青少年是否应该做家务的英语作文
青少年是否应该做家务的英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Should Teenagers Do Chores? An Essay by a KidHi! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. My teacher Mrs. Roberts asked us to write an essay about whether teenagers should have to do chores around the house. I have some strong opinions on this subject!First of all, what are chores? Chores are little jobs and tasks that need to be done to keep a house clean and running smoothly. Things like washing dishes, vacuuming floors, folding laundry, and taking out the trash. Boring stuff like that. Yuck!My older brother Dylan is 15 years old, and he hardly ever does any chores. My parents are always nagging him to clean his super messy room and help out more. He just lays around playing video games and says "I'll do it later!" But later never comes.I think teenagers definitely should have to do chores, and here's why:It teaches them responsibility. Doing chores gives teens a sense of being responsible and accountable for something. Having that responsibility helps them prepare for being an adult one day when they'll have lots of responsibilities like paying bills, having a job, etc. If teens just get everything done for them, how will they learn to be responsible? It shows them teamwork. In a family, we all have to work together as a team to keep the house running smoothly. If the teens don't pitch in and only the parents do all the work, that's not fair! We're all part of the same team. Doing chores teaches teens how to be a team player. It helps them appreciate their parents. I'll be honest, cleaning and doing chores is hard work! It's easy for teens to take it for granted when they just live in a clean house without having to lift a finger. But if they have to do some of that hard work themselves, it'll make them appreciate their parents more for doing so much.It builds life skills. Doing laundry, cleaning, cooking simple meals - these are all skills teens need to learn before going off to college or living on their own. If they never do any chores, they'll be clueless about how to take care of themselves when theymove out. Learning these basic skills through chores prepares them for adulthood. It keeps them grounded. Some teens can get a bit full of themselves and have an inflated ego, acting all selfish andself-important. Having to do normal chores like everyone else in the family can help keep them grounded and humble. Even celebrities have to do dishes sometimes! Those are my main reasons why I believe it's a good idea for teenagers to have to pitch in with chores and responsibilities around the house. Sure, it's no fun to have to stop playing video games or hanging out with friends in order to clean your room or wash the car. Teens everywhere will complain about it. But in the long run, it's good for their character and life skills. My brother Dylan definitely shouldn't be able to just sit around all day while my parents do everything. That's not fair at all! He should have a weekly list of chores to do, just like I have a short list of simple chores. Maybe taking out the trash, cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming, stuff like that. It wouldn't be that hard if he stopped being so lazy!Of course, I don't think teens should have to spend all their free time slaving away on chores after school and homework every day. They still need time to be teenagers - hanging outwith friends, playing sports, going to dances, etc. Everything in moderation. Maybe they have to do a couple chores per day or per week. Not an overwhelming amount, but enough to learn responsibility. It's all about finding a balance. Too much chores and teens will revolt. Too little and they'll turn into spoiled brats (no offense Dylan!). Parents have to be reasonable but also firm that the teen does their fair share to help out around the house. So in conclusion, I think it's absolutely essential for teenagers to have to do chores and not just leave all the housework to their parents. It teaches them crucial life skills, responsibility, humility, and appreciation. It shows them the importance of being a team player and sharing the workload. These are all incredibly valuable lessons that will help prepare teens to go off and be successful, responsible adults in a few years.Phew, I'm getting tired of writing now. But I hope Mrs. Roberts thought this was a good essay! Let me know if you agree or disagree with me after reading it. Thanks for reading, gotta go now before my mom gives me MORE chores to do!篇2Should Teenagers Do Chores?Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm a 4th grader. Today I want to talk about a super important question - should teenagers have to do chores around the house? This is a really big deal in my family because I have two older siblings who are 15 and 17 years old.My parents are always getting mad at them for not helping out enough. There's yelling and fights about whose turn it is to do the dishes or take out the trash. My brother says he has too much homework to do chores. My sister says chores are "stupid" and she wants to just hang out with her friends after school instead. Meanwhile, my mom is run ragged doing all the cooking, cleaning, and laundry by herself when she gets home from work.In my opinion, teenagers absolutely should have to pitch in and do their fair share of chores at home. Here are the main reasons why I think that:It teaches responsibility. Doing chores is one of the first ways kids learn to be responsible and do their part for the family. If you don't make your teenager do any chores, they'll just goof off and play video games all day. Then when they grow up, they won't know how to take care of themselves or a home. Chores teach basic life skills! It's practice for the real world. Pretty soon, those teenagers will be all grown up and either going to college or getting a job and place of their own. Well, no one is going to do their laundry, cook their meals, and tidy up after them anymore! Teenagers need to practice doing household tasks so they'll be ready for adult life. It's only fair. The parents work really hard all day at their jobs to provide for the family. When they come home, they shouldn't have to do absolutely everything around the house too. It's not fair for the kids to just make messes and leave it all for mom and dad to clean up. Pitching in is the right thing to do.It builds character. Doing chores helps build good characteristics like discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and appreciation for all the work it takes to run a household. Kids who never have to lift a finger grow up entitled and lazy. Chores make you a better, harder-working person. It's good exercise. Lots of chores like vacuuming, mopping, yard work, and washing windows are physical activities that get you moving instead of just laying around. Doing chores keeps you active and healthy. Now, I know what some of you teenagers might be thinking - "But Jamie, I'm too busy with school, sports, a job, etc. I don'thave time for stupid chores!" Well, I have a couple points to make about that:First of all, everyone is busy! Your parents have busy jobs, I have busy days at school, but we still have to get stuff done around the house. Chores don't go away just because you're busy.Secondly, if you split up the chores and take turns doing different ones, it's really not that much work per person. Like maybe one person cooks dinner one night, another does the dishes, someone else takes out the trash and recycling, etc. If everyone pitches in a little, no one has to do everything.Lastly, if you really dont have time during the week because of school and activities, you can make it up with bigger chores on the weekends or vacations. Things like yard work, cleaning out the garage, washing the cars, and doing loads of laundry are perfect weekend jobs.So in conclusion, I strongly believe that yes, teenagers 100% should have to do chores around the house! It teaches responsibility, prepares you for adult life, is only fair to your hard-working parents, builds good character, and even gives you some exercise. Sure, chores aren't super fun, but they are an important part of life.If every member of the family, including the teenagers, does their small part to help out each day or week, it prevents mom and dad from getting overloaded. It also shows that you appreciate all the work they do for you by returning the favor a little bit. Plus, pitching in together creates habits of teamwork, sharing responsibilities, and keeping an orderly home - skills you'll really need when you grow up and have your own place someday. So Parents, stop letting your teenagers be lazy couch potatoes! Put those video game controllers down and make your teens do their chores. And Teenagers, stop complaining and realize that helping out around the house is just part of being a respectful, responsible member of the family. We're all in this together! That's my take on the big chore debate. Thanks for reading my essay! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go take out the trash before my mom gets home...篇3Should Teens Have to Do Chores? An Essay by MeHi! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. My teacher Mrs. Thompson asked us to write an essay about whether kids my ageand a little older (called 'teens') should have to help out around the house by doing chores. This is what I think:Doing chores is super important! My mom is always telling me and my little brother that we have to pitch in and help out with housework because keeping a home clean and tidy is a lot of hard work. She says "many hands make light work" which means if everyone chips in, the workload isn't too heavy for one person.I have a few regular chores that are my responsibility. Every morning before school, I make my bed and tidy my room. After school, I clear the table after dinner and load the dishwasher. On Saturdays, I vacuum the downstairs rooms in our house. I don't really mind doing these jobs because I know they need to be done and my parents work really hard at their jobs all week.My biggest chore is walking our dog Rufus every day after school. Sometimes I grumble about having to do it if the weather is bad or I'm tired from sports practice. But then I remember how lucky I am to have a funloving pup to play fetch with! Walking gets me outside for fresh air too which gives me energy. So even though it's a chore, it's also fun.Chores help me learn skills like being responsible, managing my time, and doing tasks without complaining too much. Theseare important things to know for when I'm a grown-up one day. Doing housework also makes me appreciate how hard my parents work and how messyour house can get if we all don't pitch in together as a family. Some of my friends think chores are totally unfair and that they shouldn't have to do anything around the house. Their parents do everything for them. But I think that's silly! Their parents must get very tired. And those kids will struggle when they move out because they've never learned to look after themselves properly. It's much better to share the workload.Of course, chores have to be appropriate for teenagers' ages. You wouldn't ask a little kid to mow the lawn or use harsh cleaning chemicals. But age-suitable jobs like loading the dishwasher, folding laundry, cleaning their rooms, and doing yardwork are all good practice. As you get older, you can take on bigger responsibilities.I really don't mind chores and I think it's unreasonable for teens to refuse to help out at home. We make messes and use things in the house, so we should share in the work of taking care of our home environment. It's practising for adulthood and it brings families closer together when everyone contributes.Maybe some teens think it's cool to be lazy slouches, but I'd rather be a capable, helpful person who takes pride in doing their part. If I have kids someday, I'll for sure have them doing chores! It makes you feel good about yourself. Don't you want to grow up to be a responsible grown-up instead of a slobby couch potato? Those are my thoughts, anyway. Chores build good character in my opinion and all teens should pitch in around the house within reason. We're part of a family unit and everybody has to share the workload. It's not difficult and it teaches us discipline. What do you think - should kids have chores or not? Let me know!篇4Should Teenagers Do Chores? An Essay by a KidHiya! