The modern society is a competitive and cooperative society, so modern talents should not only have the sense of competition but also the sense of cooperation. We not only need to maintain independent consciousness, self-improvement and self-reliance. At the same time,we must have the collective spirit and team petition requires cooperation, and cooperation to promote competition.4.Nowadays, taking part-time jobs has become a part of the college students' life. Firstly, I think schools should try their best to make science appealing and make courses not introduce more new vocabulary than foreign language courses.Secondly, parents should share their children’s curiosity, such as listening to their questions, telling stories not reciting facts and giving children time to think and so on.Finally, children start out as natural scientists, instinctively eager to investigate the world around them.6.“ Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” What do you think of the famous saying?Well, different parents have different ideas on their children’s education. Many parents might think their children need better educations to compete with their peers. S o they impose parents’ power on their children, make their kids obedient and manipulate ki d’s life. Some other parents may treat their kids softly and tenderly, they give their kids more independence, and not set many other rules for them and did not object to regular social activities. In my opinion, respect should be the core of family education.Confidence , kindness, honesty and independence are the most qualities to develop in a child. No matter which parenting style our parents choose, they just selflessly无私的express their high expectations of their children’s abilities.7.Why does the author use “How come?” instead of “Why” in her classroom? As we all know, most children are accustomed to hearing why when their behavior is criticized, such as why is your bedroom so messy? When adults use the word why to ask children something, children will feel they may do something wrong even though they did nothing. This will make children feel stressful when they answer adults’ questions, so how come is better than why when ask children’ questions.8.Have you noticed the recent educational reform? English examination is less important than before, do you have any comments?Although English examination is less important than before, it is undeniable that English is functional and beneficial and we can not ignore its humanity too. 武汉理工英语口语考试模拟题
1. Conventional wisdom holds that traditional methods like lecturing and memorization are old-fashioned while projects and collaborati ve learning are applauded. What’s your view?I think each has its own advantages and disadvantages. On one hand, Traditional methods like lecturing and memorization are irreplaceable. In thousands of years of cultural heritage in China, teaching and memory have always been the main way. When we are learning basic knowledge and theoretical knowledge, such as chemistry, physics and so on, we need teachers to teach and explain. We need to communicate with teachers to understand the knowledge. At the same time, we need do a lot of training and memory to better apply knowledge. On the other hand, project and cooperative learning are popular in recent days. This is enough to show that it does have some advantages. This way enables people to make the best of everything and give full play to their advantages. It can also effectively learn the strengths of others and improve their own shortcomings faster and better. At the same time, when students have acquired a certain knowledge, Projects and collaborative learning are good ways to combine theory and practice and achieve a deeper level of learning. From what has been discussed above, we should not abandon the advantages of the past learning methods. Only by combining the advantages of the new era learning methods with those of the past can we better adapt to the pace of modern learning.2. Teachers are suggested not to be concerned about the negative effects of picking winners and losers. Do you think that failure will traumatize students, sapping them of self-esteem?I think this situation varies from person to person. Failure for a strong-willed person will motivate him to move on, while failure for a weak-willed person may hurt his self-esteem. But anyway, I think life without failure is imperfect life, and people can become more mature only through failure. For teachers, negative effects should be avoided as much as possible. After all, it is impossible to know the attitude of all students towards difficulties. Some students who sap self-esteem will lose interest in learning. But some students can do better. From what has been discussed above,it can be seen that self-esteem is the source of student's enterprising power, so educators love students and protect students. Self-esteem is especially important to cultivate students' self-esteem. Teachers should change their teaching ways to different students. Only in this way can benefit the greatest number of students.3. The American Urban Dictionary, a popular online slang dictionary, includes several Chinese buzzwords, such as no zuo no die. Some people think it is a major victory for Chinglish speakers. Do you agree?I agree with this point. With the