Unit 1 My Classroom A Let’s Spell
I. Objectives
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
1.Identify and spell classroom words in English.
e the words learned to describe their own classroom.
3.Develop their spelling skills in English.
II. Materials
•Whiteboard and markers
•Flashcards with classroom objects (desk, chair, whiteboard, etc.)•Worksheets for spelling practice
III. Procedure
Warm-Up (5 minutes)
1.Greet the students and get them excited for the lesson by showing them the flashcards of classroom objects.
2.Have the students repeat the names of the objects after you.
Presentation (15 minutes)
1.Show the students a picture of a classroom on the whiteboard and ask them to identify the objects they see.
2.Write the words on the board as the students say them.
3.Say each word slowly and have the students repeat after you.

Practice (20 minutes)
1.Divide the students into pairs or small groups.
2.Give each group a worksheet with the spellings of the classroom words mixed up.
3.Have the students work together to unscramble the words and write them on the worksheet correctly.
4.Monitor the students and provide assistance as needed.
Production (15 minutes)
1.Ask the students to use the words they have learned to describe their own classroom.
2.Have them work in pairs or small groups to create a list of objects in their classroom and write sentences describing them.
3.Ask each group to share their work with the class.
Review (5 minutes)
1.Review the words learned during the lesson.
2.Ask the students to spell the words again.
3.Provide positive feedback and praise for their efforts.
IV. Assessment
The students’ understanding and spelling of the classroom words will be assessed during the practice and production activities. The teacher can also observe the students’ participation and engagement during the lesson.
V. Homework
The students will be asked to create a picture or a video of their classroom and label the objects using the words they learned in class. They can share their work with the class during the next lesson.。