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. My teacher Mrs. Robinson asked us to write an essay about whether teenagers should have to do chores around the house. Well, I have some strong opinions on this topic!First off, what even are chores? Chores are little jobs and tasks that need to be done to keep a house clean and running smoothly. Things like washing dishes, vacuuming, taking out thetrash, mowing the lawn, and folding laundry. Basically, all the boring stuff that adults seem to hate doing! In my humble opinion, I think teenagers absolutely should have to do chores. Why? Well, there are lots of good reasons! It teaches responsibility. Doing chores helps teenagers learn to be responsible and do their part. If they had their parents do everything for them, they might grow up being really lazy and entitled. Chores show that everyone has to pitch in.It gets them ready for real life. One day, teenagers will be all grown up and have their own houses or apartments. Doing chores now gets them prepared to be able to take care of themselves and a home when they're older. Imagine a teenager who never did any chores trying to live on their own - they'd be totally lost! It's good exercise. Lots of chores like vacuuming, mopping, yard work and more involve physical activity. It keeps teenagers from just laying around all day and gets them moving, which is good for their health. It's fair. Why should parents or younger siblings have to do all the chores while the teenager gets to do nothing? Thatdoesn't seem very fair to me. The whole family should pitch in, including the teenagers. It builds good habits. Getting into the habit of doing chores regularly when you're a teenager can help build a good routine. Then when they're older, doing chores and keeping an orderly home won't seem like such a big deal.Of course, I'm sure there are teenagers out there who hate doing chores and think they shouldn't have to. Maybe they feel like they're already too busy with school, activities, sports and a job. Or maybe they just think chores are their parents' responsibility since it's their house. But I don't buy those arguments! First of all, everyone is busy - that's no excuse. Doing just a couple chores a day doesn't take that long. And sure, it's their parents' house, but the teenager lives there too! They make a mess and contribute to the work that needs to be done, so they should help out.If I had to do chores as a teenager, I would probably complain about it at first. But I know it would be building good character for me. It would make me a harder worker, more responsible, and better prepared for adulthood. Who knows, I might even feel a sense of pride and accomplishment after a long day of chores! So in conclusion, teenagers should 100% have to do chores around the house. It's an important part of becoming a mature, capable adult. Moms and dads, don't let your teenagers get away with being lazy couch potatoes! Put those young'uns to work and have them start doing their fair share. The sooner they learn, the better. Thanks for reading, gotta go take out the trash now!篇5Should Teenagers Do Chores? An Essay by a KidHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. Today I'm gonna write an essay about whether teenagers should have to do chores around the house. It's a really important topic that kids my age don't think about too much, but I reckon we should!First off, what even are chores? Chores are little jobs and tasks that need to be done to keep a house clean and tidy. Things like washing the dishes, vacuuming the floors, taking out the trash, folding laundry, that kind of stuff. Grown-ups seem to hate doing chores, but I actually don't mind them that much. It's kind of satisfying to tidy up your room or help clean the kitchen.Anyway, the big question is - should teenagers have to pitch in and do chores, or should they be allowed to just kick back andrelax after school? I think they definitely SHOULD have to do chores, and here's why:It teaches responsibilityDoing chores helps teenagers learn to be responsible. If you're expected to keep your room clean, wash your own dirty dishes, and tidy up after yourself, it shows you how to be responsible for your own mess. This is an important life skill to learn while you're still a kid living at home.It shows them how to run a householdAlong the same lines, doing household chores gives teens practice for when they're adults and have their own place to maintain. If you've never had to do laundry, cook meals, or clean a bathroom, it'll be really hard when you move out on your own. Doing age-appropriate chores prepares you for running your own household someday. It helps out the familyLet's be honest, keeping a whole house clean is a lot of work, especially if both parents have jobs. If everyone just lazed around playing video games, the housework would never get done! When teens pitch in and do their part, it lightens the load for the whole family. It's all about being a team.It builds life skillsDoing chores helps you build all sorts of random skills that come in handy later on. You learn how to mop a floor, iron shirts, change vacuum bags, and use cleaning products properly. You learn to manage your time and get things done. These are skills teens will definitely need when they're older and living independently. It teaches them not to be spoiled and entitledIf teens never have to lift a finger to help out, they can get kind of spoiled and feel entitled to have everything done for them. Having chores shows them that everyone needs to pitch in and do their part - the world doesn't revolve around them! It keeps them grounded. Those are my main reasons why I think teenagers should definitely have to do chores around the house. Of course, the chores should be reasonable and age-appropriate. Like, you wouldn't ask a 13-year-old to re-shingle the roof or something crazy like that. But basic cleaning, yard work, laundry, etc? Totally appropriate! At the end of the day, doing chores is just part of being a contributing member of a household. It's really not that big of adeal, and it comes with a ton of benefits for teenagers. Hopefully this essay has helped explain why chores are important and useful! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go fold some towels for my mom. Thanks for reading, have an awesome day!。

不过,大家就算离开了校园,也不要忘了给自己充电哦!10 Reasons to Keep Learning Once You’re Done With SchoolThere have always been people who have believed that lifelong learning is a worthwhile process. Increasingly, scientific research is proving them correct and technology is making it easier – adults can now take online college classes for the rest of their lives. For example, a recent article in The Atlantic reported that when individuals learn new tasks, they strengthen the part of their brain used in learning the task. Even better, this process makes the neighboring areas of the brain more resilient as well. This means that learning can make what you already know stronger, too.So, without further ado, here are ten more reasons why you should always keep learning:1. Fight Boredom. Most people feel bored when they aren’t challenged and boredom is the number one cause of bad decisions. If you’re constantly learning new things, you’ll be less prone to disinterest. And, in today’s world, with TED conferences and the Khan Academy, there are plenty ofopportunities to enrich yourself.2. Keep Your Brain Healthy. A 2010 study out of the University of California at Irvine revealed that learning keeps your brain functioning at a high level. Just like you need to exercise your body’s muscles and cardiovascular system, you need to exercise your brain to keep it in tip-top shape.3. Grow Your Career. If you learn new work-related skills, you’ll be more likely to get a promotion or raise. And, with the rise of online education, you can even enroll in certified programs that allow you to learn and improve your career during your off-hours.4. Model Positive Behavior for Your Kids. If you expect your children to focus in school and take the time to learn their lessons, you should exhibit the same commitment to self-improvement in your daily life.5. Fight Alzheimer’s Disease. According to Science Daily, continued learning can slow the physical process of Alzheimer’s Disease. You’ll be healthier longer.6. Keep in Touch With The World. If you don’t know the latest fashion, comedy and news trends, you’ll sound outdated and out-of-touch. By trying new things and learning new ideas, you’ll better be able to relate to those around you.7. Find and Increase Your Pleasure. Learning isn’t necessarily a chore. If you’re interested in a hobby such ascooking, learning new recipes and cooking processes can be enjoyable. It can make you appreciate your hobby even more.8. Look at the World with Fresh Eyes. Scientists believe that much of what is called creativity is simply the ability to apply skills learned in one setting to problems in another setting. If you’re always learning, this means that when you face a familiar problem, you may be able to come at it with an unorthodox solution, based on your new knowledge.9. Keep Abreast of Technology. Computers become obsolete within a few years. If you’re not constantly learning new things about technology, you’re falling behind. Which means you’ll miss out on social, business and technological opportunities, simply because you didn’t keep up.10. All the Greats are Doing It. Think of anyone, in any field, who is truly brilliant at what they do. They got where they are through constant self-improvement. Truly talented people are constantly learning and implementing new skills. It’s worth joining them in this passion. There are plenty of fabulous reasons to keep learning new things, regardless of what they are. Forming new connections in your brain doesn’t have to be difficult, though it would certainly be a good idea to make sure it was some of the time. Now, it’s time to go out there and just do it。

当我五岁时妈妈教我弹钢琴英语作文
当我五岁时妈妈教我弹钢琴英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1When I Was Five, My Mom Taught Me How to Play the PianoI still remember the day like it was yesterday. I was five years old and had just come home from my first day of kindergarten. I was so excited to tell my mom all about the fun things we did at school that day - learning our letters and numbers, singing songs, and playing on the playground. As I ran through the front door, kicking off my little sneakers, I could hear the most beautiful music coming from the living room. My mom was sitting at our big brown piano, her fingers dancing across the keys. I had always loved listening to her play, but on that day, something felt different.I quietly tiptoed over and sat down on the bench next to her. "Keep playing, Mommy," I whispered, not wanting the magic to stop. She smiled down at me and kept going, the music seeming to wrap around us like a warm hug. When she finished, I looked up at her with wide eyes. "How do you do that?" I asked in amazement. That's when she laughed and ruffled my hair."Would you like me to teach you?" she asked. I nodded my head furiously. From that day on, an adventure began that would change my life forever. The first few lessons were really hard for my little hands. My mom started me off slowly, teaching me the names of all the white keys. We'd sing little songs together to help me remember - "A B C D E F G, the keys go up so easily!" I'd recite, poking each key with my pointer finger. Then came the really tricky part - learning how to read music. Those mysterious lines and dots looked like indecipherable code at first. My mom was so patient though, explaining each symbol and helping me sound out the notes. I'll never forget the huge smile on her face the first time I successfully played "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" from the sheet music. As the weeks went by, I got better and better. My mom started teaching me basic chords and rhythms. We'd march around the living room, clapping out different beat patterns. My favorite was the "heartbeat" rhythm - BANG-bang-BANG-bang. So fun!It wasn't all fun and games though. Whenever I'd get frustrated and want to give up, my mom wouldn't let me. "Practice makes perfect," she'd say gently, sitting me back down at the piano. I'm so thankful for her perseverance now. Sticking with those difficult lessons taught me self-discipline from such a young age.My skills continued growing year after year. Eventually I moved on from kids' songs to more complicated classical pieces by composers like Bach and Beethoven. My mom and I would pore over the sheet music together, her quizzing me on note names and time signatures. Every new conquest filled me with such pride and accomplishment.Piano also opened up a whole new world of music theory and history for me. My mom taught me about key signatures, major and minor scales, and the backgrounds of different composers. I was like a little sponge, eagerly soaking it all up. Music became this incredible code to decipher and puzzle to solve. As I got older, piano became more than just notes on a page though - it was a form of expression and a safe haven. Whenever I was feeling angry, sad, or overwhelmed, I could pour those emotions into the keys. My mom would sit beside me, listeningintently, and I knew she could understand what I was trying to communicate through the melodies. In those moments, the music would wrap around us again like that warm hug from when I was five.Piano likewise gave me a special connection to my mom that went beyond just parent and child. We were teammates, partners, united in our dedication to this art form. The hours we spent side-by-side at that brown piano are some of my most cherished memories. My mom's guidance, patience, and belief in me showed what unconditional love and support truly looks like.Even when we weren't actively playing or studying, piano was always there, woven into the tapestry of our lives. I remember my mom's beautiful music filling our home as she baked batches of chocolate chip cookies in the kitchen. Or her calling me over to the piano to show me a new song she was working on. Music became the heartbeat of our family. Now, as I get ready to go off to college next year and chase my dreams of becoming a professional musician, I'm so grateful that my mom gave me the incredible gift of music all those years ago. Because of her, I found my passion and my calling. Because of her, I know I have the strength and discipline to never give up, no matter how difficult things get.And because of her, I'll forever have those wonderful childhood memories - my mini self, barely taller than the piano itself, plunking away at the keys while my mom's warm alto voice coached me through each measure. Her love for me, for music, and for nurturing my talents echoes through every note I play, and it's a song that will stay with me for the rest of my life.