询 盘In,te询rna价tional business negotiations start with enquiries. An enquiry is sent by a buyer or a seller to a potential supplier or customer to seek terms and conditions or the possibility of transactions. In other words, it is a request for the supply of certain information on commodity, service or conditions and terms of transactions. International trade enquires are us u报al价ly send out by the importer, who invites a quotation or an offer for the goods he wishes to buy or发s盘im,p发ly价asks for some general information about these goods.

where you obtained your potential supplier’s name (an embassy, consulate, chamber of commerce, an exhibition or trade fair, an advertisement, or a business associate); who you are; why you wrote this letter; what you would like your prospective supplier to send you (a catalogue, a price list, discounts, method of payment, delivery times, samples, etc.); and a closing sentence to round off the enquiry.
2. Related information
Enquires, from regular customers, may be very simple in content, in which only the name and/or descriptions of the commodity will be mentioned.
If you sent the first enquiry to the seller without any previous business relationship, the information channel through which you got his name of corporation should be mentioned first, and then followed by the details of your own business and purpose of writing the letter. Specifically, a first inquiry should normally include:

Enquires can be classified into two categories: general enquiries and specific enquiries. General enq一u般iri询es盘are very brief 具an体d 询sim盘ple in content, in which general information about products is required, such as a pricelist, a catalogue, a booklet, quotations, samples, etc. Specific enquiries request more detailed information of a specific product, such as prices terms, quantity, port of shipment and packing.
