“外研社杯”英语演讲比赛演讲稿Ladies and gentlemen,Today, I stand before you to talk about the power of dreams. Throughout history, dreams have fueled the greatest achievements in human civilization. Dreams inspire us to reach new heights, to overcome obstacles, and to make the impossible possible. As a child, I dreamt of becoming a successful businessman. I pictured myself in a corner office, making important decisions that would shape the future of my industry. This dream motivated me to work hard in school, to pursue a degree in business, and to strive for excellence in everything I did.But as I grew older, I began to realize that dreams are not just about personal success. Dreams have the power to change the world. Look at the great leaders of our time – Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Malala Yousafzai – they all had dreams that went beyond their personal aspirations.Martin Luther King dreamt of a world where everyone would be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. Nelson Mandela dreamt of a South Africa where all races would live together in harmony. And Malala Yousafzai dreamt of a world where every girl would have the right to an education. These extraordinary individuals had the courage to pursue their dreams, even in the face of immense challenges. They inspired millions of people around the world to stand up for what they believe in and to fight for a better future. But dreams are not just for the extraordinary few. Each and every one of us has the power to dream and the ability to make our dreams a reality. It starts with believing in ourselves and embracing our unique talents and abilities. It is about setting goals, working hard, and persevering in the face of adversity. The journey towards achieving our dreams may not always be easy. There will be setbacks and obstacles along the way. But it is these challenges that make the achievement of our dreams so much more rewarding. As Thomas Edison once said, \。

外研社英语演讲比赛演讲稿

外研社英语演讲比赛演讲稿

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. My topic today is “Environment is my top concern”. When talking about Environment, what’s the first thing that has come to your mind? Is it the Copenhagen climate change conference, or the Gulf Oil Spill, or the leak of toxic sludge in Hungary? Different people may have different answers.Let’s check out how serious the environmental situation is in the world. Recent years have seen an increasing number of reports on the extinction of species, soil erosion as well as air pollution. Thehistory of industrialization and urbanization has been a history of declining environmental quality. We may be satisfied with our so called modern life, but please do not turn a blind eye to what’s happened around us. Water is polluted. Animals are killed. Resources are devoured. And farmlands turn into desserts.Ladies and gentlemen, this is the world we now live in. It’snot a wonderland. It’s not a safe haven. It’s a planet damaged by human beings and the situation is getting even worse. We need to change. We need to do something about it. We need to shoulder our responsibility. Otherwise, the end of world may come just as the film 2012 showed us. Now is the moment; Now is the time; Now is the only chance we can haveto save our world. Then you may ask “what can we do”? I have listed three answers to this question for all of you. Firstly, the governments should take a leading role in publicizing knowledge and raising people’s awareness. They are supposed to use economic and administrative leverage to monitor and regulate the environmental protection. Secondly, companies should raise their ability of independent innovation. They should encourage scientific and technological advances, and use new methods to reduce wastes and pollution. And thirdly, we people, as individuals, must take some actions. We should keep firmly in mind that every enormous change starts from the very first step.Ladies and gentlemen, the earth is in our hands. Save it, or destroy it, it’s our c hoice. Our efforts will be powerful enough tosave the world. If everyone, including you and me, is engaged in this world-saving project, environment will never ever be my top concern.Good morning/afternoon, ladies and gentlemen:The Restriction to Creativity Is My Top ConcernHave you ever wondered how many plastic bags our nation uses a day? Would you believe it if I said that total could fill an entire three-story building? Yes, sadly that’s right. In China, more than 20 billion p lastic bags are consumed everyday, making our country’splastic pollution unbearable. Nowadays, plastics have been considered as the worst invention the 20th century while back in the 1890s it was regarded as a groundbreaking creation. From the case of plastic bags, we can see that creativity should be guided, cultivated and well adapted. From steam engines to space ships, from abacus to computers, each major invention brought human beings into a new era, providing us with comforts and fortune. But when pulled away from the spotlight, we can realize that creativity has also brought us into the shadows of environmental pollution, nuclear wars, and unethical scientific experiments. Shouldn’t industrial creativity be restricted to save the Amazon forests? Sho uldn’t military creativity be constrained to avoid nuclear Genocide? And would it be better if scientific creativity were supervised to save us the trouble figuring out whether a cloned human should call its genetic provider daddy or what?In the mean time, the power to dream also has a major impact on social ethos. There’s no denying that anti-racism, human rights and what gave me the chance to stand here today—women’s liberation have engaged us into a more civilized world. However, that does not mean social ideas do not have the power to produce alarming effects. During the WWII racial ideology resulted in the massacre of 6 million Jews and in China, our population policies before the 1980s gave us more than 500 million people in just 30 years, putting heavy burden on both the environment and economy. From all these examples above, we can conclude that what creativity can offer us should be a concern. So, today when everyone is stressing the importance of bringing creativity into our lives, I stress on putting restriction on creativity. Because with no restriction, there’s no order! Therefore, ladies and gentlemen, let us have a littlerestriction to creativity and it will benefit us and the generations to come!外研社英语演讲比赛演讲稿篇3Honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen:Today my topic is ’Nuclear power: a blessing or a disaster?’When the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, the world was thrust into atomic age. Meanwhile in the commence of cold war and during its long term, it had set the world into fear and panic of nuclear war many times. But over the years, nuclear power has found its way to promote goodness for humankind .It promises to provide clean and efficient energy for the centuries to come.So whether nuclear power a blessing or a disaster? There is no firm answer for this question from my own perspective.Ladies and gentlemen, my very initial contact with nuclear power was from a TV programme called Green Space where I saw for the first time how nuclear power had chang ed people’s lives and what it had left for the residents’ living around Chyrnobil nuclear power plant. Unfortunately, It was a sad story. My heart sank when I saw a boy infant appear on the screen smiling with big blue sparkling eyes. He was so cute and adorable just like all the other kids but he was blinded. What’s more, he had to receive medical treatment everyday to alleviate radiation damage, but still stood little chance of growing up. Later I learned that inappropriate operation and equipment design defect was responsible for the tradegy .Eight years has past, but the picture of that boy’s smile still appears infront of me and reminds me that nuclear power can be a living devil. However, with the increasing depletion of resources and the instant demand for energy, clean and efficient nuclear power may seem the best choice. As an old saying goes ’Every sword has two blades.’ Nuclear power is dangerous, yet efficient; environmental devastated yet clean; expensive yet sustainable. It is a matter of how we use and how we treat it. While let’s beyond all this ,whether nuclear power a blessing or a disaster, it’s ours’ choice.Thank you for listening!。

