahaha!Anyway, that's my review of "The Amazing Galaxy Explorers". You have to go see it, it's astronomical! Okay, I'll stop with the space puns now. Let me know if you want me to tell you about any other cool movies. Thanks for reading, bye!。

不要沉迷抖音英语作文100词内全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Don't Get Hooked on TikTok!Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I love watching videos and playing games on my tablet after school. But there's one app that I have to be really careful with - TikTok!TikTok is an app where you can watch short videos that people have made. Some are really funny, with people doing silly dances or playing pranks. Others show cool tricks like skateboarders doing flips or amazing artwork being made. I could honestly spend hours just watching one video after another! The problem is, TikTok is designed to keep you hooked. The videos are super short, usually only 15-60 seconds. That means as soon as one finishes, you're tempted to watch the next one. And the next one. And the next! Before you know it, you've wasted an entire afternoon just watching videos. It's not just that TikTok is addicting and wastes time, though. Some of the videos are actually pretty inappropriate for kids my age. I've seen a lot of rude language, skimpy clothing, and even violence on there. No thank you!TikTok can also negatively impact your brain. By training your brain to constantly switch between different videos every 15 seconds, you can lose your attention span for longer things like books or movies. It's been proven by science!Another bad thing about TikTok is that it can make you feel really insecure and sad about yourself. You see all these glamorous influencers with perfect looks, talents, and lives. It can make you feel ugly, untalented, and like your life is boring in comparison. That's not a healthy mindset at all.I've also heard horror stories about TikTok accounts being hacked, or creepy strangers trying to communicate with kids. There are a lot of online safety risks with any app like that. My parents are very strict about protecting my privacy online. With all that being said, I'm not swearing off TikTok completely. I still enjoy watching the funny, cool videos in moderation. I just have to be really careful not to get hooked! Here are some tips I follow to avoid getting addicted to TikTok:I set a timer for 30 minutes maximum per day on the app. When the timer goes off, I close TikTok until tomorrow.I don't follow or watch any accounts that seem inappropriate or make me feel bad about myself. I keep it light and fun!I take breaks during my TikTok time, rather than just bingeing videos continuously. If I'm supposed to be doing homework or chores, I put my tablet away completely so I'm not tempted.I spend way more time playing outside, reading books, doing activities, and spending quality time with family and friends.I never give out any private information on TikTok and keep my account completely private.By following these tips, I'm able to enjoy TikTok as a fun diversion without letting it take over my life. It's all about balance and being smart! At the end of the day, TikTok can be a huge waste of time and expose you to some not-so-great stuff if you're not careful.I'd way rather spend my free time riding bikes, having fun with friends, working on hobbies, or using my imagination. Those篇2Don't Get Hooked on TikTok!Hey friends! Have you noticed how many of our classmates are always on their phones watching TikTok videos? It's becoming a huge problem and we need to be careful not to get addicted.TikTok is designed to keep you watching video after video by using smart algorithms that figure out what kinds of videos you like. The more you watch, the more accurately it can pick videos to grab your attention. Before you know it, hours can fly by!That's not good because it takes away time from important things like doing homework, reading books, playing outside, and spending time with family and friends in the real world. Getting too hooked on TikTok can also hurt your ability to focus and concentrate. Some of the videos are fun and educational, but a lot of them are silly trends or even inappropriate content we shouldn'tbe watching at our age. And we have to be careful about sharing personal information or our location online. My advice? Use TikTok in moderation and be careful not to mindlessly scroll for too long. Set a timer to limit yourself to 30 minutes per day at most. There's a whole world to experience beyond the screen! Who's with me?