篇2When I Was Five, My Mom Taught Me to Play PianoThinking back to when I was just a little kid, one of my most cherished memories is the time my mom started teaching me to play the piano. I was only five years old, but she was determined to help me learn this wonderful instrument. It wasn't always easy, but looking back now, I'm so grateful she stuck with it and gave me the gift of music. It all started one day after school. I had just gotten home and was playing with my toys in the living room when mom called me over. "Katie, come here for a minute," she said in that sweet, gentle voice mothers have. I ran over, clutching my favorite teddy bear, and looked up at her with my big, curious eyes."How would you like to learn to play the piano?" she asked, pointing to the big upright piano in the corner. I had seen itsitting there for years, but never really paid much attention to it. To me, it was just another piece of grown-up furniture taking up space."The pi-an-o?" I said slowly, sounding out the unfamiliar word. "What's that?"Mom smiled and walked over to the piano bench, patting the spot next to her for me to join. "The piano is a very special instrument that makes beautiful music. If you learn how to play it, you'll be able to create your own songs and melodies. Wouldn't that be fun?"The idea of being able to make my own music was really exciting to my five-year-old mind. I loved singing made-up songs during make-believe time. This seemed like a grown-up version of that. "Yeah! Yeah, I wanna learn!" I shouted eagerly, scrambling up onto the bench. And just like that, my journey into the world of piano began. Mom started by showing me the white keys and black keys, explaining that there were certain patterns and groups that made different notes and sounds. Then she had me put my tiny hands on the keys and show her which ones were which. At first, it felt really strange and unnatural putting my fingers on those big white rectangles. They were cold and smooth, so different from my soft fabric toys. But mom was patient, guiding my hands and helping me get used to the feeling."Okay, now press this key down gently," she instructed, pointing to a key towards the middle of the piano. I did as she said, pushing down the key tentatively. A bright, bell-like tone rang out and I jumped a little."Wow! I did that?!" I squealed in delight. Mom laughed and nodded."You sure did! That's the wonderful sound a piano can make. Now try this one..."And so it went, with mom introducing me to new keys and notes week after week. Some days I would get frustrated when my little fingers didn't want to cooperate, accidentally pressing two keys at once or not pushing hard enough to get a full sound. Tears would well up in my eyes and I'd look at mom with disappointment. But she never gave up on me. With a tender hug and some kind, encouraging words, she would help me try again. "It's okay, sweetie. Learning takes time and practice. Let's keep going, you're doing great." Her soothing voice and infinite patience eventually won me over every time.As the months went by, I started to get the hang of it. Suddenly, all those notes and keys began making sense. I could pick out simple tunes like "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Mary Had a Little Lamb" all by myself. Mom was SO proud, clapping and cheering me on whenever I played through a song successfully."Katie, do you remember when you cried because you couldn't get that one part?" she would say. "But now look at you go! I knew you could do it if you kept trying."Her belief in me and words of praise made me beam with joy and confidence. I felt like I could take on anything when mom was by my side. The piano didn't seem so scary or impossible anymore.By the time I was six, mom started teaching me how to read sheet music and play with both hands together, taking on slightly more complex songs and rhythms. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, a new challenge would come up. But I took it in stride, absorbing her lessons like a sponge.Looking back, I realize now just how much time, effort and patience my mom poured into those piano lessons. While other kids were watching TV or goofing off after school, my afternoons were spent diligently practicing scales, hand positions, and frozen fingers. If mom hadn't been so invested in helping me learn that instrument, I probably would have given up along the way.But she never let me quit. She just kept gently nudging me forward, introducing trickier concepts little by little until they finally clicked. Some of my most precious childhood memories are sitting side-by-side with mom on that old piano bench, her arm around me as she guided my small hands across the keys.Even when I got older and started taking "real" piano lessons from an instructor at school, those early days with mom remained the foundation. Everything I learned afterward built on the basics and love for music she had instilled in me years before.Eventually, I got pretty darn good at playing piano. Well, at least I thought I was hot stuff back then! I could sightread complex classical pieces and pound out pop songs with flair. During our annual school talent shows, there I was rocking the stage with showtune medleys or Beethoven sonatas. While my friends were still hopelessly banging away with one hand or playing whack-a-mole with the keys, I was the one all the teachers called on to showcase what years of hard work and training could achieve. To perform for crowds without fear, all because my mom had helped me from that very first day, patiently removing any uncertainty or intimidation I felt.Whenever I hear a piano now, either live or on a recording, I'm brought back to those special times in our living room. The warm memories of my mom's smiling face, her soft voice of encouragement, and the pride I felt whenever I finally mastered a new song. The pure joy of learning something amazing, all thanks to her.I know I probably drove my parents crazy as a kid, drilling my practices over and over until they were sick of songs like "Chopsticks" and "Heart and Soul." But my mom never gave up. She saw something special in me before I could see it in myself. She was determined to help me discover a talent and passion that would enriched my life forever. Thanks to her unwavering commitment, music became one of my greatest joys and sources of confidence growing up. Playing piano gave me a creative outlet, a fun challenge to worktoward, and a lifelong skill I could be proud of. It was all because of the sacrifices my mom made when I was five years old.To this day, whenever I play for someone or get comments on my talents, I always make a point of giving her the credit she deserves. "You can thank my mom for teaching me everything I know!" I say smiling. And I mean it wholeheartedly.Because music isn't just a hobby or ability for me. It's the embodiment of my mom's love, the tangible reminder of her strength, and her lasting gift that keeps on giving. All owed to those first simple lessons on our living room piano, a treasured memory I'll carry with me forever.篇3When I was Five, My Mom Taught Me PianoMy name is Emily and I'm in the fourth grade now. I've been playing the piano for a really long time - since I was just five years old! That might seem young to start learning an instrument, but my mom started teaching me then and I'm so glad she did. Let me tell you all about how it began.I can still remember that day so clearly, even though it was seven years ago now. It was a sunny Saturday morning and I was watching cartoons in the living room. My mom came in and said,"Emily, I have a surprise for you! Come with me to the spare bedroom." I jumped up excitedly, running after her down the hallway. What could the surprise be? A new toy? A puppy? My mind raced with the possibilities. When we went into the spare room, there was a big, beautiful piano in the corner that I had never seen before. It was sleek and black and I immediately fell in love with it. "This is for you, honey," my mom told me with a big smile. "I'm going to teach you how to play piano starting today!"I could hardly believe my ears. A real piano, all for me? And my mom was going to teach me herself? I gave her the biggest hug I could muster up at 5 years old. "Thank you, thank you!" I exclaimed repeatedly. I couldn't wait to get started.Mom sat down on the bench and patted the spot next to her for me to join. Once we were both seated, she pointed to the black and white keys that seemed to stretch on forever. "These are the keys that make all the different notes and sounds," she explained patiently. "We're going to start by learning about the white keys today."She took my little hands in hers and placed them gently on the keys. With her help, I played my very first notes - twinkle, twinkle little star. It sounded so magical and pure coming from that beautiful instrument. From that moment on, I was hooked. The weeks and months that followed were filled with daily piano practice. Mom was an excellent teacher - firm yet kind, ensuring I developed proper technique from the very start. She celebrated all my little victories with me, like finally mastering how to play scales hands together or getting that one tricky chord change down smoothly. But she also knew when to push me to work harder. If I was being lazy with my fingering or rushed through a piece sloppily, she would have me go back and repeat sections over and over until I could play it perfectly. Sometimes it was frustrating, but I knew she was just helping me become the best pianist I could be.As the years went on, I moved from learning basic children's songs and folk tunes to more advanced classical pieces by composers like Mozart, Beethoven, and Chopin. Mom continued teaching me all the way through, with the occasional help of a tutor for theory and particularly complex works. I'll never forget the pride I felt the first time I played Clair de Lune by Debussy without a single mistake after months of grueling practice.Playing piano became such a major part of my identity and lifestyle. I'd practice for an hour or two every single day afterschool, my fingers dancing across the keys as I got lost in the music. On weekends, Mom and I would have extended sessions going over anything I was struggling with. The living room would be filled with the soaring melodies and rich harmonies as I played through my assigned pieces repeatedly. In those early years especially, having that time with just my mom and me at the piano was incredibly special. We'd joke around and she'd affectionately call me her "little Mozart." Sometimes we'd take breaks and she'd tell me stories from when she was a piano student herself. I have such warm memories of those bonding moments over our shared love of music.Piano also provided me with an amazing creative outlet as a child. Once I had a firm grasp of reading music and proper technique, Mom started encouraging me to try composing my own little pieces and songs. At first they were just simple melodies and basic chord progressions. But as my skills grew more sophisticated, so did my compositions. I remember being so proud bringing home awards from local youth composition contests.Performing was another huge part of studying piano that shaped my childhood. Mom entered me into my first recital when I was six years old, decking me out in an adorable poofydress to play the few small pieces I had mastered. Despite being incredibly nervous, basking in that applause at the end gave me such a rush. It sparked a love of being on stage and sharing music that continues to this day.As I got older, the performances gained higher stakes and bigger audiences. There were intense competition rounds, concerts where I had to learn and execute long programs flawlessly, and gigs playing piano accompaniment for choir groups or musical theater productions. No matter how stressful, having my mom's support, guidance, and proud reassurance made everything feel achievable. Now that I'm in fourth grade, piano is still an integral part of my life, thanks to my mom's dedication in those early years. I practice daily, take private lessons from a renowned instructor, and regularly participate in competitions, recitals and other performances. I honestly can't picture my childhood and who I am today without the piano being there every step of the way.Learning this instrument has shaped me into such a focused, disciplined, and hard-working young person. All those years of practice have instilled an incredible drive in me, along with patience and the ability to break down big challenges into manageable steps to gradually master them. I've developedattention to detail, finesse, and an impeccable inner sense of timing. Most importantly, it's given me a creative passion that makes me feel truly alive.I'm so grateful to my mom for introducing me to the world of piano at such a young age and nurturing that love within me year after year. It was certainly challenging at times, and there were plenty of moments I'm sure she wanted to pull her hair out over my resistance to practice or whining about a difficult piece. But she never gave up on me, and her early instruction gave me a foundation that has allowed my skills to continue blossoming. All those hours we spent together at that beautiful black piano, her calming voice explaining new concepts, demonstrating proper technique, and encouraging me not to get frustrated - those memories are a part of me. Learning this instrument from my mom created a bond between us that distance and time can never break. She opened up the world of music to me and gave me a lifelong gift that has enriched my life in countless ways. I'll always strive to make her proud, my little Mozart forever playing away.。
