Retro shopping is to compare prices for an item after you've already purchased it.

Example:
Carrie couldn't resist buying that Manolo Blahnik heels as soon as she saw it. After a little retro shopping, she was thrilled to realize she also got a great deal on it.

Example:
People who love luxury goods but could not afford them can satisfy themselves with entry lux. They could enjoy a life of exquisite taste without having to spend a lot of money.

Deshopper is a person who buys something with the specific intention of using it and later returning it to the shop for a full refund.
Example:
Typical deshopping activities include the purchase, copying and subsequent return of CDs and DVDs, perhaps claiming that they did not play properly, or buying a dress to wear once to a party and later returning it for a full refund, sometimes even replacing the original price tags.
Although most of the retailers are aware of deshopping, few have taken steps to update return policies, due to the risk of customer defection in today's highly competitive environment. Key traits of deshoppers were the tendency to brag about deshopping victories to friends, and the perception that returning goods for a full refund was like
'winning a battle' against retailers.
Pop-up retail, also known as pop-up store/shop or flash retailing, is a trend of opening short-term sales spaces popular in America and Europe.

Showrooming is the practice of going to a conventional store to look at a product and then buying it online for a cheaper price.
There are certain things we may want to see before we buy, because any written description or image on the web, no matter how detailed, is just no substitute for looking at the real thing. This is where showrooming kicks in. We pop down to our local
bricks-and-mortar retailer who has spent precious time and money displaying products in an appealing way, and check the thing out. If satisfied, we then go home and buy said item from an online retailer, who can give us a much better deal because it doesn't have the costly overheads associated with displaying products for consumers to examine.
Monitor shopping is another form of window shopping, except that instead of wandering in stores, all you have to do is to log on to a shopping website. You’re online only browsing, not looking for anything in particular because you can’t afford it or you don’t need any of them, but you enjoy looking anyway. Maybe you’ll save something in your favorites or shopping cart for when you do have money.
For example:
I have been monitor shopping the whole afternoon, my neck is killing me now.
Chinsumer, a blend of Chinese and consumer, refers to generous Chinese consumers who spend a lot on brand name products when travelling abroad.

Cyber model, or ma dou in Chinese, is an emerging occupation amid a boom in the country's online shopping. Cyber models do not strut the catwalk. They pose for pictures that get posted online for stores to showcase their products.
To become a cyber model, you don't necessarily have to be tall and thin with long legs like the profess ionals. Having a pretty face and being able to pose vivaciously like a “girl next door” are most important.
The models are mostly college students or white-collar workers, whose employers are mainly small online clothing stores operating on a shoestring budget.
TRANSUMERS(blend of transient and consumer) are big-spending travelers. They are consumers who increasingly live a transient lifestyle, freeing themselves from the hassles of permanent ownership and possessions. The fixed is replaced by an obsession with the current, an ever-shorter satisfaction span, and a lust to collect as many experiences and stories as possible…
Transumer(transient和consumer两个词的合成形式)指旅途中大量购物的游客。