篇3Don't Get Hooked on TikTok!Hi friends! I'm here to talk about something that's really popular with kids our age - TikTok. You know, that app with all the funny videos and cool dances. While TikTok can be fun, I want to warn you about the dangers of spending way too much time on it. Trust me, you don't want to become a TikTok zombie! What do I mean by a TikTok zombie? Well, have you ever tried talking to your friend when they're just staring at their phone, swiping through TikTok videos? You call their name but they don't even hear you because they're in a total TikTok trance! Their eyes are glazed over and they're basically drooling on their screen. Pretty zombie-like, right? That's what can happen if you overdo it on TikTok. Your brain gets hooked on that endless stream of videos. You keep telling yourself "just one more" but then an hour goes by and you've missed hanging out with your friends or helping your parents or doing your homework. Not cool!Spending too much time on TikTok can also really mess up your sleep. I know some kids who stay up way too late at night, watching TikToks when they should be fast asleep. Then they're cranky and tired the next day at school and can't focus on their work. Their grades can start slipping because of their TikTok addiction!Another problem is that TikTok videos can sometimes give kids the wrong ideas. Like those trendy videos of people doing dangerous stunts or challenges? Please don't try that stuff at home! You could really get hurt. Or what about those beauty videos with filters that make people look perfect? That's not reality and it can make you feel bad about your actual appearance.I'm not saying TikTok is all bad. There are lots of fun, harmless videos and trends on there. My favorite is the videos of cute animals doing silly things! But you have to be careful not to overdo it and let TikTok take over your life.Set a time limit for yourself, like maybe 30 minutes per day on TikTok. Give yourself a schedule for homework, chores, spending time with family, playing outdoors, reading books - you know, normal kid stuff! Don't just sit around all day and night, zoning out on TikTok. That's how you become a zombie! If you're finding it really hard to stop watching TikTok videos, ask your parents to set screen time limits or block the app during certain hours. It's okay to ask for help breaking the habit if you need it. I had to do that for a while when I was spending wayyy too much time on TikTok and my grades started slipping. At the end of the day, TikTok is just an app. It's supposed to be something fun and harmless, not something that takes over your whole life! Don't let yourself turn into a TikTok zombie. Stay in control, keep that app in its place, and remember to live in the real world. That's where all the awesome stuff really happens anyway! So go play outside, spend quality time with your friends and family, and get back to being a kid. TikTok will still be there for a silly video break when you need it. Just don't get hooked, okay? Zombie life is no life for an epic kid like you!篇4Don't Get Hooked on TikTok!Hi there! I'm Timmy, and I'm here to tell you all about the dangers of spending too much time on TikTok. Now, I know what you're thinking - "But Timmy, TikTok is so much fun! All the cool kids are doing it!" And you're right, TikTok can be pretty entertaining. But if you're not careful, it can also become a huge time-waster and even an addiction!Let me give you an example. My friend Jake used to be really into sports and hanging out with us after school. But then he discovered TikTok, and it was like he got sucked into a black hole! He'd come to school with bags under his eyes from staying up late watching TikTok videos. During recess, instead of playing kickball with us, he'd be huddled in a corner, swiping through his "For You" page. And don't even get me started on how many times he got in trouble for using his phone in class! At first, we all thought Jake's TikTok obsession was just a phase. But weeks turned into months, and he just kept getting more and more addicted. He started neglecting his homework, his chores, and even his personal hygiene! (Sorry Jake, but it's true - you were getting pretty stinky there for a while.)Eventually, Jake's parents had to step in and set some serious limits on his TikTok usage. And you know what? After afew weeks of being TikTok-free, Jake started to become his old self again. He rejoined the soccer team, his grades improved, and he even started showering regularly! (Thank goodness.)Now, I'm not saying that TikTok is all bad. There are definitely some cool and creative videos on there. But you have to be really careful not to let it take over your life. Like my mom always says, "Moderation is key!"So how can you avoid getting hooked on TikTok like Jake did? Here are a few tips:Set a time limit for yourself, and stick to it. Maybe give yourself 30 minutes a day to browse TikTok, and then put your phone away.Turn off notifications for the TikTok app. Those little buzzes and pings can be seriously distracting and make you feel like you need to check the app constantly.Find other hobbies and activities to fill your time. Read books, play sports, hang out with friends in person - anything that doesn't involve staring at a screen! If you find yourself getting addicted, don't be afraid to ask for help. Talk to your parents, teachers, or even a counselor about setting some boundaries. At the end of the day, TikTok is just an app. It's not worth sacrificing your grades, your friendships, or your health over. So go ahead and enjoy it in moderation, but don't let it take over your life like it did for poor Jake.Remember, you're in control of your time and your choices. Make the choice to be present in the real world, not just the virtual one. Trust me, you'll be a lot happier (and well-rested!) in the long run.Okay, that's all the TikTok wisdom I've got for you today. Now go out there and live your best, TikTok-free life! (Or at least, a mostly TikTok-free life.) Stay awesome, my friends!