研究生英语学术演讲稿范文

研究生英语学术演讲稿范文Ladies and gentlemen, good morning. It is my great honor to stand here and share my research with you today. The topic of my presentation is the impact of artificial intelligence on the future of work.As we all know, artificial intelligence, or AI, has been developing rapidly in recent years, and its impact on the job market has become a hot topic of discussion. Many people are concerned that AI will replace human workers, leading to widespread unemployment. However, I believe that the situation is not so pessimistic.Firstly, AI has the potential to create new job opportunities. While it is true that some jobs may be automated, AI also has the potential to create new industries and professions. For example, the development of AI technology will require a large number of engineers, programmers, and data analysts. In addition, AI can also be used to improve efficiency and productivity in existing industries, creating new demand for skilled workers.Secondly, AI can complement human workers and improve the quality of work. Rather than replacing human workers, AI can be used to assist them in their jobs. For example, AI can be used to analyze large amounts of data and provide valuable insights, allowing human workers to make better-informed decisions. In addition, AI can be used to automate routine tasks, allowing human workers to focus on more creative and complex aspects of their work.Thirdly, the impact of AI on the job market will depend on how it is implemented and regulated. It is important for policymakers and industry leaders to consider the potential impact of AI on the job market and take steps to ensure that the benefits of AI are shared equitably. This may involve implementing training programs to help workers acquire the skills needed to work alongside AI, as well as implementing regulations to ensure that AI is used in a way that benefits society as a whole. In conclusion, while the development of AI will undoubtedly have a significant impact on the job market, I believe that it is not a cause for alarm. By taking a proactiveapproach to the implementation and regulation of AI, we can ensure that it creates more opportunities than challenges for the future of work. Thank you for your attention.。

