Group work: Make a new chant about your friends.
[教学目标] 1、语言知识与技能目标: 1)能听、说、读、写本课的主要单词和句型。 2)能在实际情景中运用句型‘He/She has …’。 3)能就“朋友”这一话题进行简单的交流。 2、情感态度目标: 1)通过有关“朋友”的教学活动,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。 2)通过小组讨论等活动培养学生的合作意识和合作技巧。 3)通过谈论朋友的活动渗透爱朋友和爱生活的情感教育。 3、文化意识目标: 通过教学本单元使学生进一步了解西方文化。
根据四年级学生的英语学习特点、知识水平和本课教学内容,我制 定了如下的教学目标,并确立了本课时的教学重难点。
[教学重点] 描述人物特征和某人拥有某物品的句型‘He/ She has …’。
[教学难点] 区别句型‘He/ She is …’和‘He/ She
has …’。
由师生互动完成,可用于导入环节。整 首chant既帮助学生复习了前两个单元 学习的表示人体部位的单词和相关形容词, 又迅速集中了学生的注意力,将他 们带入轻松的英语课堂氛围中,为今天 学习描述朋友作铺垫。

用于拓展环节的chant,节奏稍慢。通过诵 读,促使学生忆起与朋友相处的点滴;拓展语 言学习空间的同时,感悟友谊的珍贵。考虑到 儿歌的难度,创编中除了重复关键语句外,我 尽可能使用了一些发音相近的词,让chant说 起来更押韵。如:sad--happy, play--away-day

Ss: (act to be fat) Fat, fat, fat. T: Make yourself thin. Ss: (act to be thin) Thin, thin, thin.
T: Make yourself happy! Ss: Happy, happy, yeah!
Chant 2 My good friend
T: Hello, everybody. I can chant. Ss: I can chant. T: Touch your nose/ears. Ss: (point to their noses/ears) Nose, nose, nose. T:Clap your hands. Ss: (clap their hands) Hands,hands,hands. T: Open your eyes wide. Ss: (open their eyes wide) Big, big,big. T: Stretch your arms long. Ss: (stretch their arms) Long, long, long. T: Make yourself short. Ss:(sit down slowly)Short, short, short. T: Make yourself tall. Ss: (stand up slowly) Tall, tall,tall. T: Make yourself fat.
可用于新语言实践运用环节。目的是帮助学 生掌握本课重难点句型‘He/ She has …’,为后 面创造性地运用新语言铺垫。在此,学生说完 教师提供的儿歌文本后,可根据教师提供的支 撑语句,在小组内运用chant描述朋友。这给 本课的语言教学掀起高潮。学生在运用语言的 同时,可产生一种积极的心理体验,避免了单 纯传授语言知识的枯燥乏味。
