教案:
Unit 1: We Should Protect Our Environment
Period: 1
Topic: Environmental Protection
Objectives:
- To introduce vocabulary related to environmental protection
- To learn about the importance of protecting the environment
- To encourage students to take action in protecting the environment
Materials:
- PPT slides with pictures of pollution and environmental actions - Flashcards with vocabulary words
- Worksheet with questions about environmental protection Procedure:
1. Greeting and warm-up (5 minutes)
- Greet the students and ask them how they are doing.
- Review vocabulary from the previous lesson related to the weather.
2. Vocabulary introduction (10 minutes)
- Show flashcards with pictures of pollution (air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution) and environmental actions (recycling, planting trees, conserving water).
- Teach the vocabulary words and have students repeat after you. - Practice pronunciation of the words as a class.
3. Discussion (15 minutes)
- Show pictures of pollution and ask students to describe what they see.
- Discuss the effects of pollution on the environment, animals, and people.