研究生英语演讲稿

研究生英语演讲稿Dear professors, fellow students, and distinguished guests,。

It is my great honor to stand here today and share with you my thoughts on the topic of "The Importance of English Proficiency for Graduate Students". As we all know, English has become the most widely used language in the world, and proficiency in English is essential for academic and professional success, especially for graduate students.First and foremost, English proficiency is crucial for graduate students in terms of academic communication and research. In today's globalized academic community, it is essential for graduate students to be able to effectively communicate their research findings and ideas with scholars from different countries. English proficiency enables us to read and understand the latest academic publications, participate in international conferences, and collaborate with researchers from around the world. Without a good command of English, graduate students may find it difficult to keep up with the latest developments in their field and to establish themselves as competitive scholars.Furthermore, English proficiency is also important for graduate students in terms of career development. In many fields, the ability to publish research papers and present at international conferences is a key factor in securing academic positions and research funding. Moreover, in an increasingly interconnected world, many companies and organizations require employees who can communicate effectively in English in order to work with international partners and clients. Therefore, graduate students who are proficient in English will have a significant advantage in the job market, both in academia and in industry. In addition, English proficiency is not only about academic and career success, but also about personal growth and cultural exchange. By learning English, graduate students have the opportunity to access a wealth of knowledge and literature from different cultures, and to engage in cross-cultural dialogue and understanding. This not onlyenriches our intellectual lives, but also promotes mutual respect and cooperation among people of different backgrounds. In conclusion, English proficiency is of paramount importance for graduate students. It is not only a practical skill for academic and career success, but also a gateway to personal and cultural enrichment. As graduate students, we should take every opportunity to improve our English proficiency, whether through formal language courses, self-study, or immersion experiences. By doing so, we can enhance our academic and professional prospects, broaden our horizons, and contribute to the global community.Thank you for your attention.。

研究生英语演讲稿5篇研究生英语演讲稿(篇1)choice and processgood morning, ladies and gentlemen:my topic is about choice and process today. a research shows that a man has to make 73 choices one so many choices one day, people easily get so confused and afraid of making wrong choice that they hesitate and finally miss the true part of life. in my opinion, the following part is of much more importance than the choice. there is no absolute right or wrong choice but wonderful or boring life, which the process makes the difference.life is a box of chocolate never know what you will get.forrest gump made no decision by and for himself ,but he accomplished great success with his strong will in the process. the process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings ,the caution, courage and persistance we have as we encounter new experience and unexpected obstacles. take myself as an example,i changed my major when ibecame a postgraduate. after the choice, days have been harsh for me . i cannot understand the new lessons at all. for they areclosely related to mathmatics which i learned nothingabout before. however the belief that this is thegreat chance for me to experience new ideas and challenge myself, i persisted. i asked for help from every channel and reorganized my ually i could understand some parts and even found that maths interesting, i learned to act instead of complaining. in retrospect, the choice left no trace in my mind but the happiness and bitterness of the past four months becomes an unforgetable experience in my life.no matter what the choice is, enjoy the process. inthe process, your potential will be inspired and new discoveries ,improvement and progress will come to you. these are the most beautiful sceneries and only on the way can you see it. these make your life colorful.there is no need and i don’t want to judge whether it right or wrong for me to be here. but i congratulateto myself for i gain and enjoy this fantastic experience. so my dear friends ,never worry about your choice and enjoy the process .i am sure you will get something new and interestingafter you chose to come here. thank you!研究生英语演讲稿(篇2)Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, my name is Zhang Botao, I am from Shaanxi University of Science & Technology. When I stand here to deliver my speech, I’m a little worried about my cell phone and also yours. I’mafraid that one of them may suddenly ring loudly sothat my fascinating speech will probably beinterrupted by SIMENS, NOKIA, MOTOROLA or PANDA. And this is just one possible result caused by economic globalization. No matter if you admit it or not, weare now all in a global village and economic globalization is here to stay.Nowadays, economic globalization is being referred to more and more. I don’t know who first invented the word, but undoubtedly, it is steadily and inexorably becoming more and more common and important. It covers our world so quickly, just like influenza. As Charles Darwin noted: Survival of the fittest. In order to adapt to this great and global reform, I think, there must be something important and urgent we need to do, for every nation, every corporation, and even to every person.First, take me for an example. Just ten years ago, I did not know what a computer was, let alone what itcan do. But since 20__, I cannot live without my computer, just like I can’t live without my cell phone! Of course, these great changes are derived from economic globalization, and the rapid development of China. For every Chinese man like me, these rapid changes mean great challenge: Because of economic globalization, many new technologies rushed into China without translation; Because of economic globalization, many unknown software appeared on our desks; And, because of the economic globalization, we must hasten our rhythm of living, working and even resting. The speed of the development of China has beentremendously accelerated, so if we don’t want to be elapsed from this great tidal wave of development, we must understand the meaning of this phrase very clearly: One is never too old to learn.Second, to an enterprise in China, it also means a problem concerning survival. Our entrance to WTO has paved the way for many super universal corporations to enter the economic market of China. This means the competition in our domestic market will be much more brutal than ever before. If our state enterprises and other companies don’t adjust to this global reform and get used to the more and more cruel competition, surely they will be elapsed in thisblood-red economic battle. If you want your company to stand up at last, I think the most important thing for you to do is that, “Firm your confidence and welcome the great coming challenge.”Third, as globalization is gradually knitting separate national economies into a single one, if one nation would like to stand up and develop during these global changes, it must effectively carry out some economical and political reforms. For example, reducing the tax to attract more international organizations to invest in our country, or do some political reforms, to cater for some important international organizations. Maintaining an average 8% economic increase rate per year needs not only effective and promising economic policy, but also the prudent leadership.Economic globalization brings us not only a great challenge, but also a great chance to develop. It brings us a great potential of international corporations and makes them take roots and develop in China. And this will create new job opportunities for our huge labor market. If we can strengthen ourselves and take the chance, I promise, China’s development will be hastened greatly, and China will become the leader of economic globalization of the world!by botao研究生英语演讲稿(篇3)my backgroundi was born in a small village of shan dong province on april 4th, 1968。

