Lesson 11 How’s the Weather Today?
一、教材分析
本课内主要学习有关天气的词汇,以及运用这些词汇来描述天气情况。
学生在第十课已经学过有关天气的名词,如:sun rain wind snow cloud及句子,对如何描述天气情况有了初步的认识。
本节课要求在此基础上进一步描述不同的天气状况,进行知识拓展。
1.教学目标
●知识目标与技能:
(1)能听懂,会说,认读,书写单词how weather sunny rainy windy、cloudy snowy cool
(2)能听懂,会说并灵活运用:How’s the weather.? It’s rainy...
(3)能够用英语简单谈论天气情况。
●情感态度:通过学习让孩子们学会关注天气,愉快出行;培养学生友好协作的精神和乐观自信的学习态度。
●学习策略:积极运用所学的语言进行表达和交流;注意观察生活中使用的简单英语;鼓励自主、合作、探究的学习行为。
2. 教学重点
(1)认读rainy、windy、sunny、cloudy等词汇,并能运用这些词汇描绘天气, (2)运用句子How’s the weather? It’s ….进行交际。

1、①、PPT呈现太阳动态:Look!The rain goes away, and what’s coming?
Ss: The sun. 全班齐读,教师纠正发音
②. T-S:How’s the weather? It’s sunny. 教师领读weather, 指出ea读/e/;
板书,强调字母y
③.教授新词sunny 示范发音推火车练习男女生分组练习发音,教师纠正发音How’s the weather? It’s sunny.
④T-S How’s the weather? It’s sunny. 男女生问答
⑤出现两幅sunny图片,T-S How’s the weather? It’s sunny.
⑥引导学生观察图片回答
Where are they on a sunny day? What are they doing on a sunny day?
How do you feel on a sunny day?
2、①出示ppt,乌云遮住太阳
T-S Where is the sun? The sun is behind the cloud.
引出cloud. 师引导:How’s the weather? It is cloudy.
②板书,强调字母y 逐排练习clou d→cloudy纠正/au/ /i/ 的发音,
教师引导学生观察How many clouds are there? 提醒cloud 变复数为clouds./z/ ③出示三幅阴天图片
T-S How’s the weather? It is cloudy.
How do you feel on a cloudy day?
3、①教师运用课件中的风声,让同学们猜测What’s this?
生答It’s the wind. 强调wind /w/ 的发音
T-S:How’s the weather? It is windy.师板书, 强调字母y
②再次出现windy图片,T-S How’s the weather? It is windy.
4、①ppt 呈现雷声闪电,接着出现下雨
T-S What’s coming down? It’s the rain.
T-S How’s the weather? It is rainy. 师板书,红笔强调字母y
②出现三幅rainy.图片,T-S Is it sunny? No, it isn’t.
Is it windy? No, it isn’t.
Is it cloudy? No, it isn’t.
T-S How’s the weather? It is rainy.
复习旧知raincoat, umbrella,警告Don’t stand under the tree on a rainy day.
5、①出现snowy 的图片,T-S Is it rainy? No. It’s snowy.引导出snowy
T-S: How’s the weather? It is snowy.
师板书,红笔强调字母y
②T:领读sno w→snowy ,强调发音,T-S What colour is the snow?
How do you feel on a snowy day?
Boys ask and girls answer. How’s the weather ?It is snowy.
6、师领读,引导学生发现构词规律教师把每个单词的最后一个字母y用红笔写出,向学生解释名词后加y变成了形容词。
sun------sunny rain ------rainy snow----snowy cloud—cloudy wind---windy
7、Give the students 2 minutes to read part1 and find out the words of weather .Ask some of them to read the sentences and repeat the weather words.
8 、Group work and show
Guess the weather ask and answer(利用课件,课件只显示天气的部分特征,让学生判断是什么天气)
