2020大学英语三级考试简介2020大学英语三级考试简介：高等学校英语应用水平考试（PRETCO）简称英语AB级考试。
高等学校英语应用水平考试是为反映和评价高等学校专科层次（高等专科教育、高等职业技术教育、成人高等专科教育）修完英语课程的在校生英语应用水平而设立的标准化英语水平考试。
相当于1998年以前举办的“高校专科英语二级考试”或“高校专科英语三级考试”。
高等学校英语应用水平考试分A、B两级，A级考试为高职高专学生应该达到的标准要求，B级考试略低于A级考试，是过渡性的要求。
原“大学英语三级考试”相当于“高等学校英语应用水平A级考试”，原“大学英语二级考试”相当于“高等学校英语应用水平B级考试”。
参加“高等学校英语应用水平考试”取得60分以上（含60分）为考试成绩合格，颁发有“高等学校英语应用水平考试委员会”印章的合格证书。
凡已设置了“高等学校英语应用水平考试”考点的学校，均可组织本校具有报名资格的学生报名参加高等学校英语应用水平考试。
未设置高等学校英语应用水平考试考点的高等学校，须向省教育厅高等教育处和省高等学校英语应用水平考试中心申请设置“高等学校英语应用水平考试”考点，经审核批准后，方可按规定组织本校具有报名资格的学生参加高等学校英语应用水平考试。
高等学校英语应用水平考试每年举行两次，上半年一般在6月下旬举行，下半年一般在12月下旬或下一年度的元月上旬举行。
考试报名资格一、参加高等学校英语应用水平考试的考生，必须是专科层次（即普通高等专科教育、高等职业技术教育、成人高等教育）修完英语课程的在校生。
二、凡参加高等学校英语应用水平考试A级或B级合格者，不允许再参加高等学校英语应用水平考试A级或B级考试。
但参加过高等学校英语应用水平考试A级或B级考试未合格者，能够再次报名参加考试。
分数计算方法：本考试按百分制计分，满分为100分。
60分及60分以上为及格；85分及85分以上为优秀。
考试成绩合格者发给“高等学校英语应用水平考试”相对应级别的合格证书。