development of China, China's economic and cultural strength is gettingstronger and stronger, so that foreign scholars must pay attention to our country's culture. Chinese culture has an increasing impact on a global scale. So Chinese buzzwords are included in foreign dictionary is a major victory for Chinglish speakers. At the same time, I think this phenomenon is a process of integration of world cultures. With the change of the times, the language also changes. Some Chinese can’t be explained by English well, so there will appear new English words to depict the new Chinese words. Some commonly used Chinese adding to the dictionary can better improve people's expression ability. From what has been discussed above, I believe that national culture and economic strength are linked, not isolated. The prosperity of a country's culture cannot be separated from the support of economic prosperity. Today, the economic strength of our motherland is rising, so the status of Chinese culture in the world has been improved, and Chinese language has been accepted by more people.4. Why does a good dictionary have to take special care over common words instead of rare words? Illustrate your point with examples.Because common words are used very frequently, while rare words are rarely used in life. Good dictionaries focus on common words, which can well meet the needs of users, and are more widely used in life. If a commonly used word is not found in the dictionary or is incorrectly explained, this dictionary is definitely not a good dictionary. For example, compare a rare word with a common word. Rare words are used by very few people, while common words are used by most people. The function of a dictionary is to meet the needs of the majority of users, not to be designed for the minority. Therefore, a good dictionary will definitely pay more attention to the usage of common words, meet the needs of most users, and give full play to the role of the dictionary. From what has been discussed above, because common words are used in a high frequency and used by the large number of people. So a good dictionary is more concerned with common words.5.Many countries in the world have a mature film rating system, while there is no film rating system in China mainland. Do you think film rating system has more advantages or disadvantages? Illustrate your point. From my point of view, film rating system has both advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, film rating system can effectively protect physical and mental health of teenagers. For example, children are not suggested to watch movies which include quantities of terror and violence scenes. What’s more, it is convenient for management, which can promote the development of the film industry. On the other hand, I think film rating system has more disadvantages. Everyone sees things differently. When evaluating a movie, we will carry emotional judgments. We cannot guarantee that everyone is rational. Maybe this movie is good, but I just do not like it and the rating is naturally unreal. Then the rating system isa mistake to a certain extent. From what has been discussed above, film classification has both advantages and disadvantages. When deciding whether to have a film classification, the pros and cons should be weighed.5. Some people prefer western films, thinking that they are more worth watching than Chinese films, while others like Chinese films better. What is your opinion? Illustrate your points. In my opinion, there is no comparison between Chinese films and western films. Different people have different preferences. For some people who enjoy western films, they may prefer pop culture and stunning visual effect. But for some people who likes Chinese films, they may prefer traditional culture. The film is used to communicate, is the author expresses his inner thoughts, the way to the world view. Foreign films and Chinese films may form a difference, but human nature is common. China's films also have bright spots, and foreign films also have rotten pieces. From what has been discussed above, for both western films and Chinese films, we should see their advantages and disadvantages. We should not praise one side while belittling another side.6. Some people say "If there was an experiment on Beethoven’s music, there would be the Beethoven Effect instead of the Mozart Effect. Do you believe so? Why or why not?“I think the Beethoven effect may exist, but it will not replace the Mozart effect. The music of Mozart and Beethoven has its own characteristics. Mozart's music can make the rough and hard things in our hearts soft, Beethoven's music can make the weak things in our hearts strong. But in general the influence of music on people is subtle. The "Mozart effect" refers not only to Mozart's music, but to music that has the same or similar musical structure. The Mozart effect can trigger positive emotions such as joy and pleasure, which in turn can boost cognitive processing.Beethoven music has its own characteristics, If there was an experiment on Beethoven’s music, it may also have a musical effect. Not just these two kinds of music, any kind of music can have a subtle effect on people. If we often listen to one kind of music, it will have a corresponding effect on us.7. Nowadays anyone can post information