One of his biggest projects was the start of construction on the Great Wall of China to protect against invasions. Qin Shi Huang was harsh at times, but his unification of China was an incredible achievement that changed the country forever.Next, let me tell you about Han Xin. He was a brilliant military strategist and general who lived around 200 BC during the Han Dynasty. Despite being born poor, Han Xin studied military strategy and tactics and became an expert. He led armies for the Han emperor and defeated the rich Xiang Yu and his forces, helping to establish the Han Dynasty as the new rulers. Han Xin came up with innovative strategies like the famous "Vertical Battlefield Formation" that confused and trapped his enemies. He worked his way up from poverty to become one of the greatest generals in Chinese history through his intelligence and skills.I also really admire Zheng He, the famous Chinese explorer from the 1400s. Zheng He led a huge fleet of ships on seven epic voyages across the oceans for the Ming emperor. His largest ships were gigantic, over 400 feet long! On their voyages, Zheng He's fleet traveled all the way to the east coast of Africa, bringing silk, porcelain, and other goods while spreading Chinese culture and power. When they returned, they brought back valuable items and animals that were new to China like zebras and giraffes. Zheng He was skilled at both naval warfare and maritime trade. His voyages showed the might of Ming China's naval capabilities.Lastly, I'll talk about Hua Mulan, the legendary woman warrior. According to the ancient tales and poems, Hua Mulan disguised herself as a man to take her elderly father's spot in the army. She fought bravely for 12 years and became a skilled warrior and leader before revealing she was actually a woman when she returned home. Hua Mulan stood for courage, filial piety, and women's strength. Her story has been retold and celebrated across China and the world for centuries, inspiring young girls to be just as capable as boys.Those are some of the incredible Chinese historical heroes I find most interesting and inspiring. Some Ideas About The Wild China
After watching the BBC documentary---Wild China,I learned a lot from it.Not only the Chinese magnificent scenes,but also many things about our country---a country with a long history and splendid culture.
From the movie we can acquire many knowledge about the use of English such as vocabulary,delicate sentence and the way to write a pure English passage.First,about the vocabulary,there are many words which I learned from these documentaries such as abrasive , venomous, ordain, resilient and so on,I suppose I still have difficulty in using words in a right way,so these words can help me to write native English.
About grammar,I deem the sentences in the movies are more simple, they use some concise sentences to describe something, but not to pile up a large number of words.They use words precisely so they can have an elegant sentence,those adjectives and adverbs are really fit for these descriptions. So there are many succinct sentences in the movie.but we always use some complicated sentences in our passage because we don't have many words to apply,so what we should do is widen our vocabulary and practice.
About the film's maker's attitude.I consider that in these movies,the film's maker's viewpoint was objective,there were both admiration and worry in the movie.it showed us many beautiful scenes around the China, but it also reflected some problems.Some animals in our country are
almost extinct and the environment is not well,we need to enhance our administration and put out some regulations.So about protecting the environment,we still have a long way to go.。
