本单元共分为7课时,本课为第三课时,属于单课会话课,是一节新授课:本课以放学后Gao Wei的妈妈到校接他,遇见了他的新朋友Dick和Dick的妹妹为场景进行会话教学。

引出要学的目标语言“How old is she?”及其答语。

要求学生能在本单元前两课学习的基础上,用新单词cute、smart形容人的外貌及性格特征。