on the internet even if it is incorrect. As a result, most information we read is inaccurate." To what extent do you agree or disagree?I think some of the information we read is wrong. Since anyone can publish information on the Internet, as a result, most information we read is inaccurate. When we find the information we need, we may find some wrong information. This phenomenon is because no one verifies the correctness of these views and rejects the wrong ones. So we should have our own view when surfing the internet. We should learn to distinguish the true and falseinformation. We can use some official website to find information, so as to get the correct information. The Internet brings us a lot of convenience, but it also brings some disadvantages, such as incorrect information. I think we can do something about it. On the one hand, the government can introduce some management laws to regulate people's behavior of releasing information; On the other hand, when we act as publishers of information, we should be responsible for the content we publish and ensure its health and accuracy8. Many people have done a lot of experiments to prove that listening to music can make children smarter while many other scientific data also prove that music study does not make children smarter. It can make people wiser and strengthen people's memory. Appreciating or playing music can strengthen the function of human's mental and nervous system. Visual memory and auditory memory can get exercise, emotional experience also can be strengthened. The person that makes music for a long time, have stronger memory, and is outstanding than normal person.Listening to music is also a kind of leisure, it helps people to combine work and rest, to avoid overwork. When we are tired, listening to music can relieve our tiredness, relieve our mood and improve our enthusiasm for life. Then we can regain the confidence to face life. Being in a good mood stimulates creativity, which makes music listeners smarter9. From SIRI to self-driving cars, artificial intelligence is progressing rapidly. Will intelligent machines replace us, coexist us, or merge with us?I think AI will live with us. The rise of artificial intelligence has brought a lot of benefits to people. It has improved security and saved labor. For example: face recognition, speech recognition for people's security has played a great role; intelligent robots do heavy and dangerous work for people and so on. But artificial intelligence will not or cannot replace people, it is created by people, so it cannot surpass human beings, it will coexist with us.With the development of people's wisdom, artificial intelligence will also be further developed. It serves people's needs, obeys people's command, and will not surpass or replace people. It will make our life more convenient10 .What does self-reliance mean to you? Do you believe that it is one of the most important things a student could ever learn? What are the possible ways to build it?Self-reliance means relying on one's own strength to get things done.Whether a country or a person wants to pursue development, the most important thing is to adhere to self-reliance and independent innovation. Self-reliance can strengthen our ability to face any difficulties; Self-reliance is not only a spiritual belief, but also a path to action. Self-reliance will help us break the bottleneck of development on our way forward.Self-reliance not only lies in life, but also exists in work and study, we should set up a positive enterprising, hard-working spirit and cultivate good habits, so as to establish the ability of self-reliance.11. Grit, defined as passion and perseverance for long-term goals, is the best predictor of success. Do you agree with the statement? Illustrate your point with examples.I agree with this statement. I think that Grit is important for a person's growth and development. Grit is the foundation of achievement. Success belongs to the people who have grit. They will work to achieve their ideas according to the plan. When encountering difficulties, they never compromise. Their power does increase with the degree of obstruction. For example, our country determined to develop it’s economy. After decades of efforts, our GDP has exceeded 10 trillion dollars, making us the second largest economy, only behind the United States.Yuan longping was determined to study rice to solve China's food problem. But I like the forth principle most, which is “All for One and One for All”. It emphasizes the importance of teamwork. Teamwork is seen as a way to cultivate strong loyalty and enthusiasm among employees. It emphasizes that people should help each other and promote each other instead of focusing onself-interest. I can share the fruits of others' labor and thoughts, and I can share mine with others. We are an inseparable whole of mutual benefit. From this we can learn that it is not easy for a company to succeed, it needs the joint efforts of all the members of the company, not only need teamwork, but also need innovation and courage. The principles of the company are also key to the success of the company. It is the philosophy that every employee practices. Only with good principles can employees work hard and achieve success.13. Do you like Disney films? In Passage One Walt