① Watch a video China’s Got Talent and answer the questions.

While-reading
1.Ask the students to read the passage quickly and find out which three talent shows are
mentioned? ( American Idol/ America’s Got Talent/ China’s Got Talent)
2.Read the passage carefully and answer the questions.
a.What do talent shows have in common?
b.Who decides the winner?
c.Why do some people not like these shows?
d.Why do some people like these shows?
(这两个步骤的设计很好地考查了学生获取信息的能力)
3.Read the passage again and ask the students to underline the superlatives.
