教学目标:
1. 能正确朗读单词:bread, hamburger, milk, juice, ice cream, watermelon.
2. 能发出正确的资料: What do you want? I want a hamburger, please. What do you want to drink? I want a glass of milk, please.
3. 能灵活运用所学句型进行口语交流:What do you want? I want a _______________, please. What do you want to drink?
I want a glass of ________________, please.
教学重点:能正确朗读单词、正确发出所学句型,掌握简单的口语交流。
教学难点:正确朗读单词及口语交流。
教学过程:
Step 1:Warm-up
Ask the students: What did you have for breakfast/ lunch today? Encourage the students to use the sentence pattern: I had _________
Step 2:Presentation
1. Show the pictures of the food and drinks and teach the vocabulary:
bread, hamburger, milk, juice, ice cream, watermelon.
2. Use TPR (Total Physical Response) to teach the vocabulary:
T: Show me the picture of bread.
Ss: (pointing to the picture) Bread.
T: Touch your head. (students do the action)
T: Touch the picture of juice. (students touch the picture)
3. Ask and answer questions about the food and drinks using the sentence pattern:
What do you want? I want a hamburger, please.
What do you want to drink? I want a glass of milk, please.
Have the students practice the sentence patterns in pairs.
Step 3:Practice
1. Divide the class into two groups. Group A will be the customers and group B will be the waiters/waitresses.
