传话游戏是平时经常和学生们玩的游戏,方法是用耳语的形式把老师给的句子在一组中传递,最后又快又正确的获胜。
分两轮进行,每一轮三组。
第一轮三组传的内容老师安排的是歌曲中的歌词,第二轮传的内容是Let’s visit Uncl e Jack’s farm.意旨引出新授内容。

The first period
Teaching aims:1.通过本课教学,学生整体上感知课文的内容。
2.通过本课教学,学生重点感受到哪些词是用来表示即将发生的事情:be going
Teaching points:指导学生从整体上理解课文所要表达的意思。

Teaching procedure:
一、warm up
1.review unit10 words: a movie, an amusement park, a museum, money, a bus, a dinosaur
Ways: 1.teacher says each word, student tell teacher
“ chinese meaning”
2. constitutions: the first student say a word, the second student says what the first student says and plus another the next word he/she have learned
3. review: uncle Booky’s blackboard
Request: teacher set situation, e.g teacher says: it’s Saturday, I have no homework, so let’s play football, boys. Ask students imitate.
二、presentation
1.T: today, we are going to learn unit 11.( write the title)
Guess: farm meaning
T: there are so many animals in a farm. Such as horses, chicken, cow. So farm may be means?
2. students learning by themselves
(1) requirement:
Reading by themselves and underlining some words or sentences that they can’t read or understand.
(2) check out
If students ask some questions, teacher does not answer first, instead
ask “ if anyone can help her/ him”, if no, the teacher answer students’s questions at last. Meanwhile wri te these new word on black board: sunny, cloudy ,rainy, snowy, fine, windy, weather, report.
3. learn each content of a picture:
(1) play VCD
Requirement: students should listen carefully
When each the content of the picture ends, teacher must ask the students Chinese meaning. Whether right or wrong, teacher encourage students to guess.
(2) play the whole dialogue in a time
Purpose : It is very important that students set up an utter undersdanding.
4. practice: new words
Activity: 1)write each of word phonetic symbol and encourage students to try to say each word which student say words is very quickly and clearly.
5. students read dialogue
Check: ask a good student read this dialogue to the rest of students and teacher. When she/he has read, ask other students talk about their opinion.
三、homework
Listen to the tape, and read the dialogue.