中学生到底该不该干家务英语作文
中学生到底该不该干家务英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Should Middle School Kids Have to Do Chores? An Essay by a 5th GraderDoing chores is something that pretty much every kid has to deal with. Our parents are always nagging us to clean our rooms, help with the dishes, take out the trash, and do other boring housework. As middle school kids, we have a ton of other stuff to worry about like homework, extracurriculars, hanging out with friends, and just being kids. So should we really have to waste our free time on household chores too? I think not!First off, we're just kids trying to enjoy the few years we have left before becoming adults and having to do loads of cleaning and housework anyway. Childhood goes by so fast - why rush into taking on too many responsibilities at home? We should be using our free time for fun stuff like sports, video games, seeing movies with friends, or just relaxing. Chores just get in the way of us being kids while we can.Plus, middle school is when homework starts to get really difficult. We've got math problems that scramble our brains, huge writing assignments, reading books that make no sense, and projects in every subject. Sometimes it feels like the teachers are trying to drown us in busy work! After coming home from like 7 hours at school, then having hours of homework, we're mentally drained. The last thing we want is for our parents to hand us a list of chores to start knocking out too. No way!I get that parents get tired after work and could use some help around the house. But isn't that what weekends are for? We can help out then once we've had a chance to recharge from our school week. During the regular week though, we're just too swamped to add more to our plates.Chores also take away from valuable family time. If we're all doing separate cleaning tasks when we get home, that's less opportunity for us to sit down together at the end of the day. Instead of bonding over a family dinner or watching a show,we're all wrapped up in housework. Where's the quality time in that? But you know what the main reason is for why kids my age shouldn't have too many chores? It could mess up our social lives! Chores are just not cool at all. Imagine you finally get to hang outwith friends after school, but you have to be like "Sorry, can't stick around, my parents are making me do dishes and laundry when I get home." How embarrassing is that?! Our friends would think our home lives are so lame. Having too many chores can actually make you seem like a loser to your peers. No thanks!I'm sure some of you are thinking "Well, doing chores teaches important lessons about hard work and responsibility." Yeah, I've heard that one before. But my opinion is that there's plenty of time to learn that stuff when we're older. Let us learn how to be responsible kids first by doing well in school, being good friends, and following rules at home. The whole housework life lesson can wait until high school or even better - when we're actual adults! In conclusion, middle schoolers have enough to deal with academically and socially. Adding a big load of chores on top of that is just piling on way too much. We need our free time after school to recharge, do homework, andmost importantly - be kids! So parents, go ahead and make us do a few basic chores here and there. But don't drown us in housework just yet. Let us enjoy these last few years of true childhood freedom. The chore life can wait!篇2Should Middle School Kids Have to Do Chores? An Essay by Timmy (Age 10)Chores are like vegetables - nobody really likes them, but grown-ups say they're good for you! My big sister Jessica is in middle school now, and my parents are always bugging her about doing chores around the house. But Jessica thinks chores are totally unfair and just get in the way of her homework, sports, and hanging out with friends. She says middle schoolers are too old for chores. I'm not so sure though...What Even Are Chores? Before we get into whether middle school kids should have to do chores, we gotta ask - what ARE chores anyway? Chores are little jobs you have to do around the house to help out. For my sister, that means taking out the trash, loading the dishwasher, folding her laundry, and feeding our dog Buster. Sometimes she has to vacuum or dust too if it's her chore rotation. Chores can be annoying and time-consuming, but they help keep the house clean and running smoothly. The Case FOR Middle Schoolers Doing ChoresEven though Jessica grumbles about it, I think there are actually some pretty good reasons why middle school kids should pitch in with chores:It teaches responsibility. Doing chores shows you can take care of stuff and handle your obligations, which is a key life skill. If you can't even remember to make your bed, how are you gonna hold down a job when you're older? It's good practice for the real world. One day Jessica will have her own place, and she'll have to clean it, do laundry, take out trash, and all that stuff. Chores give kids practice for living on their own eventually. It's only fair. Mom and Dad work really hard all day at their jobs. When they come home, they have to do household chores too on top of making dinner and stuff. If Jessica and I help out, it's way less work for them.Allowance! Some families give kids a little allowance if they do their chores. That's a nice incentive and teaches about earning money. It gives a sense of contribution. Nobody likes being a freeloader. If Jessica chips in around the house, she feels morelike she's part of making the family operate smoothly. It's good for self-worth.The Case AGAINST Middle School ChoresOn the flip side, Jessica does make some decent arguments for why chores are too much for busy middle schoolers:Too much added stress! Between tough classes, homework, activities, and social lives, middle school kids already have full plates. Piling on chores feels excessive.Lack of free time. After school, sports, homework, and chores, Jessica says she has zero free time to just relax and be a kid. That can't be healthy!Limited coordination. Let's be real - most middle schoolers are pretty disorganized. They may try to do chores but just create more mess and chaos. Is it even worth it?Academics should come first. With how competitive getting into good colleges is nowadays, Jessica needs to prioritize grades and extracurriculars. Chores could be a distraction.Resentment and rebellion. If pushed too hard on chores, middle schoolers may resent their parents and rebel more. You gotta pick your battles as a parent. My Take? Moderation Is KeyAfter weighing both sides, here's my perspective as asoon-to-be middle schooler myself: I don't think we should be totally excused from chores, but they need to be reasonable and limited. Maybe Jessica just has 1-2 chores each day instead of a huge list. And they should be simple ones that don't take forever - nobody expects perfection. On the other hand, I do plan to help out more around the house without being asked. It's the right thing to do to chip in, and it makes me feel like a contributing member of the family. Plus, my parents might be more willing to increase my allowance! At the end of the day, being a middle schooler is tough enough with all the academic and social pressures. We shouldn't be treated like full-time housekeepers. But some basic chores are perfectly fair to build life skills and responsibility. It's all about finding the right balance. Moderation in all things, including chores!篇3Should Middle Schoolers Really Have to Do Chores?Doing household chores is such a drag! I'm just a kid, so why should I have to clean up and do boring housework? That's what my older sister Sophia says. She's in middle school and totally hates having to do chores around the house. I'm only in 5th grade, but I'm already dreading becoming a middle schooler if it means getting stuck with yucky jobs like taking out the trash and loading the dishwasher. No thanks! My parents are always nagging Sophia about helping out more. They say "You're getting older now, it's time to pitch in" and "We all have to do our part in this household." Sophia just rolls her eyes. She's like "Hello? I already have so much to do with all my homework and activities. Chores are YOUR job, not mine!" Then they get into this huge fight about chores, responsibilities, blah blah blah. As if Sophia doesn't have it hard enough already!Personally, I think middle schoolers should definitely NOT have to do chores. Their lives are super hard as it is. Just think about everything they have to deal with!First off, they've got crazy amounts of homework pretty much every night. I remember when Sophia was in 6th grade, she'd get home from school and immediately have to start on her mountain of assignments. Math worksheets, book reports, science projects - it never ended! She'd be stuck at her desk for hours, working till bedtime. Sometimes she'd even cry from frustration. Whereas little kids like me only get a tiny bit of homework. We actually have time to play video games and have fun!But middle schoolers don't really get to be kids anymore. They have to focus all their energy on academics and preparing for high school. Isn't that stressful enough without piling on household chores too? Their brains must be exploding from all that work! Then there are all the extracurricular activities they have to do. Schools really load it on in middle school to make you "well-rounded" for college apps. Sophia has to do sports, clubs, volunteering, music lessons, tutoring, and more. Her schedule is absolutely insane - she literally goes from school to activity to activity with zero free time. Even on weekends it's non-stop.Could you imagine also making her clean bathrooms and do laundry on top of that? She'd have a mental breakdown for sure! Those poor middle schoolers are running on fumes as it is. They deserve to relax when they finally make it home, not get ordered to do more torture chores.Forget chores, middle schoolers need more self-care time! Their bodies are also going through crazy changes with puberty and growth spurts and hormones. Isn't that enough torture without making them scrub toilets too? No wonder Sophia's always grouchy and moody. I'd be too if I was that age and overwhelmed! And we can't overlook the physiological stress they're under. Yup, I know some big words! Sophia told me all about the pressures of being in middle school. She says it's like a popularity contest meets an emotional warzone. There's crazy drama with friends, bullying, mean cliques, ridiculous dress codes, and raging insecurity. Kids are vicious to each other for no reason! Then you get all self-conscious about your looks, your clothes, your identity. It's total angst and turmoil. So is it really fair to make these poor kids come home from that nightmarish battlefield and demand they clean up after the family? Chores should be the last thing on their plate when they're dealing with so much chaos already. They need peace and quiet, not more work!Honestly, assigning household chores is a form of child labor in my book. It's basically taking advantage of free labor from these young kids. They're already working insanely hard atschool, so why should they have chores too? That's just greedy and wrong.Do parents really want to add even more pressure and unhappiness to their middle schooler's lives? Those years are brutal enough without making kids clean toilets on top of everything else. Listen up parents - let your pre-teens bepre-teens! Let them be kids for a little while longer before the adult responsibilities start piling on.If you ask me, middle schoolers like Sophia deserve a free ride for those few years. Their childhood is pretty much over already with all the scary things they have to deal with. So let them live it up without stressing about housework! It'll give them a little break before becoming fully self-sufficient adults. And who knows, maybe they'll be happier and less angst-ridden.So there you have it - middle schoolers should absolutely 100% NOT have to do household chores. Their lives are way too intense and chores would be cruel and unusual punishment. Let them be irresponsible, angsty, dramatic kids for just a little while longer. Trust me, responsibility and chores will come soon enough! Those teenage years are just around the corner...