篇5Don't Get Hooked on TikTok!Hey guys and girls! Do you love watching funny videos and dance challenges on TikTok? I bet a lot of you spend hours every day scrolling through that app. It's so addicting, right? But you know what? Getting hooked on TikTok can actually be really bad for you. Let me explain why!First of all, TikTok is designed to keep you watching video after video for as long as possible. The app uses specialtechnology to figure out exactly what kind of videos you like best. Then it shows you more and more of those types of videos to grab your attention. Before you know it, hours have gone by!It's like TikTok has this invisible force field around it that sucks you in and doesn't let you leave. You might start out just wanting to watch one video, but then you get hypnotized by the constant stream of new videos perfectly picked just for you. You lose all track of time! And you know what's really scary? The more you use TikTok, the more data it collects about what makes you keep watching. It learns your deepest interests and habits. Then it can accurately predict and control what will hook you next time you open the app! It's like TikTok is studying your brain and keeping you on a leash.Imagine a cool new video game that was designed to be crazy addictive. As soon as you started playing, it would analyze exactly what challenges excite you most. It would learn what rewards and surprises make you happiest. Then it would use that information to put you in a trance, unable to stop playing for hours and hours! That's exactly what TikTok is doing, except with short videos instead of a video game.Does that freak you out? It should! Because apps like TikTok are specifically engineered to be as addictive as possible. The people who created it are trying to capture as much of your time and attention as they can. That's how they make money - by keeping you glued to the app so you watch more ads.And you know what happens when you spend wayyyy too much time on TikTok? First, you start neglecting all the other important things in your life. You stop doing your homework, helping out around the house, reading books, playing sports, or hanging out with friends in person. Suddenly TikTok has become your entire world. But it gets even worse than that. Staring at a screen for so many hours every day is terrible for your eyes, horrible for your posture, and rots your brain. You stop being able to concentrate or think creatively. And worst of all, it can really mess up your sleep cycle staying up late at night watching just one more video.Pretty scary, huh? TikTok addiction is no joke! It can turn you into a zombie - awake at weird hours, unable to focus, unsocial, and slumped over in a dark room somewhere just mindlessly scrolling and tapping. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you can never use TikTok. Some videos on there are actually entertaining andeducational. My advice is just to be really careful about how much time you spend on it.Set a firm time limit for yourself each day - like only 30 minutes tops. Don't just sit there and binge watch it for hours on end. When your time is up, summon all your willpower to close the app and go do something else! Go play outside, work on a hobby, read a book, or hang out with your family. If you ever find yourself getting sucked into a deep TikTok trance, purposely tossing your phone across the room can help snap you out of it! Or ask your parents to set Screen Time limits on your devices so TikTok automatically shuts off after a while. The most important thing is to stay in control of TikTok instead of letting it control you. Use it as a small break between other activities, not as a way to just veg out indefinitely. And never, ever replace your real life with just watching other people's lives through a tiny screen! So be careful with that app, guys! Don't fall into the deep dark TikTok rabbit hole. Keep your usage under control, and fill your days with much better activities than just mindless scrolling and tapping. Get out there and live an awesome life in the real world! That's way more fun than wasting it all on TikTok.篇6Don't Get Addicted to TikTok/DouyinHi there, friends! It's me, your pal Jimmy. Today, I want to talk to you about something that's been bothering me lately –TikTok, or as they call it in China, Douyin. Now, don't get me wrong, I love a good viral dance challenge or a funny animal video as much as the next kid. But lately, I've noticed that some of my friends are spending way too much time on TikTok, and it's starting to affect their lives in not-so-great ways.Let me start by telling you about my friend, let's call him Tommy. Tommy used to be one of the coolest kids in our class. He was always the first one to finish his homework, and he was really good at sports, too. But ever since he discovered TikTok, things have changed. Nowadays, Tommy spends all his free time scrolling through TikTok videos, trying to learn the latest dance moves or just mindlessly watching one video after another. At first, I didn't think much of it. I mean, we all have our hobbies, right? But then I started noticing that Tommy was falling behind in school. He wouldn't finish his homework on time, and