向老师请假英语作文
Dear Mr. Johnson
I am writing to request your permission to be excused from classes for the next three days. I have a family emergency that requires my immediate attention and I need to travel out of town to assist my ailing grandmother.
My grandmother lives several hours away and I need to leave as soon as possible to be with her. She has been hospitalized due to complications from a recent surgery and the doctors have informed my family that her condition is quite serious. I feel it is important that I be there to support her and my family during this difficult time.
I understand that missing three days of classes is a significant amount of time and I want to assure you that I will do everything in my power to make up any work that I miss. I am committed to ensuring that I do not fall behind in my studies and will work closely with my classmates to get notes for the lectures I will miss. I will also schedule meetings with you and my other professors to discuss how
I can best make up any assignments, quizzes or tests that occur during my absence.
Missing classes is never something I take lightly, as I am fully committed to my studies and maintaining a strong academic record. However, in this case, I feel that supporting my grandmother and family during this medical emergency must take priority. I hope you can understand the difficult situation I am in and grant me permission to be excused from classes for the next three days.
I am happy to provide any additional information or documentation you may require regarding my grandmother's condition and the necessity of my travel. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to assist in facilitating my absence.
I appreciate your consideration of my request and look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your understanding during this challenging time.
Sincerely
John Smith。