英语演讲比赛演讲稿(8篇)

英语演讲比赛演讲稿(8篇)this is no surprise though if you look at the insights of contemporary psychology. it turns out that we cant even be in a group of people without instinctively mirroring, mimicking their opinions. even about seemingly personal and visceral things like who youre attracted to, you will start aping the beliefs of the people around you without even realizing that thats what youre doing. and groups famously follow the opinions of the most dominant or charismatic person in the room, even though theres zero correlation between being the best talker and having the best ideas -- i mean zero. so ... (laughter) you might be following the person with the best ideas, but you might not. and do you really want to leave it up to chance? much better for everybody to go off by themselves, generate their own ideas freed from the distortions of group dynamics, and then come together as a team to talk them throughin a well-managed environment and take it from there.now if all this is true, then why are we getting it so wrong? why are we setting up our schools this way and our workplaces? and why are we making these introverts feel so guilty about wanting tojust go off by themselves some of the time? one answer lies deep in our cultural history. western societies, and in particular the u.s., have always favored the man of action over the man of contemplation and “man“ of contemplation. but in americas early days, we lived in what historians call a culture of character, where we still, at that point, valued people for their inner selves and their moral rectitude. and if you look at the self-help books from this era, they all had titles with things like “character, the grandest thing in the world.“ and they featured role models like abraham lincoln who was praised for being modest and unassuming. ralph waldo emerson called him “a man who does not offend by superiority.“but then we hit the 20th century and we entered a new culture that historians call the culture of personality. what happened is we had evolved an agricultural economy to a world of big business. and so suddenly people are moving from small towns to the cities. and instead of working alongside people theyve known all their lives, now they are having to prove themselves in a crowd of strangers. so, quite understandably, qualities like magnetism and charisma suddenly come to seem really important. and sure enough, theself-help books change to meet these new needs and they start to have names like “how to win friends and influence people.“ and they feature as their role models really great salesmen. so thats the world were living in today. thats our cultural inheritance. 英语演讲竞赛经典优秀演讲稿篇五英语演讲竞赛即兴演讲篇六英语演讲大赛英文篇七good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! The poet said: spring flowers to the door pushed open.I said:Thanksgiving to the door pushed open the living. Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams. However,we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well asordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Don’t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of f→.←uture. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go,life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.Thank you!。