篇4Should Middle School Kids Have to Do Chores? An Essay by Tommy (Age 10)Doing chores is like, sooooo boring! I hate having to clean my room, take out the trash, or set the table. It's just no fun at all. But my parents are always nagging me about doing my chores. They say it's good for me and will teach me to be responsible. Responsible, schmesponsible! I'm just a kid! I should be out playing video games and having fun, not stuck inside doing lame chores. My older sister Jessie is in 7th grade and she has even more chores than me. She has to do her own laundry, help make dinner, and even mow the lawn sometimes! No thanks! I'll pass on all those awful chores. Jessie complains about it all the time. She says it's like being a maid in her own house. I don't blame her for being mad about it.But then my parents say stuff like "Chores teach important life skills" and "You need to pitch in around the house since you live here." Ugh, whatever! I already know how to clean things. It's not like it's rocket science or anything. And just because I live here doesn't mean I should have to act like an unpaid maid! This is supposed to be my home, not a prison work camp! Some of my friends have to do chores too though. Carlos has to walk his dog and clean the litter box. He says it's so gross and he hates it. Yuck, I don't blame him! Cleaning up after pets is definitely one of the worst chores. My friend Emily has to unload the dishwasher and dust the furniture. She doesn't mind that as much, but she still thinks chores are unfair.I can see maybe giving bigger kids more chores since they're older and can handle more responsibilities. But middle schoolers?? We're still just kids! We shouldn't have that much work piled on us at home after dealing with all our schoolwork and homework. It's too much pressure if you ask me. Let kids be kids, I say!Plus, a lot of middle school kids are really busy with afterschool activities like sports, clubs, or music lessons. When are they supposed to find the time to do a billion chores too? It's just not fair to put so many demands on kids that age. Their days are full enough as it is without their parents making them into cleaning machines at home.Maybe some chores are okay, like making your bed or taking out the trash. But the big, hard stuff should be left to the parents. That's their job, not ours! We're just the kids. We already have ithard enough with schoolwork, homework, friendship drama, and all the other crazy stuff kids have to deal with these days.If you ask me, making middle schoolers do ton of chores is really cruel. We need time to play, explore our interests, spend time with friends, and just be kids. Is that really too much to ask? Chores take away from all that valuable free time. And for what? So we can learn to be "responsible?" I don't buy it!My parents say I'll appreciate it when I'm older and have my own place someday. Yeah, right! I'm never doing any chores again after I move out. No way! I'll just hire a maid or a cleaning person to do all that grubby work for me. Isn't that what rich people do anyway? They don't waste their time on chores. I'll be living the good life: chore-free!So in conclusion, middle school kids definitely should not have to do tons of household chores. It's a form of cruel and unusual punishment if you ask me! We're still just children. Our job is to learn, play, and grow. Not be unpaid servant labor for our parents! A childhood should be fun and carefree, not spent slaving away doing grubby cleaning and chores. Let's give kids a break and maybe pick up a mop ourselves for once!篇5Here's an essay of around 2000 words on whether middle school students should do household chores, written in English from the perspective of an elementary school student:Should Middle Schoolers Really Do Chores? An Essay by a 5th GraderHey there, friends! Today, I want to talk about something really important – whether kids in middle school should have to do chores at home or not. It's a big deal, you know? Some people say yes, some say no, and it's hard to know what's right. But I've been thinking about it a lot, and I have some thoughts I want to share with you.First of all, let's think about why adults want us to do chores.I mean, it's not like they're trying to torture us or anything (even though it might feel that way sometimes!). They say it's good for us to learn how to be responsible and take care of ourselves. And I get that – we can't just sit around playing video games all day and expect our parents to do everything for us. That's not how the real world works. But here's the thing: we're still kids, you know? We have school, homework, activities, and all sorts of other stuff going on. It's a lot to handle, especially when you're in middle school andeverything is just so confusing and overwhelming. Do we really need to add chores on top of all that? Isn't that just too much?I know some of you might be saying, "But doing chores isn't that hard! It's just a few little things around the house." And sure, maybe for you it's not a big deal. But for others, it can be really tough. Some kids have a lot going on at home, like taking care of younger siblings or helping out with family businesses. Adding chores to all that can be a huge burden. And let's not forget about the mental health aspect of it all. Middle school is already a super stressful time, with all the changes our bodies are going through, the social pressures, and the academic demands. Do we really need the extra stress of having to worry about doing chores on top of everything else? It's a lot to handle, and sometimes it can just feel like too much. Now, I'm not saying that we shouldn't do anything around the house at all. I think it's important for us to learn how to be responsible and take care of ourselves. But maybe there's a middle ground, you know? Like, we could have a few simple chores that we're expected to do, but not too much that it becomes overwhelming.Or maybe we could have a rotating schedule, where we take turns doing different chores each week. That way, it's not alwaysthe same person stuck with the same boring tasks all the time. And it could be a good way for us to learn how to work together and share responsibilities.Another idea is to make chores more fun and rewarding. Like, maybe we could have a points system or something, where we earn rewards for doing our chores consistently. Or we could have chore parties, where we all pitch in and do our chores together while listening to music and having a good time.I also think it's important for adults to remember that we're not just little robots they can program to do whatever they want. We're human beings with our own thoughts and feelings, and we deserve to have a say in what we're expected to do. Maybe families could have regular meetings where everyone gets to share their thoughts and concerns about chores, and come up with a system that works for everyone. At the end of the day, I think the most important thing is balance. We shouldn't be expected to do so many chores that we're completely overwhelmed and stressed out all the time. But we also shouldn't be completely babied and never learn how to take care of ourselves and our living spaces. It's all about finding that sweet spot, where we're learning valuable life skills without sacrificing our mental health and well-being.So, what do you guys think? Should middle schoolers do chores or not? I'd love to hear your thoughts! And remember, whether you're doing chores or not, you're awesome just the way you are. Keep being your amazing selves, friends!。

英语书面表达写写你这几年的变化作文5句话全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Last Few Years of My LifeWow, have the last few years been a whirlwind or what? It feels like just yesterday I was a tiny little kid playing with stuffed animals and watching cartoons all day. Now I'm this big fourth grader getting ready to go to middle school next year! A whole lot has changed since those carefree days of being apre-schooler.I remember back in preschool, the biggest things on my mind were snack time, nap time, and making sure I didn't lose my favorite stuffed bear during outdoor playtime. Life was pretty simple back then. I didn't have any real responsibilities besides picking up my toys and being nice to the other kids. My days were filled with games, singing silly songs, and story time on that colorful rug. Then I started kindergarten, and everything changed! All of a sudden, there were these things called "lessons" I had to pay attention to. Math and reading became an actual part of my dayinstead of just fun activities we did sometimes. I remember feeling so grown up getting to ride the big buses to school instead of just my mom's minivan dropping me off. Kindergarten was equal parts exciting and terrifying at first!First grade rolled around, and I was really starting to get the hang of this whole "school" thing. I could read simple books all by myself and do basic adding and subtracting. Making friends was getting easier too as my shyness started to fade away. Going to school five days a week instead of just a couple half days felt like a full-time job! The workload definitely ramped up from those preschool days.Second and third grade passed by in a blur of spelling tests, science projects, and trying to stay out of trouble at recess. I was Really starting to come into my own socially and academically. Math started clicking for me in a way it hadn't before. My reading level kept climbing up and up as I devoured book after book. Writing stories and essays was still kind of a struggle, but I worked hard at it.And now here I am about to complete fourth grade and become a middle schooler! Public speaking doesn't make me quite as nervous anymore. I've gotten pretty decent at using computers and technology for schoolwork. My organizationalskills have improved a ton compared to those early elementary days. While I do sometimes miss the simplicity of preschool, I'm really excited to take on the new challenges of middle school.Who knows what adventures and changes await me in middle school and beyond? All I know is that growing up happens pretty fast. One day you're zoning out during circle time, and the next you're gearing up for college! I guess I'll just have to buckle up and enjoy the ride. After making it through elementary school successfully, I feel ready to take on the world. Middle school, here I come!篇2The Last Few Years Have Been A Big Adventure!Wow, have the last few years been exciting for me or what? So much has changed since I was a tiny little kid. Back then, the world seemed so big and scary sometimes. But now that I'm an awesome 5th grader, I realize how much I've grown up and how many cool new things I can do.I remember when I was in 1st grade, everything was brand new to me. Learning to read and write was hard at first! All those funny little letters didn't make much sense. But my teacher was really nice and helped me sound out words. Before long, I waszooming through easy books. Now I'm a total bookworm and reading is my favorite thing ever. I just finished the 7th book in the Wizard Kidsfor series - those magical adventures are epic!Speaking of magic, one of the biggest changes for me has been making new friends. When I started school, I was pretty shy around kids I didn't know. I'd get nervous and not know what to say. But eventually I met Billy, who's been my best bud for years now. We clicked right away over our love of superheroes and crazy jokes. Billy helped me come out of my shell, and now I'm way more confident talking to new people. We've had so many funny adventures together!Another major change has been all the awesome new skills I've learned. A few years ago, I could barely write my name. Cutting with scissors was a struggle too. But now I'm a crafting master! I make all kinds of cool art projects like hand turkeys, puffy paint pictures, and pipe cleaner sculptures. My parents even frame some of my best work to hang on the wall. I've also learned way more about math, science, and all my other school subjects. Who knew learning could be so much fun?The biggest change of all has probably been becoming a lot more independent and mature. I used to constantly need my mom's help with everything - tying my shoes, getting dressed, you name it. But over the years I've learned to do way more stuff on my own. I can make myself breakfast, get ready for school, and even stay home alone for a few hours after school until my parents get home from work. Their little baby is all grown up! Well, maybe not totally grown up yet. I'm sure there are many more exciting changes ahead as I keep getting older. For now though, I'm just really proud of how far I've come and can't wait for my next big adventure. Whatever it is, I know I'll be ready!