Be prepared. Make sure you are fully prepared next time you take a test. This includes going over your notes carefully, getting a good night's sleep, and getting to class early. Slow your breathing. Try breathing in deeply through your nose and exhaling through your mouth. This will slow your breathing and help to control your heart rate.
Failure is part of learning. Positive people regard failure as a chance to learn and get better. They understand that failure is just an event and that it doesn’t decide who they are. Negative people are disabled by failure because they allow it to decide who they are. They fail to understand that it's part of the learning and growing process. I can do hard things. Positive people love to be challenged. They understand that there is no growth without hard work. Positive people welcome difficulties, and look for ways to overcome them. Negative people love the easy road. Because difficulties increase the possibility of failure, they try to avoid them. To negative people, hard times don't make you. Instead, they break you. I still have a lot to learn. Positive people love to learn. They understand information improves, and that what used to work 10 years ago might not be useful today. Negative people believe they know everything, and are less likely to welcome new information if it is different from what they believe. They care less about what's right, and more about who’s right.
Listen to music. Music has a great power to change your mood. Before a test, try listening to light music to calm yourself down.
Talk to a doctor. A doctor from your school’s health center could help you better understand your test anxiety and could offer tools to transform it.