he'd often doze off in class because he'd stayed up late watching TikTok videos. His grades started slipping, and he evenstopped playing sports because he said he didn't have time for it anymore. And you know what's really sad? Tommy doesn't even hang out with his friends anymore. He's always glued to his phone, watching TikTok videos or trying to film the perfect clip for his own account. It's like he's living in a different world, and the rest of us are just background characters. But Tommy isn't the only one. I've seen other kids in our school become addicted to TikTok, too. They're always checking their phones, even during class, and they get really upset if they can't watch their favorite TikTokers' latest videos. Some of them have even started copying the risky stunts they see on TikTok, which is really dangerous! And let's not forget about the privacy concerns. TikTok collects a lot of data about its users, including their location, their interests, and even their faces (if they use the app's filters). That's a lot of personal information to be sharing with a company, especially when you're just a kid.So, what's the solution? Well, I'm not saying you should never use TikTok or Douyin again. That would be pretty boring, and I know how much fun it can be to watch silly videos or learnnew dance moves. But it's important to use the app in moderation and not let it take over your life. Here are some tips for staying in control of yourTikTok/Douyin usage:Set a time limit for yourself. Maybe you can only use the app for an hour a day or only on weekends. Whatever works for you, just make sure you stick to it.Don't neglect your other responsibilities. School, homework, chores, and spending time with friends and family should always come first.Be careful what you share. Don't post anything that could embarrass you or reveal too much personal information.Take breaks from the app. If you find yourself getting too obsessed with TikTok, take a few days off and focus on other activities.Keep an eye out for risky or dangerous challenges. Don't try anything that could potentially harm you or others. At the end of the day, TikTok and Douyin are just apps. They're meant to be fun and entertaining, but they shouldn't be the center of your life. There's so much more to the world than viral videos and dance challenges. So, go outside and play withyour friends, read a good book, or learn a new skill. Trust me, you won't regret it.Alright, friends, that's all I've got for you today. Remember, moderation is key when it comes to TikTok/Douyin. Don't let it take over your life, and always prioritize the things that really matter, like your education, your health, and your relationships with loved ones.Stay awesome, and I'll see you next time!Your pal,Jimmy。

1 Read the program information below and answer the questions. 1 What do you think the children will do when their televisions and video games are taken away? I think after televisions and video games are taken away, children’s attention will go to other indoor and outdoor activities. For indoor activities, they can play with toys, they can play cards, puzzles and so on; for outdoor activities, they can engage themselves in gardening, boating, camping etc. So without TV, children will have more interesting and fun things to do.
使用手机对眼睛造成伤害的真实事件英语作文
使用手机对眼睛造成伤害的真实事件英语作文The Dangers of Phones for Your EyesHi, my name is Jamie and I'm in 5th grade. I used to love playing games and watching videos on my phone for hours after school. But then something scary happened that made me realize how dangerous phones can be for your eyes if you're not careful. It all started when my best friend Tommy showed up at school one day with an eye patch on. I asked him what happened and he told me a terrifying story. The night before, he had been laying in bed playing on his phone without his glasses on. His little brother came running into the room and accidentally smacked the phone right into Tommy's eye! It caused a corneal abrasion, which is a scratch on the clear front part of his eye. The doctor said he had to wear the patch for a week to let it heal and he couldn't use any screens during that time. I couldn't imagine going a whole week without TV, video games, or my phone!Tommy's accident was my first wake-up call about how harmful phones can potentially be if you get careless with them near your eyes. But it wouldn't be the last incident I'd witness.Just a few weeks later, my classmate Sophia had something even worse happen.Sophia loved watching makeup tutorial videos on her phone at night after she got ready for bed. One night she was so engrossed in a video that she didn't realize her phone battery was almost dead. When it finally ran out of power, the screen just went black without warning right in front of her face. Sophia was mere inches away, staring straight at it. The sudden change in brightness caused a terrible migraine headache...so bad that she threw up and had to go to the emergency room! The doctor said she had suffered eye strain, which can lead to blurry vision, dry eyes, headaches and even nausea.I felt awful for Sophia having to go through that. And it made me realize how easy it is to overwork your eyes by constantly staring at those tiny phone screens for too