As we grow older, we may start to believe that those dreams are out of reach. But I am here to tell you that with determination and hard work, anything is possible. My dream is to become a doctor. It is a long and challenging path, but I am determined to see it through. I have spent countless hours studying, volunteering at hospitals, and working to save money for my education. But my dream is not just about me. It is about making a difference in the world. As a doctor, I will have the power to heal and comfort those who are suffering. I can help to make the world a better place, one patient at a time.I believe that we all have dreams that are just as powerful and important as mine. Maybe your dream is to be a teacher, a scientist, or a social worker. Whatever it is, I urge you to hold on to that dream and work towards it with everything you have.Because the power of dreams is not just in achieving them, but in the journey we take to get there. They have the power to change the world.Thank you.2. The Importance of Taking ActionGood afternoon, esteemed judges, teachers, and fellow students. We all have ideas and dreams for our lives, but there is a key ingredient that is vital in turning those ideas into reality: taking action. It is easy to get caught up in the safety of our comfort zones, and to feel paralyzed by the fear of failure or the unknown. But the truth is, nothing will ever be accomplished unless we take action. Think about some of the greatest innovators and leaders in history. They did not accomplish their feats by sitting on their hands and hoping for success. They took risks, they went outside of their comfort zones, and they pushed through any obstacles in their way.But taking action doesn’t mean that we hav e to suddenly jump off a cliff and hope for the best. It simply means that we take small, measurable steps towards our goals every day. It means that we are intentional about our priorities and are willing to do whatever ittakes to make progress. For example, if your dream is to become an artist, start by practicing your craft every day. Create a portfolio of your work, network with other artists, and put yourself out there. If you want to be a writer, start writing every day, and submit your work to publications or start a blog.Whatever it is, take steps towards it every day. Believe in yourself, surround yourself with positive influences, and never give up on your dreams. In conclusion, I encourage you to take action towards your goals and dreams today. You are capable of achieving great things if you are willing to take the first step.Thank you.3. The Power of KindnessGood afternoon, esteemed judges, teachers, and fellow students. In a world that often seems divided and angry, it can be easy to lose sight of the power of kindness. But I am here to remind you that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a huge impact in the world around us.Kindness is not just a feel-good sentiment; it is a powerful force that can transform lives. A simple smile or a kind word can make all the difference to someone who is struggling. It can brightentheir mood, their day, and even their entire outlook on life. But the benefits of kindness extend far beyond those who receive it. Showing kindness can improve our own mental health, reduce stress, and even boost our immune system. So I encourage you, my fellow students, to cultivate kindness in your daily lives. It doesn’t have to be a grand gesture; it can be as simple as holding the door open for someone, complimenting a classmate, or volunteering your time to help those in need. And kindness is not just for our friends and loved ones. It is for everyone, regardless of their background, beliefs, or opinions. We are all human, and we all deserve compassion and kindness. In conclusion, I urge you to make kindness a priority in your life. Through small and simple acts of kindness, we can create a ripple effect that spreads throughout our communities and makes the world a better place.Thank you.。