篇3The Past Few Years Have Been a Big Adventure!Wow, where do I even start? The past few years have been such a whirlwind of changes and new experiences for me. It feels like just yesterday I was a tiny little kid who couldn't even tie my own shoes. Now look at me - I'm growing up so fast!I remember back when I was in kindergarten and first grade, everything seemed so new and scary. I was nervous about being away from my parents all day and having to make new friends. But my teachers were really nice and before I knew it, I had a whole group of buddies to play with at recess. We'd run around the playground pretending to be superheroes or princesses, living in our own little fantasy worlds. Those were such carefree, happy times. Then I moved up to second and third grade, and suddenly school started getting a lot more serious. We weren't just singing songs and coloring anymore - we had to learn how to read, write, and do math. At first it was really hard and I got frustrated a lot. I remember crying because I just couldn't understand fractions or get my letters to look right when I was writing. But my parents and teachers were patient with me and helped me practice until it started clicking. Once I got over that hump, I started really enjoying academics and feeling proud when I mastered something new.Fourth and fifth grade have been my biggest times of change so far. I'm not a little kid anymore - I'm becoming a tween! My interests are changing and I'm getting more independent. I've gone through some awkward phases with clothes, hairstyles, you name it. But I'm figuring out who I am and what kinds of things I'm into, like sports, art, music, or coding. I'm making more of my own decisions about activities I want to do and friends I want to hang out with.My friendships have also transformed a lot over the years. When we were little, my friends and I would become instantlybest friends one day and then hate each other the next over something silly like who got to go first on the swings. But now the friendships I'm making are deeper and more mature in a way. We're really there for each other through all the ups and downs of growing up. We share secrets, give advice, and support one another's interests and goals. I'm lucky to have such amazing friends to go through this crazy time with.So yeah, I've definitely gone through a ton of changes the last few years! Looking back, sometimes it's hard to believe how much I've grown and matured. My mind, my body, my emotions, my friend groups, my favorite activities - it's all completely different from when I was that clueless little kid. I'm sure there are going to be many more transformations ahead as I continue getting older and experiencing new things. But I'm ready to embrace it all. These years of change have helped shape me into who I am today: a strong, independent, curious tween who's excited to see what the future holds. Bring it on, world!篇4The Past Few Years Have Been a Whirlwind!Wow, where do I even begin? The last few years have been packed with so many changes and new experiences for me. I'vegrown taller, learned lots of new things, and my whole world has shifted in ways I never could have imagined when I was a tiny little kid.I guess one of the biggest changes has been with my body. I've shot up like a weed! When I look at photos of myself from just a couple years ago, I can hardly believe how little I was. My mom loves telling the story of how I used to be able to fit in the laundry basket she'd pull around the house. These days, my long legs dangle over the edges when I try to squeeze in. I've grown at least a foot taller! My friends and I are all going through our growth spurts at different times, so we're this mismatched bunch of people some days I tower over and other days they loom above me. It's been really weird to experience my body constantly changing like this.Along with getting taller, I've also started losing my baby teeth and getting my big kid teeth. I remember being so excited the first time a tooth came loose and I could finally join the "tooth fairy" club with the other kids. Having holes in my smile was a weird look for awhile, but now I've got amouth full of permanent teeth that are hopefully going to stick around for decades to come. I'll never forget the taste of that first wobbly tooth though – sort of like pennies or metal. Gross! My changing appearance isn't the only area of transformation these past few years. My brain has been morphing too as I've soaked up more and more information at school. Looking back, the things I learned in those earliest years of elementary seem laughably simple now. Back then, just being able to read and write the alphabet was an immense struggle. Now, I can write complete stories and even dig into basic algebra! Who knew there were so many letters in the alphabet, or that they could be combined into such long, complicated words?Speaking of words, I've also learned some entirely new languages over this period. Well, maybe not "fluent" yet, but I've at least gotten introduced to Spanish and have picked up quite a vocabulary. My parents grew up speaking Spanish, so they've been quizzing me with it since I was in diapers. But actually learning the grammar rules and really studying it academically has been new for me. I can hold basic conversations now and that's opened up the door to communicate with my grandparents who don't know much English. My world has gotten a lot bigger! One of my favorite new developments has been discovering my passion for art. When I was a tiny kid, I just scribbled aimlessly with crayons and didn't really care what I drew. Butsomewhere around 3rd grade, I started getting really interested in trying to make my drawings look realistic. I'd labor over drawing my pets or my toys, working really hard to get the proportions and shading just right. Then I started getting interested in painting and working with different mediums like watercolors and acrylics. More recently, I've been experimenting with oil pastels and learning inking techniques to make my art look super sharp.I've come a long way from those messy scribbles! I love being able to express my feelings through art or illustrate the crazy imaginative stories I make up. Who knows, maybe I'll be a famous artist someday? I can already draw a pretty mean pineapple or landscape. My dream is to one day be skilled enough to capture portraits – there's something so powerful about being able to recreate the human face in all its detail. So yeah, a ton has shifted for me over the course of these past few transformative years. My body and mind have been constantly evolving, taking me from that chubby bald baby stage to the young person I am now who sometimes still feels like a little kid and other times shockingly grown up. My interests and skills have bloomed in ways I never could have predicted. I've reached huge milestones like losing teeth, learning to read andwrite, picking up new languages, and discovering creative outlets.I wonder what the next few years have in store? If this rate of change keeps up, I'll probably arrive at middle school soon as a full-fledged teenager with even more mind-bending new experiences coming my way. Maybe I'll hit another growth spurt and suddenly be towering over my former teachers. Maybe I'll become a master at algebra and daunt adults with my math skills. Or who knows, maybe I'll even take up a new hobby like playing an instrument or coding computer games. The possibilities are excitingly endless! For now though, I'm just taking it one step at a time and trying to soak up as much as I can each day. Being a kid is tiring and amazing. My world is constantly shape-shifting into something bigger and brighter than the day before. I cherish every single new realization, accomplishment, and inch taller that comes my way. Buckle up, even bigger changes are on the horizon – I just know it! This journey of constantly evolving is a wild rollercoaster, but one I wouldn't trade for anything. Here's to many more years of incredible transformations ahead!篇5The Past Few Years Have Been a Big Change for MeWow, where do I even begin? The last few years have been a whirlwind of changes and new experiences for me. I guess I'll start from the beginning. When I was just a tiny little kid, life was pretty simple. My biggest concerns were things like which toys to play with, what snacks to ask Mom for, and making sure I got to the park that weeken篇6My Life's Big ChangesLately, I've been noticing lots of changes happening in my life. Some of them are little things, while others feel like huge deals! It's been kind of overwhelming at times, but also really exciting to experience so much that's new and different. Let me tell you about some of the biggest changes I've gone through these past few years. One of the most obvious changes is how I look. I used to be this tiny, chubby little kid who could barely see over the kitchen counter. Now I've sprouted up like a beanstalk! My mom saysI've grown at least 6 inches in the last year alone. My baby teethhave pretty much all fallen out too, replaced by my big kid teeth.I remember being so proud of my first few wiggly teeth and then the excitement of putting them under my pillow for the tooth fairy. These days, losing teeth is just a regular thing. My face has thinned out and changed shape too. When I look at old photos, I can hardly even recognize my former chubby-cheeked self!Along with the physical changes have come a lot of changes in my abilities and what I'm allowed to do. I've become a lot more independent and my parents trust me with way more responsibilities than they used to. It feels like just yesterday they had to help me get dressed, brush my teeth, and tie my shoes. Now I'm expected to do all those things on my own without even being asked. I even help out around the house by making my own breakfast, cleaning my room, and doing small chores. At first, it was hard to remember all the new things I had to do for myself, but it feels pretty awesome to be growing up and not having to rely on my parents for absolutely everything anymore.Speaking of not relying on my parents, I've also gotten a lot more freedom to hang out with friends without adult supervision. Don't get me wrong, my parents are still really strict about checking in and enforcing curfews. But these days, they'll let me walk to the neighborhood park or a friend's house as long as I'mback before dark. We've been taking advantage of that freedom a lot lately. My friends and I will get together at the park and play games like cops and robbers or kickball for hours. Or we'll go over to someone's house and binge watch shows or play video games. It's so much fun being able to hang out together without our parents constantly looking over our shoulders!Another major change has been switching to the upper grades at school. I'll never forget the jump from preschool to kindergarten. Suddenly, I was one of the little kids on campus instead of one of the big ones! That meant no more long nap times, shorter recess periods, and way more schoolwork. Every year since has brought another step up in expectations and responsibilities. Third grade in particular was a really big transition with way harder academic material and higher standards for behavior. These days in fourth grade, I find myself one of the oldest and biggest students around. The work still challenges me, but I've gotten used to the routine of standardized testing, doing loads of homework, and being a role model for the younger kids. Finally, one of the biggest changes I've been going through is in my interests and how I spend my free time. My old favorite toys and games have been getting pretty babyish lately. I'vegrown out of a lot of the shows and movies I previously loved watching on repeat too. Instead, I've discovered all-new interests to fill my days, like reading novel-length books, coding and computer games, arts and crafts, and sports. I kind of miss the simplicity of just zoning out and watching the same old cartoon episode for the millionth time. But exploring fresh hobbies has been amazing for expanding my mind and creativity. Who knew I had such a knack for computer programming or that I'd get so obsessed with obscure facts about ancient civilizations? Every day, it feels like I'm discovering more about myself and what I enjoy. So yeah, quite a lot has changed in my world over the last couple of years! Between my rapid physical growth, increasing independence and responsibilities, more freedom with friends, bigger academic challenges, and evolving interests...it's been a whirlwind of new experiences. Some days I look back fondly on my preschool days without a care in the world. Other times, I can't wait to see what other awesome changes await as I continue getting older. No matter what though, I'll always have these memories of an extremely transformative period in my childhood. The changes haven't always been easy, but they've shaped me into who I am today. I can't。
我的新年决心英语作文八年级上册
