三、放松心情、凝聚心智小学生普遍自制能力较差,有意注意的时间不持久,那漫长的四十分钟对他们来说是一种煎熬,作为课堂教学的主导者,有责任、有义务帮助他们饶有兴趣地、平安地度过这四十分钟,变无意注意为有意注意,重新把学生的注意力凝聚起来。

Healthy for me .然后试着让孩子们合着节拍,跟着吟诵,由于这首歌谣节奏明快,说的又是与孩子们日常生活息息相关的事物,很对孩子们的胃口,孩子们情绪高涨,兴致渐浓,因此没花费太长的时间,他们便对本部分的单词及句型有了一个比较明确的印象,部分聪明的学生,已经能准确地读出这几个单词来,特别是healthy 这一单词,对学生们来说,确实有着一定的难度,但就是通过这么一听、一唱,有学生还真就掌握了,大大出乎我的意外。

笔者认为,对于那些难度特别大、特别枯燥的教学新内容,更应该发挥歌曲歌谣的魅力。

例如:小学英语五年级下册Unit Three A Let’s learn, 这一部分里包括从January 到December总共12个表示月份的单词,如果没有本单元Let’s chant 的铺垫,就直接进入单词的教学,我想效果肯定不佳,这时我们的最好的选择就是播放本单元的歌谣,让学生全面感知新的语言材料,让歌谣来激发学生想学的冲动,从而达到事半功倍的效果。

现行的教材,给我们的教学提供了极大的便利,作为一个智慧型的教师,应该因势利导,利用已有的教学资源,加以创造性地吸收、利用,服务于我们的教学。

五、强化操练、巩固内化英语单词就像是盖房子用的诸如砖瓦之类的建筑材料,没有材料盖房子就无从谈起,同样地没有足够的单词就不能有效地进行听、说、读、写等活动,就无法表达思想,交流感情。

不难看出:小学阶段英语单词的学习非常重要、非常关键,对我们的语言学习起着决定性的作用,但由于小学生因为初学英语,对单词的记忆缺乏方法的指导,英语单词几乎成了他们学习英语道路上的一只拦路虎,把英语这门“必修课”当成了“逼修课”,这就是现如今小学英语教师们遭遇到的一种尴尬。

为了摆脱这一困境,我们的英语老师们可真是绞尽脑汁,下足了功夫、费尽了心机,尝试过很多方法,也收到了不错的效果,但我这里想说的是英语歌曲歌谣其实也是一种不错的选择,是医治这一玩疾的一剂良方。

例如小学六年级上册第五单元,在这一单元里,主要的单词有:singer , writer, TV reporter, actor, actress, artist , engineer , accountant, policeman, salesperson, cleaner 。

不难看出,这一单元里,单词量太大而且太难,这时我们就应该发挥这一单元里的歌曲及歌谣的魅力了,利用歌曲歌谣刺激他们的大脑兴奋点,采取旧谱换新词的方式,把《My Family》里歌词替换成本单元的新单词,并配以手势动作,反复吟唱。

也可以用自编歌谣的方式:What does he do ? what does he do ?He’s a singer. A singer ,a singer .What does she do ? what does she do ?She’s an actress. An a ctress ,an actress.……………………………….因为是说唱,学生也就没有心理负担,轻装上阵,反而收到意想不到的效果,那么难记、那么生偏的单词居然在孩子们的唱一唱、玩一玩中巩固内化了,变成了他们自己的东西。

乌申斯基说得好:一般来说,儿童是依靠形式、颜色、声音和感觉来进行思维的。

由此看来;声音可以促使记忆的产生。

因此我们应该利用歌曲歌谣来强化单词句型的记忆,特别是孩子们产生厌烦情绪时。

六、启迪思维、引导创新“培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象力和创新精神”是基础阶段英语课程的任务之一。

在小学英语教学中,应注意多角度、多方位发展学生的思维,调动学生多感官地参与英语语言实践活动,让学生不断地获得新知,不断地去创造、去探索,以培养学生的创新思维,培养创新能力。

现行的英语教材,为我们提供了大量的歌曲歌谣方面的素材,我们应该利用好这些素材,使它们的作用发挥到极致,最大限度地服务于我们的教学,使我们的教学发挥出最大的效益。

但我们切不可拘泥于教材,而应该创造性地吸收,让孩子们在说唱歌曲歌谣的过程中放飞思维的翅膀,发挥小组合作的优势,创编出新的歌谣,以期培养孩子们的创新精神。

在多年的教学生涯中,我除了教唱学生书本上的歌曲歌谣外,还会不失时机地引导学生自己编写歌谣,令人欣慰的是,在日复一日,年复一年的训练中,孩子们的思维能力、创新能力都得到很大程度的提升。

下面是我在任教小学五年级英语下册Unit Six A Let’s learn 时,学生们合作创作的二首歌谣:歌谣(一)What are they doing ? What are they doing ?They’re catching,catching butterflies.What are they doing ?