10分钟英语演讲稿6篇10分钟英语演讲稿 (1) Students, guests , teachers and Honorable JudgesGood morning !my great pleasure to share my dream with you today. my dream is tobecome a teacher....As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist inour life. I don’t expect complete freedom, which is impossible. I simplyhave a dream that supports my life.I dream that one day, I could escape from the deep sea of thickschoolbooks and lead my own life. With my favorite fictions, I lie freelyon the green grass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the fresh and cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last.Simple and short enjoyment can bring me great satisfaction.I dream that one day the adults could throw their prejudice of comicand cartoon away. They could keep a lovely heart that can share sorrowand happiness with us while watching cartoon or doing personal things. That’s the real communication of heart to heart.I have the belief that my dreams should come true. I am looking forwardto some day coming when I am like a proud eagle, which flies to the blueand vast sky.10分钟英语演讲稿 (2) Today I am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. What is success? It is what everyone is longing for.Sometimes successwould be rather simple. Winning a game is success; getting a high gradein the exam is success; making a new friend is success; even now I am standing here giving my speech is somehow also success. However, as a person’s whole life is concerned, success becomes very complicated. Is fortune success? Is fame success? Is high social status success? No, I don’t think so. I believe success is the realization of people’s hopes and ideals.Nowadays, in the modern society there are many peoplewho are regarded as the successful. And the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and luxurious life. So most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. But the problem is wether it is real success. We all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. If we keep chasing them, where is the end? What will satisfy us at last? Therefore, we can see, to get the real Success we must need something inside, which is the realization ofpeople’ hopes and ideals.Different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. But I am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. These are the best treasures. So now I am very proud that I have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. It is my success, cause I raise up to challenge my hope. What is success? Everyone has his own interpretation as I do. But Iam sureevery success leads to an ever-brighter future. So ladies andgentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one ofus, can make asuccessful life!Wish you all good success!10分钟英语演讲稿 (3) ladies and gentlemen, i can say i'm no less nervous than my fellowand he was on the first time coming before this house. i can say ladiesand gentlemen, that the problem we are facing before us, the problem thati have to deal with today, is how to define success.it is often too easy, it is often too simplistic to define successas something external, something objective, something dealing with money, fame or reputation. but what i believe success is that it is not external.it comes from within. it is internal. i believe success is that you haveto have your own ideals, and that you have faith in those ideals, evenin the face of extreme adversity. and that is my definition of success.i also believe that success is not discriminatory. success does notattach to a mere particular class of individuals. i believe that each andevery individual, regardless of race, gender, class or even economicbackground, has an equal right to success, because each person has theright to develop his own ideals and to pursue those ideals.a good example of this is the composer beethoven, a man who all ofus know has created great symphonies. this man was deaf. this man wasunable to hear his own majestic pieces of work. and yet, he held to hisideal of creation of music to the very end. then what exactly does thedefinition of success mean to me? to answer this question, to exemplify it, i pose a question to this house. i pose a question what brings us here together today, ladies and gentlemen, students and educators as you like. and the answer that i have found is the love for the spoken word.love for the spoken word means how it is to express, how it is to listen, how it is to understand. because what happens when you have a pause, what happens when you have a rhetoric speech all differs on the impact and communication that you have on your audience. but the meaning of the spoken word applies ever more strongly to those who are unable to speak, or are unwilling to speak. because all the beautiful thoughts and emotions encapsulated in that person will inevitably be lost, if that person is not able to speak.i once went to australia in 1998,and i saw two pictures drawn by three-year-old children. one was drawn by a normal child, one was drawn by what is known as an autistic child, a child which is exclusive, which is unable to express himself verbally to other people. and you could see the difference between the pictures. one was a picture of a horse very simple and straightforward. one was a picture of a horse a gain, but you could see the life, you could see the spirit, and you could see the detail behind that picture.so the point i want to make here is that these people do have emotion they understand a lot, but it is very very fatal that they are not able to express themselves. and my definition of success is to share with them the beauty of the spoken word. my definition of success is to teach and be able to change these people's lives, because i have had the opportunity of encountering these people in my times either at school or during my summer jobs. i have had the time and opportunity to change these people.i have had the time to see exactly what exactly they go d1rough and tounderstand that point.my ideal here is to share the beauty of the spoken word to these people.it is fright fatal that these people are not given the opportunity to beunderstood by the world. i say it because these people are often neglectedby the public. i say it because people often think they are awkward anddifferent. but i say we cannot forgive these acts because we must havea proactive approach to teach these people.i say, ladies and gentlemen, that is important to keep your ideals.i say we should not have a premature abortion of ideals. it is easy tostray; it is easy to be distracted. what i say is let your ideals liveon. let the child of your ideals live on, because what i want to leaveyou with is living you life without an ideal means that your life is notworth living at all. thank you.10分钟英语演讲稿 (4) Nothing is difficult if you put your heart on it. Nothing is easy ifyou don’t try your best.We often hear people say, “Never give up.” This can be encouragingwords and words of determination. A person who believes in them will keeptrying to reach his goal no matter how many times he fails. In my opinion, the quality of determination to succeed is an important one to have. Therefore, I believe that we should never give up.One reason is that if we give up too easily, we will rarely achieveanything. It is not unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at somethingnew, so we should not feel discouraged and should try again. Besides, ifwe always give up when we fail, we will not be able to develop new skillsand grow as people. Another reason we should never give up is that we canlearn from our mistakes only if we make a new effort. If we do not tryagain, the lesson we have learned is wasted. Finally, we should never giveup because as we work to reach our goals, we develop confidence, and thisconfidence can help us succeed in other areas of our lives.Probably the greatest example of persistence is Abraham Lincoln. Borninto poverty, Lincoln was faced with defeat throughout his life. He losteight elections, twice failed in business and suffered a nervousbreakdown. He could have quit many times - but he didn't and because he didn'tquit, he became one of the greatest presidents in the history of ourcountry.Lincoln was a champion and he never gave up.In short, it is important that we don’t give up when working for ourgoals. Whether we succeed in the end or not, we will learn something, andwhat we learn will help us to become better, more confident people.Furthermore, if we give up, we have no chance of attaining our goals, butif we keep trying, there is always a chance that we will succeed oneday.Thank you very much!10分钟英语演讲稿 (5) China has its own sport legends. Back to Song Dynasty, People startedto play a game called Cuju, which is regarded as the origin of Ancientfootball. So now, you will understand why our women football team is sogood today. With a concept inspired by the famed Silk Road, our Torch Relay willbreak new ground, traveling from Olympia through some of the oldestcivilizations known to man-Greek, Indian and Chinese. Carrying themessage “Share the peace, Share the Olympics. “ The flame will passthrough Tibet, cross the Yangtze and Yellow Rivers, Travel the Great Walland visit Chinese Taiwan and the 56 Ethnic communities who make up oursociety. On its journey, the flame will be seen by and inspire more humanbeings than any previous relay.I am afraid I cannot prevent the whole picture of our cultural programswithin such a short period of time. Actually, what we have shown you heretoday is only a fraction of Beijing that awaits you. Ladies and gentlemen,I believe that Beijing will prove to be a land of wonders to athletes, spectators and the worldwide television audience alike. Come and join us.Thank you. Thank you all.10分钟英语演讲稿 (6) with the development of science and technology, change has penetratedinto every aspect of our daily life. to illustrate that, i'd like to makea comparison of these two seemingly insignificant things: milkman andmailman, whose differences indicate our changing way of living with thetimes.home milk delivery has almost gone extinct in china now, also gonewith it are the milkmen, who once delivered bottled fresh milkdoor-to-door. on the other hand, mailman's business or the courier servicehas thrived as online shopping gains popularity. however, in retrospect,i find something has been lost in this transition, something shakespearecalled as “the milk of human kindness”。