Disney has been criticized for its negative social influences. Do you agree with the author? Illustrate your points.Just like many other children, when I was young, I like Disney films very much. Although some authors criticize Disney's negative impact on society, I don't entirely agree with the author. Everything has two sides. There are advantages and disadvantages at the same time. We should not throw away its advantages and only criticize its disadvantages. Although Disney didn’t deal with characters in terms of gender and race, it also brings many positive ideas to children. It allows children to have fun through movies, animations and so on, it teach children to learn about the world and knowledge. It's hard for a company to have the perfect recognition and social impact, and Disney has been a breakthrough in children's entertainment. It is an indispensable part of the life of many American families. In the future, I hope it can reduce the negative impact on society and strive to do better.14. Think of two misunderstandings you experienced when communicating with someone else at work, home or school. Discuss with your partners on the following questions. What seemed to be the main cause of the misunderstandings? How can we avoid being understood in our daily communication? There are many reasons for misunderstanding. But the main reason is not to understand the details or look at the problem more one-sided. For example, during the summer vacation, I was misunderstood by my boyfriend. One evening, a male classmate called to ask me how to do a problem. I talked for a long time because the problem was difficult. Then my boyfriend got angry because he thought I was too close to my classmates. From this little example, we can see that we must learn to look at problems with a calm mind. When we calm down to understand the cause of things, we can look at things more objectively, so there will be no misunderstanding. When we are angry or angry, we need to suppress our emotions and let ourselves see things calmly. This is not only important in dealing with interpersonal relationships, but also plays an important role in dealing with difficulties. What are the benefits of using dictionaries? But there is no typical image building in Chinese animation.Secondly, In terms of color sense, Disney animation focuses on color matching, while Chinese animation has a single color.Thirdly, Disney animation pays more attention to catering to the audience's preferences than Chinese animation, which is also one of the reasons for the popularity of Disney animation.Forth, In terms of overall effect, Disney films combine digital technology with film technology in order to achieve better effects. Chinese animation uses less digital technology, and generally focuses on entertainment and education.Do you think the love in the film could still be found in today’s world? Why or why not?I think in today's life, we can’t find the love in the movies. The movie comes from life but is higher than life. Most of the love in the movie is unreal. For example, it is almost impossible for the prince to fall in love with Cinderella in reality. So I don't think we can find love in movies in today’s world.Secondly, love in the movie is a beautiful vision in people's hearts, so it is more romantic and legendary than the real love. Considering the love stories around us, whether they are lovers or husband and wife, they all have problems of large and small, and often have conflicts or quarrels. Therefore, fairy-tale love in movies cannot be found in reality. It seems that you have a deep understanding about this problem.。

And now, let’s listen wh at they would like to say. xxx ,you say first ,is that ok?B: Ok, about this topic, I really have many words to say .when I was a child, my parents take me to go to Sanya for a holiday. There is very beautiful. Delicious food, bikini girls, blue sky, and wonderful sea waves. I t’s really fantastic! Hey, xxx, I have heart that you also go there last year, what do you feel in Sanya ?C: Yeah ~~ I went to Sanya last summer vacation. I remember it was very hot that year. First of all, with the development of tourism, it can bring our country huge finance income. Tourism can have a positive effect on the environment. First of all, with the development of tourism, it can bring our country huge finance income. Secondly, we can find ecological problems in some areas so that we can take immediate measures to deal with it, such as ecological construction and pollution control. In this way, we beautify the environment.B:Yes, you are right. I think the GDP promotion and environmental protection are equally important. It is wrong to sacrifice the environment for the growth of GDP. We can’t deny that although too much tourists lead the economic development, they bring much harm to the environment.C: So we need to find a balance between GDP promotion and protection of the ecological environment by developing ecotourism. Ecotourism is defined by the International Ecotourism Society as "responsible travel to natural areas which conserves the environment and improves the welfare of the local people." Simply put, it is tourism which helps the environment and helps the local community.D: I couldn’t agree more. Ecotourism is good for the local community, provides jobs,。
