学生优秀习作选登互动平台How Music Works Some surveys show that different kinds of music can influence people differently and change their moods.Now let me tell you how they work.If you feel stressed and worry a lot,you can listen to classical music.Then you will feel relaxed.Some of the students are crazy about computer games and often get too excited.They can listen to country music.After listening to it,they will feel calm and peaceful.If you feel tired and sleepy,you can listen to rock music.It will make you feel excited.Sometimes when you feel lonely and sad,you can try listening to pop music.Then you will become active and confident.Music is so wonderful.Almost everyone needs it,right?The Value of Reading Books People often say that gold and silver are the most valuable things in the world.But I don ’t think so.In my opinion,reading books is more valuable than anything else.The old saying “To open a book is always helpful ”clearly tells us how good it is to read a book.Books are our friends.They introduce to us different kinds of knowledge.They lead us down the road to success.Books are our teachers.They teach us truth,science,literature,and philosophy of life.Besides,they increase our knowledge,enlarge our experience,strengthen our character,and do many other things which we can not do without them.Books tell us what is good and what is evil.And books can tell the good from the bad.Therefore,reading more books is the best way to spend our spare time.
