T:Let me named our groups:River /Bridge /Square /Street.(领读组名)

T:Which group wants to show?T: Who can tell me “What’s the weather like today?”

S: Today is cold, cloudy, windy …

T: Yes, thank you. Now what day is it today?

S: Today is Friday.

2. Warm up

T: Now boys and girls, We will play a game. (火眼金睛闪词游戏，胜者为其小组加分。)

T:You did very good job.Follow me,please.(边做动作边复习形容词，逐渐加快速度，增强趣味性。扩充新词：beautiful /smart) Step2. Presentation

1. About London.

T: We will visit London. Now,look at the pictures. This is the map of London.

Do you know this one? How do you think about it? (CAI一一出示伦敦桥、泰晤士河、伦敦眼、大本钟的图片，学生描述其特征。) S: It’s big….

T: Good job! You did very good job.You know so many places of London.

2.About Beijing.

T: Do you know some places of Beijing?Maybe you can use Chines e.

S:故宫、长城、颐和园、十三陵……

(CAI出示图片，教授相应单词：the Great Wall/Tian’anmen Square/Ch ang’an Street/the Ming Tombs/the Summer Palace/the Palace Museu m…)

T: Can you use one word to describe the Great Wall?

S: Big, long, high, and beautiful

T: Yes,you’re so clever.

(引导观察图上的其他细节，看图说话。如：There are many tree s and flowers.)

3.Work in groups

T: Talk about Beijing in your groups.

Ss practice the sentence pattern in groups,then show.

Step 3:

1、T:Wonderful.Now,look at the picture.It’s about Weifang.I’m f rom Weifang.

Weifang is a beautiful city.It’s famous for kites.