我的新年决心英语作文八年级上册My New Year's ResolutionsThe new year is finally here! Can you believe 2024 has already arrived? It feels like just yesterday when I was a little kid, ringing in 2020 with my family. Now, I'm almost a teenager and will be starting high school soon. Wow, how time flies! As I get older, I've come to really appreciate the chance to start fresh with a new year. When the calendar resets to January 1st, it feels like a blank slate — an opportunity to reset my habits and goals. That's why I always make New Year's resolutions. Do you make them too?For those who don't know, a New Year's resolution is a promise you make to yourself to improve in some area of your life over the coming year. It could be a goal to get better grades, join a new club or sport, read more books, or develop a new skill. Basically, it's a way to challenge yourself to grow. This year, my main New Year's resolution is to be more organized and on top of my schoolwork. I have to admit, staying focused in class and keeping up with assignments was a real struggle for me last year. I'd often find myself cramming to finishhomework at the last minute or even forgetting about major projects until right before they were due. Not good!I know if I want to do well in high school, I need to get my act together when it comes to time management and study habits. This resolution is really important since my grades will start mattering a lot more for getting into a good college someday. So this year, I'm going to:Use a weekly planner to write down all my assignments, tests, and activitiesDo my homework right after school instead of leaving it for laterCreate a dedicated study space at home away from distractions like TVAsk my teachers for extra help if I'm struggling with a topicGive up procrastinating by staying off social media until all my work is doneIf I can really follow through on those habits, I know my overall organization and academic performance will improve a ton.But getting good grades isn't my only New Year's resolution for 2024. I also want to make more of an effort to spend quality time with family and friends. With all the schoolwork and extracurricular activities I have, it's easy for me to getover-scheduled and go days without properly catching up with my loved ones. This year, I'm committed to putting aside my phone more often to really be present with the people around me. Maybe I'll even convince my parents to implement a weekly "tech-free night" where we all unplug from devices and do a fun family activity together. With my friends, I want to get back into the habit of writing letters and sending snail mail, which is something we used to love doing when we were little kids. Getting an exciting envelope in the mail meant so much more than a boring text message! I'm going to encourage my friends to swap addresses again so we can revive that pen pal tradition. My final resolution for the new year is to try some new hobbies and activities to step out of my comfort zone. I tend to get stuck in routines, so I want to shake things up by exposing myself to fresh experiences.A few ideas I have are: taking a cooking class to learn how to make more than just frozen meals, joining my school's theater club even though I'm not a great actor, or finally learning how to animate after years of doodling characters in my notebooks.Expanding my interests and stepping out of my shell will help me keep growing as a person. You're never too old to explore new passions! Who knows, I may even discover a brand new career path I'd never considered before. So those are my goals for 2024: get organized with school, spend more quality time with loved ones, and try new hobbies. When I tak a step back, those resolutions all tie back to one main theme — being more present and making the most of each day. It's so easy to just go through the motions and let life pass you by, especially at my age. By setting these specific objectives, it will push me to be more intentional about how I spend my time and energy in the year ahead. Will keeping my New Year's resolutions be easy? Definitely not! Forming new habits is hard work. There will be days when I slack off on using my planner, pull an all-nighter on a project, or just want to veg out instead of doing something productive. But the start of a new year is the perfect motivation to get myself back on track.Even if I don't follow through 100% perfectly, I know I'll be better off for trying than making no resolutions at all. The main thing is putting in a solid effort and not giving up when I hit an inevitable bump in the road.So again, my personal goals for 2024 are:Be more organized with schoolSpend more quality time with family & friendsTry new hobbies and experiencesWhen December 31st rolls around at the end of this year, I'll check back in with myself on how well I followed through on these resolutions. Hopefully, I can look back with pride on a year of growth and learning. If not, there's always next year to try again! What are your New Year's resolutions for 2024? I'd love to hear them so we can help keep each other accountable throughout the year. Wishing you all the best in this fresh start! Let's make it our best year yet.。

初一英语作文 给汤姆回一封电子邮件
初一英语作文给汤姆回一封电子邮件全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Hey Tom!It's been a while since we last talked, hasn't it? I hope you're doing well and having a great time in your new school. I can't believe it's been almost a year since you moved away. Time really flies, doesn't it?I still remember the day you told me you were moving to a different city. I was so sad and didn't want you to leave. We've been best friends since kindergarten, and the thought of not having you around was just heart-breaking. Remember how we used to spend every afternoon after school playing video games or riding our bikes around the neighborhood? Those were the good old days.Anyway, enough about the past. I wanted to tell you all about what's been going on in my life since you left. Believe it or not, I actually miss going to school! I know, I know, that's something I never thought I'd say, but it's true. Middle school isso different from elementary school, and I've had to adjust to a lot of changes.First of all, the workload is way more intense. We have homework in almost every subject, and the teachers expect us to juggle multiple assignments at once. It's been a real challenge, but I've learned to manage my time better and stay organized. My mom even got me a planner to help me keep track of all my due dates and activities.Speaking of activities, I've joined a few clubs this year. I'm part of the school's robotics team, and we've been working on building a robot for an upcoming competition. It's been a lot of fun, but it's also been really challenging. I've had to learn how to code and use all sorts of tools and materials. Who knew building robots could be so complicated?I've also joined the drama club, and we're currently rehearsing for a school play. I'm not a main character or anything, but I have a few lines, and I've been practicing my acting skills. It's been a great way to meet new people and get out of my comfort zone.Oh, and I can't forget to mention the biggest change of all –we have different classes for each subject now! It's been weird having to switch classrooms and teachers throughout the day,but I've gotten used to it. My favorite class is definitely English, because I love reading and writing. Our teacher is really cool, and she encourages us to be creative and express ourselves. As for my social life, things have been a bit of a roller coaster. I've made some new friends, but I still miss hanging out with you and the rest of our old crew. It's been hard to find people who share the same interests as us, like playing video games or watching sci-fi movies. But I'm trying to keep an open mind and meet new people.Oh, and you'll never guess who's in my homeroom class –Sarah! Remember how we used to tease her all the time back in elementary school? Well, she's actually become one of my closest friends here. It turns out she's really cool and funny once you get to know her. Who would've thought, right?Anyway, I could go on and on about all the new experiences I've had in middle school, but I don't want to bore you too much. I'm just grateful that we can still keep in touch through emails and video calls. It's not the same as seeing you in person, but it's better than nothing.I can't wait to hear about how things are going in your new school and city. Are you making new friends? Have you joinedany clubs or sports teams? Are the teachers nice? Tell me everything!Oh, and before I forget, my mom says hi and that she misses you. She still can't believe your family moved so far away. But she's glad we can still stay in touch thanks to modern technology.Well, that's all for now, Tom. I hope you enjoyed reading about my middle school adventures. I can't wait to hear back from you and catch up on your life as well.Your best friend,[Your Name]篇2Dear Tom,Hey, it was so great to get your email the other day! I've been meaning to write back but things have been pretty crazy around here lately with school and all. You know how it is, I'm sure you're just as swamped with homework and activities as I am. Middle school is no joke!Anyway, I'm really excited that your family is planning a trip to China next summer. That is going to be an amazingexperience. I'm a little jealous, if I'm being honest. The closestI've been to Asia is when my parents took us to that amazing Japanese restaurant in the city for my birthday last year. But just being surrounded by the decorations and aromas gave me a little taste of what a different culture is like. I can only imagine how mind-blowing it will be for you to actually visit China! You asked about what kinds of things you should make sure to see and do while you're there. Well, I'm definitely no expert, but I did a big research project on China last year for social studies class. Let me share some of the highlights that stuck out to me:First off, you absolutely have to visit the Great Wall of China. That's obviously like the number one thing on everybody's bucket list for China. And for good reason - it's one of the most incredible architectural feats in human history. Just the fact that it stretches over 13,000 miles is impossible to even comprehend. Make sure to get your parents to take a ton of pictures from different angles so we can all be totally jealous when you come back!Speaking of amazing architecture, you've got to hit up some of the incredible temples too. The Forbidden City in Beijing looks unreal, with those ornate buildings and bright colors. And theTemple of Heaven with its unique circular designs seems like another must-see. I just can't fathom what it must be like to stand amidst structures that have been around for literally centuries and centuries. The history and culture of it all is just mind-boggling to me.Then there's the crazy modern side of China too that fascinates me. From what I've read, cities like Shanghai are just totally futuristic, with some of the wildest skyscrapers and biggest megamalls you've ever seen. I think I read that the Shanghai Tower is like over 2,000 feet tall - which is insane! I can't really wrap my head around buildings being that enormously tall. And the municipal architecture in places like Beijing's Olympic venues looks so cool and avant-garde. You're going to feel like you've been transported a hundred years into the future or something.Another thing I think would be so awesome is to see one of the minorities's traditional dances or shows. Like maybe you can catch a performance with some elaborately costumed Tibetan dancers spinning around with those colorful streamers and ribbons. Or find a place to see some Dai minority dances - I saw a video of that in class once and the ladies' dresses and headdresses looked so intricate and beautiful as they twirledaround. Anything to get a taste of those ancient cultural traditions would be really special.Oh, and if you're the outdoorsy type at all, your family has to hit up some national parks or scenic areas. I'm just picturing you guys hiking through misty bamboo forests or checking out epic limestone karst landscapes with those craggy pillars poking out of the ground. It would be so unbelievable to experience some of China's diverse and gorgeous natural scenery up close and personal. Maybe you'd even spot some famous Chinese wildlife like the giant panda or that funky looking Yangtze river dolphin (if they still exist)! No matter what you do or where you go though, I just know you're going to have the time of your life. Experiencing a place with such a vast history and totally distinct culture from our own is going to be utterly fascinating. You've got to soak in every minute of it and make a million memories to bring back home with you. I want to hear all about those jaw-dropping sights, random moments of culture shock, and just your overall impressions of this place that seems so exotic and foreign from our neck of the woods. While you're off being a world traveler though, don't forget about us common folk back here in little old Wisconsin! We'll bestuck in the same old routine of homework, yearbook club meetings, bad cafeteria food, and zoning out in math class as per usual. No doubt I'll be insanely jealous reading about your East Asian adventures. But I'll be living vicariously through you, so be sure to document everything with tons of photos and video! An experience like that is going to shape how you see the world in such a profound way. I can't wait for you to return as a culturally enriched, wise-beyond-his-years dude with all kinds of wild stories to tell.Okay, I guess that's about all the random China thoughts I can ramble on about for now. This turned into a total novel! Let me know if you have any other questions at all as your trip gets closer. I'll do my best to provide guidance or recommendations, although obviously my knowledge pales in comparison to what you're about to go and experience for real. No matter what, I just know it's going to be the journey of a lifetime for you. Cherish every second of it, my friend!Talk to you again soon,[Your name]篇3Dear Tom,Thanks a ton for your email! It was so awesome to hear from you. You always tell the funniest stories. I couldn't stop laughing when I read about how you accidentally put salt in your mom's coffee instead of sugar. Haha, I can just picture the look on her face when she took a big gulp! Your poor mom. But hey, at least it gave you guys something to laugh about later.Things have been pretty good here. School is keeping me super busy as usual. My classes aren't too bad this semester except for math. Why does algebra have to be so confusing? I swear, half the time I have no clue what the teacher is talking about. It's like she's speaking a foreign language or something. I'm trying my best, but man, those equations make my brain hurt.I don't know how I'm ever going to pass that class. Maybe you can tutor me over video chat sometime? You were always a math whiz.Speaking of classes, we just started a really cool project in science. We're learning all about renewable energy sources like solar, wind, and hydropower. For the project, we have to design and build our own small-scale renewable energy system. My group