Unit 7 What’s the highest mountain in the world?一.指导思想及理论基础以教师为主导,学生为主体,以高效课堂模式为主要形式的上课模式。

培养学生积极面对问题,思考问题,寻求各种方法解决问题的能力。

学生能够自主式,合作式和探究式地学习。

培养学生的实践能力和自主创新能力。

以培养学生对英语产生更浓厚的兴趣为起点,以夯实学生的英语基础为目的,以拓宽学生的视野为终点进行教学。

二.学情分析我所教的学生为农村中学初二学生,总体英语基础薄弱,对英语学习兴趣不甚浓厚。

处在初二下半学期的他们马上面临升初三,所以我的教学主要以“学新链旧”为主,学习新知识的同时复习相关旧知识,将知识归纳链接起来。

通过图片展示,角色扮演等有趣方式充分调动学生的积极性。

课堂模式采取任务型和合作交流型。

兼及英语的听,说,读,写等各方面能力。

使学生英语学习的综合素质能够得以提升。

三.教材分析通过本单元的学习,学生能够使用形容词,副词的原级,比较级,最高级谈论生活中的事物,认识自然与世界。

拓宽学生的知识面,激发学生的学习兴趣。

四.教学内容本单元为新目标人教版八年级英语下册第七单元,本节课为第一课时。

主要内容是通过学习形容词,副词的原级,比较级,最高级来认识自然与世界。

围绕这个课题,我的教学以四个部分展开:1.Revision.(思说)首先对上节课的重点词汇及短语以问答方式进行简要回顾。

再次复习本节课相关内容,即形容词,副词的原级与比较级。

2.New learning(学说)通过复习,学生的知识链初具雏形。

再进行新知识——形容词,副词最高级的学习。

利用实物及多媒体图片的展示,让学生感受原级,比较级与最高级。

3.练习巩固(会说)由词到句拓宽学习。

利用多媒体给学生展示分别用形容词,副词原级,比较级,最高级如何造句。

让学生先仿句,再造句。

4.Listening (听说)通过图片展示世界之最。

简介图片,引起学生的兴趣。

较大数字的英语表达。

数词和形容词副词的比较级最高级都属于课程标准附录2 语法项目表中所规定的重点语法。

2. 教材分析Section A 部分主要围绕地理知识展开,集中呈现了大数字的读法和表示度量的结构,并进一步拓展了比较级和最高级的使用。

教学重点是学习较大数字的表达,学会用不同句式表达比较级、最高级。

本部分的教学难点是形容词比较级、最高级的不同表达形式。

Section B在Section A的基础上,通过对自然和文化的比较过渡到了动物这一话题。

Section B部分的重点是在阅读中运用寻读策略,教学难点是说明文的写作。

3. 学情分析本单元重点是了解世界知识,谈论地理与自然,很自然的与形容词和副词的比较级以及最高级结合运用,八年级上册已经学过了比较级和最高级,学生能对这一部分内容正确运用,这一单元要求学生运用不同形式来表达比较级和最高级,难度不是很大。

较大数字的读与听在听力测试中较多出现,会说能听懂是基本要求。

目标1通过听力练习,能准确提取听力材料中使用形容词最高级的表达法。

2通过角色扮演,能结合自身实际编写对话并能以正确的语音语调运用形容词比较级和最高级谈论地理和自然。
