Say:We have inventions everywhere . Inventions make us live easily and happily. Without inventions,our lives will be much more difficult. Today,we will know about a few inventions and talk about the history of them.

Show the pictures of inventions on the screen:a car,a Tv set, a telephone, a calculator ,a computer, shoes, slippers and a scoop.
Make a coversation with a student.

S: It is /They are ….
T:Who was it/were they invented by?
S:It was/They were invented by ….
T:When was it/were they invevted
S It was/They were invented in ….
T:What is it/are they used for?

Then work in pairs.
Check them by calling some pairs act the conversations out to the class.
