本单元的句型较多,主要是让学生能够较详细地介绍自己。所以前三节课通过各种练习及相关的任务让学生基本掌握了本单元的主要句型,而本节课主要是通过完成教学活动,培养学生语言综合能力的应用,本节课中阅读量较大,为学生提供了一定量的输入,为语言的最终输出做准备。在任务过程中学生通过小组活动不但可以充分练习语言而且可以培养学生的协作精神。最终学生在掌握语言的同时还能了解一些国家的背景知识及地理知识。
1.Point out the list of countries in1a. Let Ss circle the names of the countries the people aretalking about.
2.Play the recording the first time.
3.Play the recording a second time. Ss only listen.
2.Play the recoding a second time. Ask Ss to repeat the names of the countries
3.Let Ss read the new words aloud individually or in pairs.

1.Review the grammar box. Ask Ss to say the questions and answers.