10分钟英语演讲稿篇1 In the matter of courage we all have our limits. there never was a hero who did not have his bounds.i suppose it may be said of nelson and all the others whose courage has been advertised that there came times in their lives when their bravery knew it had come to its limit.I have found mine a good many times. sometimes this was expected--often it was unexpected. i know a man who is not afraid to sleep with a rattle-snake, but you could not get him to sleep with a safety-razor.I never had the courage to talk across a long, narrow room.i should be at the end of the room facing all the audience. if i attempt to talk across a room i find myself turning this way and that, and thus at alternate periods i have part of the audience behind me. you ought never to have any part of the audience behind you; you never can tell what they are going to do.I'll sit down.10分钟英语演讲稿篇2 I heard a word"Don`t give , just be you.Because life`s too short tobe anybody else."I think what this word express is so yeah,so I wanna you to memorize it.Everyone has a beautiful dream and personal life principle.but on the way that we hunt for the keys of acheving our dreams, there are many difficulties appearing, thus, several timid men give in to them, one after another, some peaple lost their first dreams and even themselves. So!Many characters and pretty or handsome stars around us,we are obesessed with some of those, and even ad occean of peaple volunteer to imitate those idols. However,as we turn back,we will find in surprise, the tree is still the old tree, the house is still,......the everything is still the same.We didn`t change them a little. The same as our competitions, teachers always say:"You`d better read more essays and memorize some perfect or wonderful sentenses,it`s helpful for your writing level."Well!I don`t think so! Personally,I feel we must keep on our styles and priciple, due to this, when readers read our essays, they might learn about us better, therefore we will become happier to make the life colorful and meaningful. So,I support that we read more books, rather than recite more essays.Being true to yourself implies if you are delighted, thenyou laugh,if you are sad, then you cry, don`t hide your mood,do not be hypocritical.Go on your dream which is deep in your hear. You can`t become the other like magic, because there is no such thing as magic in the wold,OK!Let`s stand in front of the mirror, carefully look at ourselves.Say:Calm down.Don`t get anything to bother your heart, just be true to yourself.10分钟英语演讲稿篇3 Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests and honorable judges:I’m Li Dawei from Class 9, Grade 2. It is my great honour to share my viewpoints on Culture Smart and Science Intelligence with all of dear audience present. As is known to us all that our contemporary lives and the society in current are undergoing profound changes with the promoting development of science and technology. However, have we realized the estrange and departure of our culture against the background on which the positive achievements have been brought by science and technology. Which course should we take in culture smart and science intelligence as the issue on social development is concerned in the process of ultrahigh-speeded urbanization? My viewpoint is clear an firm, that is the cultue smart. It is generally accepted by the broad mass that science andtechnology take the supreme lead of the productivity. No achievements nurtured by civilization in our contemporary society can be created without the development of science and technology and the society will fall to its stagnant pace. Thanks to the progress made by the advancing science and technology, especially the development of intelligentization, schemed out by robots, unmanned driving and digital platform, offers great convienience to both the production and daily lives of human beings and promotes the social progress. But under no circumstances should we admit that a series of problems on environment and social ethics concerning environment pollution, ozonocavity, greenhouse effect, colon human and nuclear deterrent occurred against the prosperity carried out by science and technology. So how can we spare no effort on keeping such problems from deterioration in all possibilities? What development pattern will be on science and technology in future? The answer is that we need the guidance of culture smart. When we talk about culture, we may regard it as the tradition and history, but how can the intelligentization of science and technology be guided by the culture smart? Here I want to put it that culture is not like a pond filled with stagnant water, but a dynamic system. We can never draw a conclusion of culture as “the deposit of history”, what’s more, we should make it clear that the culture defines our present and future. Modernization, of any kind or shape, shares no alteration on its starting point but the commencement of culture. If not the modernization will inevitably fall to the situation where the water has no source and the tree has no root. The development of science and technology takes no exception on this. The ultrahigh speed of the development of contemporary science and technology contributes no efforts on science and technology itself, but the ideological motivation and the promotion spurred by the ideological power offerd by culture smart. Karl Poopper once said, the elimination of culture leads to the disappearance of civilization. It is obviously that if the promotion effect had been omitted, the science and technology could have been far-reached.The culture smart guides our society into stability and prosperity. We need culture smart because on the one hand, culture provides ideological power to science and technology, on the other hand, culture prevents the tendency of extremity of science and technology. The current problem concerning colon human, outerspace utilitization and nuclear weapon byproductedby contemporary science and technology call for the development in a just course on the sphere of culture. The wisdom-vacanted culture and the extremized science and technology will throw a great threat to the survival of us human beings and the world peace. So, ladies and gentlemen, I think that the culture wisdom is our “root” and we need the root that supports our belief, the negation of the root casts its reflections on history and the existence of us human beings. So only in the manner of settling on the basis of culture smart can we make it helpful to the development of science and technology in a just course, the continual progress of human society, the prosperity and peace.Thank you!---来源网络整理,仅供参考。