decided to do a wind turbine. We're going to use stuff like plastic bottles, cardboard, and other recycled materials to construct it. I'm really excited to see if we can get it to actuallygenerate any electricity! Wouldn't it be amazing if we could use renewable energy to power our school one day? It would be so much better for the environment than getting our power from coal or natural gas plants. In other news, I'm seriously addicted to this new show on streaming about a group of friends who solve mysteries together. It's SO good! The characters are hilarious and the mysteries always keep me guessing until the very end. I can't wait for the next season to come out. We should definitely binge watch it together over the summer. Maybe we could have a big sleepover party and make it a whole thing with junk food, video games, the whole nine yards? That would be an epic time.Oh, and get this - you'll never believe what happened last weekend! You know that neighbor kid, Billy, who is always causing trouble? Well, he decided it would be hilarious to TP my house when my parents were out of town. Can you imagine?! I wake up Saturday morning, go to let my dog out, and our whole front yard is covered in toilet paper! There were even some rolls stuck in the trees. I was SO mad. Just wait until I get my hands on that little brat...My parents are letting me get a job this summer to start earning some spending money. I'm going to apply at the mall tobe a cashier or something. Having my own income will be so cool. Maybe I can finally save up to get that new video game I've been wanting. Or even better, I could start putting away money for a car! How awesome would it be to have my own set of wheels by the time I'm a junior? I could drive all my friends around and we wouldn't have to beg our parents for rides anymore. We'd be the kings of freedom! Ok, maybe that's getting a little ahead of myself. Baby steps.Anyways, that's about all my news for now. Be sure to write back soon and let me know what's going on with you! Have you beaten that impossible level on Mega Blasteroids Redemption yet? If anyone can do it, it's you. You're like a video game master or something. I'll talk to you later!Your friend,[Your Name]篇4Dear Tom,Hey buddy! It's me, your old pal from middle school. I hope you're doing great and enjoying your new school. I miss hangingout with you during recess and goofing around in class (well, maybe not that last part – Mrs. Johnson would kill us!).Remember when we used to trade Pokémon cards during lunch break? Those were the days! Speaking of Pokémon, did you catch the latest episodes? I heard they introduced a new legendary Pokémon called Eternatus. It looks so cool, like a massive dragon made of energy! I can't wait to add it to my collection.Anyway, enough about Pokémon. How's life treating you in your new town? I bet you've already made a bunch of new friends. You've always been the funny and outgoing one, so I'm sure everyone likes you. As for me, things are pretty much the same here. School is still a drag, but at least we have summer vacation coming up soon!Speaking of vacation, my parents are planning a trip to the beach this year. Can you believe it? A whole week of swimming, building sandcastles, and eating ice cream all day long! I can't wait to work on my tan and show off my impressive farmer's tan when I get back. You know how it is – my arms and legs turn into a beautiful shade of lobster red while my torso remains as pale as a ghost!Oh, and get this – my little sister is driving me crazy lately. She's at that annoying age where she thinks she knows everything. The other day, she had the audacity to call me a "bro-head" in front of my friends! Can you believe that? Where does she even learn these things? I swear, if she doesn't stop being such a brat, I'm going to lock her in the basement and only let her out for meals.Just kidding, of course! My parents would ground me for life if I did that. But seriously, she needs to learn to respect her elders (even if I'm only a year older than her).Anyway, enough about my family drama. How are things going with your parents and siblings? I hope your little brother isn't giving you too much trouble. Remember when we used to tease him mercilessly? We were such brats back then, but I still miss those carefree days.Oh, before I forget, did you hear about the new video game that's coming out next month? It's called "Battlegrounds Royale" or something like that. Basically, you get dropped into this massive arena with a bunch of other players, and you have to scavenge for weapons and supplies while trying to be the last one standing. It sounds intense, but also super fun! We should definitely team up and play it together online.Man, I can't believe how long this email is getting. I guess I just have a lot to catch you up on. I haven't even mentioned the drama with Jessica and her new boyfriend yet! But I'll save that juicy gossip for another time.In the meantime, make sure you're staying out of trouble and paying attention in class (unlike us back in the day). I know it's tempting to goof off, but education is important, my friend. Trust me, you don't want to end up flipping burgers for a living like your old pal here. Just kidding again! But seriously, study hard and make your parents proud.Well, that's about all for now. I can't wait to hear back from you and catch up on all the latest gossip from your new school. Until then, take care and stay awesome, buddy!Your friend,[Your Name]篇5Certainly! Here's a 2000-word essay in English, written from the perspective of a middle school student responding to an email from Tom. The language and tone are intended to mimic a young student's writing style.Dear Tom,Hey, it's me, your friend from school! I hope you're doing well and enjoying your time away. I was so excited to get your email the other day – it's been ages since we last talked! I can't believe how much has happened since you moved away.First of all, I have to tell you about the crazy thing that happened in Mr. Johnson's math class last week. You know how he's always super strict about no talking and no passing notes? Well, during the pop quiz, I accidentally dropped my pencil, and when I bent down to pick it up, I found a crumpled-up piece of paper on the floor. Naturally, my curious self had to take a peek, and to my surprise, it was a hilarious note from Jenny to Sarah, making fun of Mr. Johnson's weird haircut! I tried so hard not to laugh out loud, but I just couldn't help it. Mr. Johnson caught me giggling and demanded to know what was so funny. I panicked and blurted out something about remembering a funny joke I heard earlier. Luckily, he didn't press further, but I thought I was going to get detention for sure!Speaking of detention, remember that time we got caught trying to sneak into the cafeteria kitchen to steal some extra cookies? That was such a close call! Mrs. Thompson was furious, but we managed to talk our way out of it by promising to helpwith cafeteria clean-up duty for a whole month. It was totally worth it for those delicious chocolate chip cookies, though.Oh, and you'll never guess what happened at the school dance last Friday! Jessica, the girl who never talks to anyone, showed up wearing the most amazing dress. It was bright pink with sparkles all over it, and she had her hair done up in this fancy updo. Everyone was staring at her in disbelief, including me. It turns out she's been taking dance lessons for years and just never told anyone! She totally stole the show with her incredible dance moves. Who knew she had it in her? You're probably wondering how the rest of our friends are doing, too. Well, let me tell you, things have been pretty crazy around here lately. Remember how Mark used to be obsessed with video games? He's taken it to a whole new level! He started a gaming club at school, and they even compete in tournaments against other schools. Last month, they won the regional championship and got to go to the state finals. Mark was so excited, he could hardly contain himself. As for Sarah, she's still the same old Sarah – always getting into trouble and causing mischief. Just last week, she convinced a group of us to skip class and go hang out at the park instead. We thought we were being so sneaky, but of course, Mr. Lewiscaught us and gave us all detention. Sarah didn't seem too bothered by it, though. She just laughed it off like it was no big deal.Oh, and you'll never believe what happened to Billy! You know how he's always been a bit of a class clown, right? Well, he took it too far this time. During Mrs. Wilson's English class, he started making these ridiculous animal noises, and before we knew it, the whole class was in stitches. Mrs. Wilson was not amused, to say the least. She sent him straight to the principal's office, and he ended up getting suspended for a week! I don't know how he's going to explain that one to his parents.Anyway, enough about our crazy school adventures. How's life treating you in your new town? I hope you're making lots of new friends and having a blast exploring all the cool places around there. You have to tell me all about it!Oh, and before I forget, I wanted to let you know that our soccer team made it to the playoffs this year! Can you believe it? After all those years of losing and getting knocked out in the first round, we finally turned things around. Coach Davis has been working us hard, but it's paying off. We're playing the semi-finals next weekend, and if we win, we'll be heading to the championship game! It's been so exciting, and the whole schoolis rallying behind us. I'll make sure to keep you updated on how we do.Well, I think that's about all the news I have for now. I miss having you around, buddy. Things just aren't the same without you cracking jokes and keeping us all entertained. Promise me you'll come back and visit soon, okay?Take care, and keep those emails coming! I want to hear all about your new adventures.Your friend,[Your Name]篇6Dear Tom,Hi there! It's me, your friend from school. I hope you're doing well and having a great summer vacation so far. I'm writing to reply to your email from last week. Thanks for sharing all the fun details about your family trip to the beach. It sounds like you had an amazing time! I'm a little jealous that you got to go swimming and build sandcastles while I've been stuck at home, but I'm glad you enjoyed yourself.Speaking of being stuck at home, that's pretty much howI've spent my entire summer so far. My parents have been really busy with work, so we haven't gone on any big trips or anything. It's been pretty boring, to be honest. I've mostly just been playing video games, watching TV, and reading books to pass the time. I know, I know, not the most exciting way to spend my summer break. But hey, at least I'm not falling too far behind on my schoolwork, right?Oh, who am I kidding? You know me, Tom – I'm not really the type to stay on top of my studies during the holidays. I've barely even cracked open a book since school let out. I'm sure my teachers are going to have a field day when they realize how much I've forgotten over the summer. Can you imagine the look on Mrs. Johnson's face when she sees how rusty my math skills have gotten? Yikes! But enough about my lazy summer – let's talk about something more fun. Have you heard about that new movie that just came out, the one with all the superheroes in it? My parents took me to see it last weekend, and it was so cool! The special effects were incredible, and there were so many intense action scenes. My favorite part was probably when... you know what, never mind. I don't want to spoil it for you in case you haven't seen it yet. Just trust me, it's worth watching on the big screen.Actually, now that I think about it, we should totally go see it together when you get back from your trip! We could make a whole day of it – grab some snacks, hit the movie theater, and just hang out like we used to before summer started. It'll be like a little reunion for us. What do you say? I know how much you love those superhero flicks, so I'm sure you'll be just as blown away by this one as I was.Man, I really miss hanging out with you and the rest of our friends from school. Don't get me wrong, I've loved having all this free time to myself. But it does get a little lonely after a while, you know? I can't wait for the new school year to start up again so we can all be back together. Eighth grade is going to be so much fun, I just know it!Although, I guess that also means we'll be the oldest kids in the middle school again. No more being the little seventh grade newbies that all the older students push around. This time, we'll be the ones calling the shots! Well, at least until we're freshmen in high school next year. Then the cycle will just start all over again with us on the bottom of the totem pole. The joys of being a teenager, am I right? But you know what? I'm not going to worry about that just yet. For now, I'm just going to enjoy what's left of our final middle school summer. Who knows, maybe I'll even find the motivation to actually do some of my summer reading for English class before the new term starts. Yeah, yeah, I know –don't hold your breath on that one.Anyway, I should probably wrap this up. I'm starting to ramble, and I know how easily you get bored reading long emails. Just don't forget: you, me, the movies, as soon as you're back from vacation. It's a plan! Can't wait to see you soon!Your friend,[Your Name]。
