教学设计Unit 2 My favorite subject is science.Section A一.教材分析Unit 2 以“School subject”为话题,选材于学生的日常生活,十分符合学生实际。

初一年级的学生开始学习各种科目:语文、数学、英语、生物、历史、地理、美术、音乐等。

学习生活有了紧凑的安排,每天的课程都排得满满的。

他们也一定会有自己喜欢的科目,有自己的学习计划。

通过讨论学习,能够提高他们的学习兴趣,进行合理的学习安排。

本单元的主题图呈现的是两名学生在学校走廊里对话的场景,图中呈现了各个学科上课的场面。

1a-1c通过图文及听力活动导入单元话题,是整个Section A的基础。

这部分要求学生掌握各学科的英语名称P.E.,art, science, music, math, Chinese, geography, history等,并学会使用重点句型What is your favorite subject? My favorite subject is…, 1a 主要呈现话题词汇和基本句型,1b通过听力练习加深学生对本单元重点句型和词汇的认知,1c则要求学生练习实际情况进行问答活动,完成简单的语言输出。

2a-2d以听说活动的方式巩固和拓展了本单元学习内容。

2a-2c除了谈论自己最喜欢的科目之外,还呈现了用Why do you like…?追问原因以及用Because…说明原因的句式,并要求学生掌握描述学科特点的形容词。

2d把话题内容从对学科的偏爱拓展到喜欢的日期和教师,还综合了以前学过的句型How about you?等,使得语言信息更加丰富,语境也更加真实。

2d是Section A 的难点,既有对以前学过句型的整合,又有新词汇“星期几”的输入。

Section A 部分的教学难点是生词,并且学科名称和星期名称等单词音节较多、发音较难,需要学生反复练习、巩固。

二.学情分析本次授课对象为济宁十二中初一、四班学生。

Unit 2 What’s your favorite subject?一、词句1.What's your /his/her favorite subject?My/His/Her favorite subject is science.解析:favorite形容词,“最喜欢的;最喜爱的”,相当于like...best,因此,上句可与what subject do you like best? 相互转换。

Sunday is our favorite day. = We like Sunday best.2.Because it's fun.解析:1)because,连词“因为”,后面跟从句,陈述原因或理由,回答why提出的问句。

--Why isn't Li Ping here? --Because she is ill.2)注意:because引导原因状语从句,在汉语中,我们常说因为......所以......,但是在英语中,因为和所以只能用其一。

即在同一个句子中,because和so不能同时使用,用because就不能用so,用so 就不能用because。

3)have fun doing ..., 表示“做......很愉快”We have fun learning English.3. I am very busy on Friday.解析,on Friday,“在星期五”。

On 常表示在星期几或具体某一日或某一日的上午、下午、或晚上的名词前。

年月周前要用in, 但当星期名称前有this, that, next, last等词修饰时,其前不能再用介词on。