研究生英语演讲比赛演讲稿研究生英语演讲10分钟Chongqing in My HeartGood afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, my topic is “Chongqing in my heart”Before I went to Chongqing, I was told that Chongqing was a good place famous for its geography peculiarity and its thick fog, that is why it was called “city of mountains” and “city of fog”. Since then, I dreamed of coming to Chongqing some day. Because in my mind, Chongqing should also be a city of garden.Last year, when I really got the chance to come to Chongqing, I was fully disappointed. I clearly remembered the day when I came out of the train station, I was shocked by what I saw. Firstly, I saw a heavy polluted city. Streets were crowded with buses and cars which discharged waste gases. The air was permeated with fumes coming out of the huge chimneys. When it rains, the dark, dirty sewage flew along the streets. I saw rubbish in every corner abandoned by people. I saw people cross thestreets without obeying the traffic rules. I also saw people raced to seize the seats in the public buses and quarreled with each other……. At that time, I asked myself, “Is this city Chongqing?”I do not deny that Chongqing is a very modern city. But modern city does not only mean high buildings, busy transportation and advanced communication network, but alsomeans healthy living environment and civilized citizens. In some sense, the latter is even more important. As the youngest municipality in China, Chongqing developed so quickly that it has changed a lot in just three years. Skyscraper has been construction one by one. There are more roads and bridges. There are more and more people who can afford to hold cell phones. But there are also some bad things that keep unchanged. People still throw rubbish without extra trouble and spit to the ground. And people take it for granted to do this. They destroy our environment unconsciously or consciously. When people criticize the pollution problems, they do not know that themselves are also to blame. They do notrealize that a good and healthy environment depends on everyone’s effort. Now I have lived in Chongqing for more than one year, I have seen a lot and thought a lot. In my mind, Chongqing is a window of China, from which the people in the outside world and the people in other places of China can know and understand China.I hope that one day when I come to Chongqing again, I will see a clean and tidy city with more trees and flowers. The air will be fresh and the sky will no longer be dusky. The water in the rivers will not longer be muddy but turn limpid.I hope citizens of Chongqing take responsibility of protecting the nature instead of destroying it. People will not quarrel in the crowded buses and abuse each other. And I hope they still possess peasants’ honesty and ready to help others.I have confidence that Chongqing will get rid of all her disadvantages and develop to a new step. Because this city is so young and her people are so vigorous and ready to accept anything new and useful. They earnestly learnnew knowledge and want to catch up with others. They want to grasp the good chance of “ the big development of the west”. They are warm-hearted and they care about the future of Chongqing and China. The day before I leave Chongqing is getting nearer and nearer. I begin to like this city and its people. Chongqing is always a new face to me because she is always changing. In my heart, she is a blooming flower. That’s all, thank you.