long. Dr. Williams, the eye doctor, came to our school to give a talk explaining more about this issue.Dr. Williams said the main problem is that phone screens emit a lot of blue light, which is very straining and fatiguing for our eyes over extended periods. He said we should always try to view phones with ambient lighting in the room, rather than in total darkness which is much more stressful for the eyes. Takingfrequent breaks is also crucial when using phones or tablets for a long time. The doctor gave us all kinds of creepy warnings about other incidents he has seen related to phone eye injuries. Like people going temporarily blind from a bright camera flash going off in their eyes at close range. Or little kids burning holes in their retinas from staring directly into the concentrated LED light on their parents' phones. So scary!Dr. Williams strongly recommended that kids wear blue light blocking glasses anytime we plan to look at a screen for more than an hour or two. I begged my parents to buy me a pair after his talk. Lots of my classmates did the same and now half the kids at school wear orange tinted glasses when using tablets or computers. We probably look pretty funny, but it's way better than messing up our eyes!Despite being more careful now, I still managed to have my own painful phone eye incident several months later. I had just started getting into this new game that all the cool kids were playing. You basically just tap the screen as fast as you can to defeat enemies and score points. Well, I got extremely into this game one weekend and played it literally non-stop from morning until night, barely taking any breaks.By Sunday evening, my thumb was sore and fatigued from excessively tapping the screen at high speed for hours on end. But even worse, my eyes felt really strained, almost like they were burning and crossing from doing so much intense close-up focusing. I complained to my mom about it and she made me stop playing and put ice packs on my eyes. Apparently I had developed eye strain from concentrating so intensely on that tiny moving target without letting my eyes rest. It's amazing how easy it is to overexert your eyes when you get sucked into gaming or watching shows on a phone or tablet screen. Our eyes simply weren't designed for that amount of extended, uninterrupted device usage. They need breaks just like any other part of the body after strenuous activity. My friend group has a new rule now that any time one of us gets together at someone's house, we have to put our phones away in another room while hanging out. It's sort of like a "phone break" so our eyes can actually relax and reset between screen time sessions. Some parents even take away our phones entirely for periods after we've been overusing them.I also try to stick to the 20/20/20 rule that the eye doctor taught us - every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for at least 20 seconds. This gives your close-up focusing muscles achance to relax before straining them again on the screen. Taking frequent mini-breaks like this can go a long way in preserving healthy eyes while still being able to enjoy technology. At night before bed, I make an effort to avoid any bright screens entirely for at least an hour or two. The blue light can trick your brain into thinking it's daytime and disrupt your body's natural sleep cycle and circadian rhythms. Instead of gaming or watching videos right up until bedtime, I try to read books, listen to podcasts, or just decompress screen-free. My eyes feel so much better after unwinding away from devices.I know putting limits on technology usage can be really hard for kids (and adults) these days since our phones and tablets are everywhere and so entertaining. But after the numerous eye incidents I've witnessed, I realize how crucial it is to moderate device habits and build in breaks. Your eyes are priceless and once they're damaged, it's extremely difficult to undo.So now anytime I get tempted to binge watch a show or mindlessly scroll for hours on TikTok, I remind myself of Tommy's corneal scratch, Sophia's migraine trip to the ER, and my own sore, burning eyes after too much gaming. Those memories motivate me to be more balanced with device timeand protect my eyes from overexposure to those glaring screens. Because being able to see clearly and comfortably is way more important than any video or app could ever be.I know I'm just a kid, but I hope sharing these real-life experiences will help reinforce the message about using phones and devices responsibly. Your precious eyesight is not something to take for granted...trust me, we've all learned that lesson the hard way! Moderation is key when it comes to preserving healthy vision in the digital age. Now if you'll excuse me, it's time for me to give my eyes a break from this big essay I've been typing on my tablet. See ya!。

我的心愿帮妈妈做家务英语作文450字
