Lesson Plan----Unit 5 Further Reading Part 1: Text analysisThe title of this reading passage is How to be confident. I’d like to analyze this passage from three aspects: language points, reading strategies and the meaning of this passage. First, in this passage, there are a lot of language points for students to learn. After all, reading is the best context for students to learn vocabulary, grammar and so on. Second, in this passage, it has a very clear structure, so the reading strategy----scanning can be easily trained. Third, this passage is also a way for students to get the meaning of the passage, to have a deep communication with the author.
