A teacher pronounces an English word in front of the blackboard and then the students repeat the word back to him. Then they are asked to wri5te the word out 10 times in their exercise books after class. As a result, the teacher shouts himself hoarse(嘶哑)while the students are tired of repetitions.

Now with the help of the school computer network, Pei can warmly welcome ideas from his students. “Since everybody can talk on the school net at the same,it saves time.”said Pei, “The network enables me to give instruction to every member of the class, even though their needs differ.”

A Big Forest Fire
A big forest fire broke out in the northeast of China in the early April.
It is said that the reason for the big fire was that a young worker smoked carelessly in the forest. As the big fire lasted about a month, several thousand soldiers and local people joined in the fight against it .It claimed about 200 lives and a loss of at least ten million yuan. As a result, the whole nation was shocked by it and was thinking of the lesson of this damage. Writing 2:
The main idea of the article is that: Today, a large number of middle school students are studying in western countries, which surprises some western people.
We often read in newspaper that more and more Chinese parents sent their children to study abroad.
There are many advantages in attending schools abroad. First of all, young students can learn more advanced knowledge of science and technology.
When they come back to China, they can use what they have learnt to better serve our country. Besides, they can learn and grow up in different cultures, which help they understand the world better .Learning foreign languages more quickly is another advantage, too. However, there are some disadvantages.
When middle schools students go abroad, most of them are too young to live by themselves, because they have been taken care of by their parents at home and having no experience to live independently.
In my point of view, I don’t agree to go abroad to attend schools abroad.
With the development of our country, we now have both advanced equipment and many good teachers as well. So long as we study hard, we can study well at home.。