我的心愿帮妈妈做家务英语作文450字全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Wish to Help Mom with ChoresEver since I was a little kid, I've always looked up to my mom. She's the most hardworking person I know, constantly putting in long hours at her job while also coming home and taking care of all the household chores. From cooking our meals to cleaning the house to doing the laundry, she does it all with a smile on her face, never complaining even though I know she must be absolutely exhausted by the end of the day.I remember one day a few years ago when I came home from school to find mom passed out on the couch, still in her work clothes. She must have been so drained from her routine that she couldn't even make it upstairs to bed before falling into a deep sleep. As I stood there watching her sleeping form, I felt a pang of guilt realizing how little I was doing to help lighten her load around the house. That's when I decided I needed to step up and start pitching in more with the chores and housework. No longer would I bethe typical lazy kid who leaves everything for his mom to take care of. From that day on, I vowed to do whatever I could to make her life a bit easier, to take some of the burden off her shoulders. She had done so much for me over the years, working tirelessly to provide for our family, and it was time for me to return the favor in whatever small way I could. At first, it was just little things like clearing my dishes after meals or taking out the trash without being asked. But gradually, I started tackling bigger tasks like vacuuming the floors, doing my own laundry, and even trying my hand at cooking simple meals. Was I an expert housecleaner or chef? Definitely not. There were plenty of half-cleaned rooms and overcooked or underseasoned dishes along the way. But mom always appreciated the effort, no matter how imperfect the results.Seeing how much of a difference those small acts made in lifting her spirits and relieving some of her stress inspired me to keep going. I made it my mission to learn all the skills needed to run a household efficiently - everything from properly loading the dishwasher to getting stubborn stains out of clothing to meal planning and budgeting for groceries. Sometimes it felt like I was stumbling through the dark, resorting to looking up onlinetutorials or calling my grandmother for advice. But little by little, it all started clicking into place.Looking back now, I can't believe how little I knew about basic housekeeping and how much I've learned over these past few years. What was once a chore has become almost second nature to me. Making the bed each morning, washing the windows, scrubbing the bathroom - these are all just part of my regular routine now, no longer a big deal. And seeing the look of relief and gratitude on mom's face when she comes home to a clean house and a home-cooked meal waiting for her makes all the effort worth it.Of course, I know I'll never be able to fully repay my mom for everything she's sacrificed to give me the best life possible. But I hope that by shouldering more of the domestic responsibilities, I'm at least able to ease her burden in some small way and give her a chance to put her feet up and relax after getting home from work. She's spent years taking care of me; now it's my turn to take care of her.My daily goal is to make mom's life a little bit easier, one household task at a time. Whether it's doing the dishes, folding the laundry, or vacuuming the floors, I try to tackle whatever chores I can to give her a well-deserved break. It's the least I cando to thank the most selfless, hardworking person I know for her endless love and dedication to our family. Someday when I'm older, I hope to be as amazing a parent as she is. But for now, keeping our household running smoothly is how I plan to show my appreciation. So that's my heart's desire - to be the helpful, responsible son who goes out of his way to make things easier on his mom after all the years of sacrifice she's made for me. It's a simple wish, but one I take very seriously. Because taking care of your parents is one of the most important duties a child can have. And if achieving that goal means getting my hands a little dirty doing chores and housework everyday, then it's a small price to pay for giving back to the person who gave me everything.篇2My Heartfelt Wish: Helping Mom with the ChoresEver since I was a little kid, I've watched my mom tirelessly juggle caring for our family and maintaining our home. She's the hardest worker I know, but I often worry she takes on too much. That's why my greatest wish is to take some of that burden off her shoulders and help out more around the house.Mom rises before the sun each morning, starting her day around 5 AM. By the time the rest of us groggily stumble out of bed, she's already made breakfast, packed lunches, and begun tackling the never-ending cycle of laundry, dishes, and cleaning. I've lost count of how many times I've found her elbow-deep in soapy water or pushing the vacuum across the floors when I wake up.After getting my siblings and me ready for school, Mom heads off to her job as a nurse. She works a grueling 12-hour shift, constantly on her feet providing compassionate care to countless patients. I have such deep respect for the vital work she does, but I know it leaves her absolutely exhausted by the time she gets home in the evening.Despite her fatigue, Mom still musters the energy to cook a hot, nutritious dinner for our family every night. I can't imagine how she finds the strength after such a long day. Once we've eaten, she dives right back into housework mode - loading the dishwasher, wiping down counters, sweeping floors. Sometimes I'll catch her washing loads of laundry at 10 or 11 at night, still keeping that endless cycle going. On her precious days off, instead of resting and relaxing like she deserves, Mom spends her time deep cleaning, runningerrands, paying bills, and trying to catch up on everything that fell by the wayside during the work week. I feel awful watching her spent those days off still working harder than anyone I know. That's why, more than anything, I wish I could take over some of Mom's neverending household responsibilities to give her a well-deserved break. I may only be a kid, but I'm old enough now to pull my weight more. I want to start doing extra chores like laundry, washing dishes, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms without being asked. I'll make my bed each morning and keep my room tidy without being reminded. Anything I can do to ease Mom's workload would mean the world to me.Mom constantly puts the needs of our family first while somehow making it all look effortless. But I know how exhausting all that invisible labor is for her. If I could make one dream come true, it would be to shower her with the appreciation, help, and rest she truly deserves. Seeing the relief on her face as I take over some of her chores would be the greatest gift. I just want to make her proud and give back to her even a fraction of what she selflessly gives our family every single day.篇3My Wish to Help Mom with ChoresI always feel bad when I see my mom working so hard around the house. She gets up early to make us breakfast, packs our lunches, does loads of laundry, vacuums, dusts, washes dishes, and so much more. On top of all the housework, she also has a full-time job to go to every day. I really admire how she manages to do it all without complaining. But I know it must be exhausting for her.Sometimes when I get home from school, instead of helping out, I just plop myself on the couch to watch TV or play video games. Then mom has to nag me to pick up after myself or do my chores. I feel guilty because I know I should be lending a hand without her having to ask. She does so much for me and my siblings—the least I can do is pitch in around the house. That's why my biggest wish is to start helping my mom more with the housework and errands. I want to ease her burden and make her daily life a little bit easier. Even just doing small tasks like loading the dishwasher, folding the laundry, or vacuuming my room would take some of the pressure off her. I could also help out by doing yardwork like mowing the lawn, raking leaves, or shoveling snow in the winter.Helping more around the house would not only make things easier on my mom, but it would also teach me important life skills about being self-sufficient. Right now I heavily rely on my mom to do everything for me. But I'm getting older, and I'll eventually need to know how to cook, clean, do laundry, and manage a household on my own. If I start pitching in now, those skills will come in handy later when I'm living on my own.I feel like such a grateful, responsible kid when I do help out with chores. It makes me happy to see the burden lifted off my mom's shoulders, even if just for a little while. She works herself to the bone taking care of all of us, so being able to return the favor feels amazing. Helping out is the least I can do to show my appreciation for her. I know life would be much harder for our family if we didn't have her constant love, support, and household duties to rely on.So that's my heartfelt wish—to start pulling my weight more and giving my wonderful mom the extra help she truly deserves around the house. I don't want her working harder than she needs to any longer. It's time for me to stop taking her efforts for granted and be the respectful, responsible son she raised me to be. I'm determined to step it up and be "mom's helper" from now on!。

I feel so bad After watch these video, the nazi took these innocent people just as a mouse. They perform the brutal and inhuman experiment and most victim be killed during the experiment and died in a short time after the experiment. So if our human being really will become a demon without law and morality.
But unfortunly , Japanese gov still try to cover what they did in WW2, and refuse to apologize to our victims. Even nowadays ,Japanese leader has been visited the yasukuni shrine and commemorate the WW2 criminal every year . It hurts the nation and the country of victims so hardly. The history of human body’s experiment is not only a history of fascism’s aggression, but also a humiliation history of our human beings. To reveal this history, what should us do ?
As a public health student, we should get the more knowledge of what is outburst- public -health -events is. Like how these events be classified and how to prevent it and control the epidemic situation. Like last year ,MERS happened in korea. because the public health department did something wrong, it made korea suffering plenty of losses. In peace time , we lost some economic benefit, but in war time , we might lost our life.
So from this video , i also realized to be a health staff, they have lots of work and also they must has responsibility for that。
