①although和though都是“尽管、虽然”的意思，有时可以互换，但是although 多放于句首，though可在句子的前、中、后。

that +从句（从句的动词分为两种情况）
第一种情况：若“insist that +从句”表示“坚决要求某人做某事”，则用insist that sb (should) do sth. 就是说，从句的谓语动词用should+动词原形，should可以省略，这种语言现象叫“虚拟语气”。

第二种情况：若“insist that +从句”表示“坚持说，坚持认为”，则that 从句的动词时态与主句保持一致。

We insist that we are right.

① once 是一个连词，意思是“一旦……就……”，
【注意】：once引导的从句常用一般现在时态（表示将来）。

Once you start, you will never give up. Once you tell lies, nobody will trust you.
②once 作为副词，意思是“从前、曾经”。

He once knew her, but they are no longer friends.
③ once还有“一次”的意思。

表示“一次”不可用once time，也不用one time。
