一、教材分析:
本节课是小学六年级英语第三单元的故事课。

本故事的篇幅很长,是在学生学习了Winter in Canada一章后的故事课,实际上是对本单元所学内容的综合呈现。

二、学生分析
小学六年级的学生已经有了一定的英语水平,但因借班上课,不了解学生学习的情况,所以,在讲课过程中,问题的设计尽量简单而实用,以便学生能够理解整个故事。

三、教学目标:
1、通过本故事的学习,使学生理解该故事,掌握故事情节;
2、复习并运用本单元所学的与冬天趣事有关的运动句型和词汇,并能简单复述本故事;
3、激发学生的已有生活体验,培养学生对大自然和生活的热爱之情,进一步创建自己的故事。

四、教学重点、难点:
1、理解陌生词汇的意思,掌握其读法;
2、找出故事的主线;
3、初步掌握讲故事的方法。

五、教学方法:直观教学法,情景教学法,合作学习法。

六、教具:图片、录音机、帽子、围巾七:教学过程:Step one:Warming-up 1)Greetings T: Hello, boys and girls.How are you? Ss: I’m fine.Thanks.T:What is this? Ss: It is a snowman.T: Do you like to make a snowman? Ss: Yes.T:Today we learn a story.It is about a snowman.设计意图:由师生对话,引出本课话题,激活学生的学习兴趣,让学生明白我们本课要学的内容与雪人有关,唤起学生的已有相关知识储备。

Step two: Presentation 1)Show the pictures one by one and guess what happened.设计意图:运用图片直观形象,使学生初步了解故事情节,同时激发学生的想象力,引发学生学习此故事的好奇心,为进一步学习该故事做铺垫;
2)Then read the story simply and find out the difficult words and explain them to students.said---say put---put played---play made---make took---take was---is

asked---ask 设计意图:解决相关陌生单词,为学生学习此故事
除去心理上感觉困难的障碍,可使学生从心理上减轻负担;
3)Listen to the tape again and read the each part of the story following the tape.Then find volunteers to give the answers.1.Who made the snowman in the story?
2.When could the snowman talk?
3.Did the snowman have feet?
4.When could the snowman skate?
4.Why was the snowman sad?
5.Did John help the snowman in the end of this story? 设计意图:设定问题,通过听录音找出相关问题的答案,使学生的听力有目标,可以促进学生进一步理解故事情节;4)Read the story again and play a game:
Choose one pocket which is on the blackboard and pick out the message.Then read it to the whole students and judge it.设计意图:对于判断是否符合故事情节这一方法,考察学生对故事细节的理解;通过做游戏,可以提升学生的学习热情,活跃课堂气氛。

Step three: Activities 1)Free talk: 1)Do you like this snowman? Why? 2)Can you think a different ending? 设计意图:设计该问题是在学生理解故事发展情节的基础上,充分发挥学生的想象力,使学生的认知、情感等得到发展。

2)Group work:
Four students in one group.Two students who play as John and the snowman read the words according to the situation and the other two students play the roles 3)Conclude their work.设计意图:通过小组表演,使学生进一步了解故事,同时进一步提升学生的表达能力,与他人的合作意识。

Step four: Homework
1)Listen to the tape once more.2)Tell the story to their family.设计意图:课下听录音使学生再一次感知故事;向他人讲故事,体现了学生对故事情节的把握,同时培养了学生初步讲故事的能力。

any friends of mine who study in the north upload a lot of interesting pictures about snowmen on their personal blogs.Born in the south and bred in the south;I never ever have a chance to see snow.I think they must have fun when they made a snowman.I really envy them.Every time I tell my parents we should go to the north for Spring Festival but they don’t agree(my father has some relations in Shanxi where snows every year)they think we could get sick because of the cold weather.Maybe someday I can travel to the north by myself.I know that the cultural in the north is totally different from south.In south, we almost eat everything, while in the north, people staple food is wheat.I hear that they eat noodles all the time.I don’t know it’s true or not.I just want t o travel to there to test it by myself.In my opinion, traveling alone or with my friends to the north is quite a challenge for me.I wish i can save enough money, so I can go there to see the view of the north.我有很多在南方读书的朋友,他们都在个人博客上上传了关于雪人的照片。

生长在南方,我从未见过雪。

我觉得堆雪人的时候一定很好玩。

我很羡慕他们。

每次我告诉我的父母我们应该去南方过年时,他们却不愿意。

(父亲有兄弟在陕西,那里每年都下雪)。

他们认为如果去北方的话会因为寒冷而生病。

也许某一天我会自己去北方旅游。

我认为北方的文化和南方的完全不一样。

在南方,我们基本上什
么都可以作为食材。

而在北方,人们的主食则是面粉。

我听说他们总是吃面条。

我不知道这是否是真的还是假的。

我想自己去北方旅游,然后看看这是否为真。

在我看来,独自一人或者与朋友去北方是种挑战。

我希望我能存到足够的钱,然后去体验北方的风景。

活动目标:
1、通过复习使幼儿对五官类的英文名称熟练掌握。

2、通过活动培养幼儿的反应能力、观察能力以及审美能力,帮助雪人完成五官粘贴。

3、能听懂简单的日常用语,并会用简单的日常用语进行交流。

活动准备:
1、五官卡片(eye、mouth、nose、ear)
2、没有五官的雪人图片、五官图片
3、歌曲《This is my snowman》、《Head shoulder knees and toes》
活动过程:
1、向幼儿问好,询问天气,歌曲《Head shoulder knees and toes》导入活动 How are you today? I am great.How are you today?
I am so so.How are you today? I am terrible.How’s the weather today? 幼儿回答。

Let’s do a warm up? Ok? 播放《Head shoulder knees and toes》
2、游戏中巩固单词
教师出示五官卡片what’s this?
幼儿用It’s ***回答复习单词。

(音调高低,如卡片举高大声读,放低小声(也可左右表示快慢))游戏:(1)吹气球 Blow the balloon (2)我说你指教师说touch your eye/mouth/nose/ear幼儿做出相应的动作
3、帮小雪人贴五官
把没有五官的雪人图片贴在黑板上,让幼儿蒙眼睛帮助其完成五官粘贴。

(Look the blackboard,this snowman has no eyes,no mouth,no nose,no ears,let’s help her)在歌曲中和雪人一起玩耍。

(Thank you for your help,the snowman is very happy,let’s have a dance)
4、在歌谣中结束活动Snow,snow Snowman grow She has eyes,she has nose,she has mouth,she has ears Oh,the sun Snowman run.。
